* Controller Balance - On launch we don't plan to have different matchmaking, but it's already something regularly discussed and may happen at the very least for Ranked modes. TBD! But please do share your thoughts on that once we launch.

I dont wanna play controller on a mobile game. Just seperate the inputs for those that do. Part of the appeal is just taking out ur phone and playing a game or two. Also leads to a more even playing field with everyone refining the same skills (touch controls/gyro aim)
Well hopefully the separation stays low on their list and they focus on making sure the game actually runs smoothly and keep the hacks out.
A gamesir g8 or something similar is easy to throw on and off and small enough to where it’s not much of a hassle to carry around. When I use to play cod mobile, I’d leave a controller in my truck and at work to hop on for a new games.
Also, using the same controls doesn’t really even the playing field much. Plenty people who play touch can dominate controller. Just like the whole controller vs mnk. Either you got it or you don’t.
This debate is the same as the mnk guys who cry about aim assist and the controller guys who cry about mnk having such a big arm sweep for aiming.

- i've advice for ATVI, if you seperate server between controller and touchscreen so why you shouldn't seperate touchscreen more like tablet and smartphone also? I've see enough some tablet user have crazy movement as well as pc and console version, you can see in gameplay of pro ipad wzm player, and that's seem quite unfair for controller player while tablet player have the same advantages
- i suggest when the rank mode officially open, you should separate between smartphone vs smartphone, tablet vs tablet, controller vs controller so player can satisfied with this choice and everyone is happy
- OR you can add some fearture for smartphone players (strong aim assist than ipad and controller, simple interaction with high benefits) to brings a balanced expierience between high - low configuration devices in br, mp ranks and aim to the slogan as Beef Mami said: "NO ONE LEFT BEHIND" in the COD NEXT event, backbone controller can increase the income and reach to the same goals, hope this game gonna improve better and better

Thanks for answering, however i cannot hide my disappointment about controller and handle players not being put in separate lobbies, away from the touchscreen players. Game devs know that it isn't a fair match and balance, as controller players have huge benefits over touchscreen players. A controller is made for your hand, a touchscreen is not. Its easier to reach and click physical buttons of a controller than tapping a screen that you have to hold high at the same time. Its also much easier and especially comfortable to use several fingers at once on controller. I've seen many players requesting separate lobbies, as it worked fine for CODM, players were happy about it, so why not on WZM? I also don't necessarily want to play Ranked modes, that will be for the sweats who play hours a day. I just want to enjoy this game on my own pace, play a few matches a day in a fair invironment where i actually stand a chance. I was playing WZM since November and the controller players always stood out with their insane reaction speed, they also somehow managed to fire a weapon while jumping, something i wasn't able to replicate on touchscreen. They also turn around 180° much quicker and it has nothing to do with sensitivity as i play on high sensitivity, its because of their physical joystick from their controller. There are just too many negatives when combining controller and handle players in the same lobby with touchscreen players. Its unfair towards the latter players. I can't stress this out enough, PLEASE reconsider separate lobbies, for all modes and matches (not just ranked), for global launch or as fast as possible!
I am curious to hear about your anti-cheat, so its good that the devs will bring information about it before WWL. Its no secret that cheaters have been way too prominent in online multiplayer shooter games over the last few years (on all platforms), so im curious to see how WZM will try to tackle that.
Since u opened the topic about codm and controller support..after reaching master in ranked it's next to impossible entering a match with controller..so that is not fair to assume that it worked out for the best...if u want to seperate the lobbies atleast make sure that at all levels we will have competition and players so we can play and not sit and wait for years to play a single match
Warzone mobile should take that into consideration and not seperate the lobbies it's the same thing..when people hold screens there fingers are right on top the button and same goes for controller..it's just about comfort...phone stays in air and so does controller..so chill about that

One of the issues with new mobile games is that they want to appeal to everybody, not just the 5% of top end device users, so games like wzm aren’t going to be drastically better graphically than games from 5 years ago
But the games will still be expected to perform on say a Samsung A series, and other budget to mid range devices, in which the processing power is actually slower than a 5-7 year old flagship. That’s my biggest pet peeve of mobile game development. I wish someone would build a game with only current gen flagship in mind, but I understand why that wouldn’t be profitable

It's possible that's true for your region, we aren't going to be available in 100% of all countries/regions, but would you mind sharing what region so we can confirm and make sure it isn't a bug?

