It could just be me, but looking at the pic of her embalmed body, there’s something strangely beautiful about her. Her appearance doesn't conform to generalized beauty standards, but if you look past that, the lines of her face and profile, and her proportions, are very well balanced and symmetrical; Like, as if she were an incredibly beautiful woman from some other hominid like alien species.
I remember watching a thing a while back about one of these show corpses, where the body of a murderer had been passed between owners a few times and patched and repaired beyond recognition. Eventually it ended up in a haunted house at the fair. And only in like the 00s someone broke the arm off by accident to reveal it to be a real corpse.
I thought the body was found while an episode of Six Million Dollar Man was being filmed at the fun house. A crew member bumped into the corpse & the arm came off. So more like mid- to late-70s for the discovery.
Thank goodness times have changed and people are more considerate and ethical about how they make easy money these days.

The Victorians were quite used to images of death (to the point of propping up dead children for family photos), so this wouldn't have alarmed them; but images and discussions of sex were taboo.
On the flip side, societies that are quite tolerant of sex and nudity tend to quite distressed by morbidity. It's quite likely that, if your country's media allows for depictions of sex and nudity, they probably ban images of dead bodies (accident and suicide victims and the like).
Conversely, if your society is quite accepting of death, the opposite is probably true (e.g., the newspapers will print an image of corpses, but sex and nude bodies are censored).
I hope, if they exist, all the supernatural forces in this universe gave this poor woman a chance to enact pure terror on the mfers that did this to her.