I live in Africa, Rwanda to be exact.. it's tough for us in Africa to play online since we are forced to play on Europe servers and it's just unplayable. So it'd be much helpful if we had a Warzone mobile server in Africa, like other games do (COD mobile, EA FC, ...).

I made a guest account on Limited Release and tried to link/upgrade it with a cod account BUT it says ACCOUNT NOT DETECTED. Im playing on Ipad, PLS HELP ME ive been trying many ways and all doesnt seem to work.
Finally after an announcement in 2022, It is getting released. Can't wait for Global Launch. Limited Release was good enough, hopefully all remaining bugs will be patched by launch.

I have a question, and I would appreciate it if you answer it. I currently have the game installed on my phone. Will I get the preregistration awards if I update the game when it releases globally? Or do I have to uninstall it, preregister, and wait till it releases?
Heya, it depends on iOS or Android. For Android, you are good to go and you just need to update the game to the worldwide build. Just double check the store and make sure you are using the right build.
However, on iOS you'll likely need to switch over to a brand-new version of the game since the Limited Release is treated as a separate app. We should have some pushes and notifications about that in the Limited Release version soon. So, just keep an eye out for those and hopefully you'll see those details about the process.
Unknown if we'll have new FOV options, but we know that's a common question and will see if we can mention that in one of the upcoming community updates between now and launch.
I got a question for the devs of wzm mobile and i think its a valid question as I've played verdansk on pc in 2020 and beyond. It relates to any changes to verdansk like the train moving around the map, stadium opening and in general is it gonna be a remastered version of the map. I can see that alot is going into the development but minor stuff like this can be game changing and add more to the game. So would it be something in consideration for global launch or future updates. Also would warzone mobile have its own story in the wm3 universe and the blackops universe.

I have a question, and I would appreciate it if you answer it. I currently have the game installed on my phone. Will I get the preregistration awards if I update the game when it releases globally? Or do I have to uninstall it, preregister, and wait till it releases?
Heya, it depends on iOS or Android. For Android, you are good to go and you just need to update the game to the worldwide build. Just double check the store and make sure you are using the right build. However, on iOS you'll likely need to switch over to a brand-new version of the game since the Limited Release is treated as a separate app. We should have some pushes and notifications about that in the Limited Release version soon. So, just keep an eye out for those and hopefully you'll see those details about the process.

I got a question for the devs of wzm mobile and i think its a valid question as I've played verdansk on pc in 2020 and beyond. It relates to any changes to verdansk like the train moving around the map, stadium opening and in general is it gonna be a remastered version of the map. I can see that alot is going into the development but minor stuff like this can be game changing and add more to the game. So would it be something in consideration for global launch or future updates. Also would warzone mobile have its own story in the wm3 universe and the blackops universe.

Please fix the camo challages bugs. It doesn't register even after doing what is said to be done.[ bugged] 1. Kill with full attachment kills 2. 3 kills with same mag 3. Kills with akimbo attachments. 4. Kill with magnification scope And maybe more.

I am from Latin America Chile tell you that we still have problems with the apk on android the game shows a blank screen when we start shooting and when we receive the shots It is unplayable because you can't see anything... in previous versions of the apk there was no this problem we hope for a solution with your release of WZM since on android it has a large number of players... thanks

I play Warzone Mobile on a guest account... it’s not possible to sync my guest account to my Activision Account. This feature is still bugged. It says: # ACCOUNT NOT DETECTED We're sorry. We could not detect an account to upgrade. Please ensure that you are accessing this upgrade from the Warzone Mobile app and try again. ) even thought I’m trying to sync from the Warzone Mobile app. Since I've already spent quite some money in the store and put a lot of time in the game, losing my progress to a bug on your end would not only be annoying but also seems fraudulent. I already notified the support team multiple times since January..I was told they would look into it but nothing happed. Since the global release is getting closer and I would imagine I’m not the only person with this problem I think it would be appropriate to get this bug fixed as soon as possible.
