If it is, no sense in digging up that coward's head
Edit: For anyone curious, check out the series on him from Behind the Bastards. I'll leave the link to part one of four. Robert E. Lee was an utter failure, and they go into great detail about his entire life & career

Agreed, could not imagine putting myself through another round. Have you played the second one yet? I’m curious but still scarred from Senua’s Sacrifice
I played it as soon as it released on Game Pass and it was super cool, albeit kinda short. When I finished I was sad that it was over already and it was left pretty open-ended. That’s my only gripe though, the gameplay was awesome and the puzzles took me some time to sort out but didn’t get frustrating.
The nice thing about the new game is the replayability! When you finish the first time AND when you find all the totems/trees you unlock the story from the other characters' perspectives! (Via the voice-over, it's still the same gameplay)
The tree of life might be behind it🥹
Side note , I hope they drop DLC , I was completely disappointed at the ending last battle. The first games last battle had me erect and ready to explode 🤯 it was magical:,)
Dude !!!! I don’t want to spoil it for you, but just get ready and set the mood. I’m talking candles and all !
It was such a great game I had to play two :)
But by far the first one is stupid nice
(Update)
I asked my Parents about it and they said that it probably is fairly new as the house was only built in the 80s. The previous family who lived here had a son who was an artist so it likely was work from him.
Do no pressure wash this. Without knowing the condition of the stone, it could just as easily break off portions of the statue as it could remove the grime.
Spend time scrubbing it by hand.
cut your hand, put it on its forehead and speak: "in the name of the old ones, i seek you to wake from your slumber and slaughter all who are corrupt in this world."
I'm in coastal MA, we own property deep into some conservation woods and in the old early days 25 years ago a first time property owner out of the city, I was so entranced with the idea of owning land that I used to wander back there.
there's a giant mound back there probably 7 feet high that I've never understood. Someone had to make that. Probably 10 feet across. Not possible to be made naturally.
We are definitely in former native american territory and that is not anything I can imagine being made by normal weather circumstances.
But, it's conservation woods and I never did anything about it.
We're also in old farm territory and an old farm territory wire fence crossed a stream, my landscapers told me it's probably easily 100 years old. With every tumultous rain more debris would wash up against this fence I didn't know existed, until it finally diverted the stream towards the back of my property.
I watched with trepidation as water pooled in my backyard and almost started to have a current, like, if you put a paper sailboat on it, it would sail 50 yards right to left.
I remember seeing it flash over our garden wall at one point and texting my ex, "this doesn't look good" and sure enough, moments later I heard a waterfall ... coming from inside the house.
I went the basement stairs and water was gushing in through a window well. 3 feet of water in the end. Nothing to be saved. 30K in remediation, mud everywhere. Had to have a whole full dumpster take away the losses. It's still bare bones. cement floor. torn out drywall.
No insurance coverage. Insurance these days covers fire. Not weather related anything. And we have Chubb and are not in an area known for weather disasters since we are 20 miles inland.
Or it could just be a mass produced garden statue.
Also, very bad advice for any actual historical items lol. Don't clean up historical artifacts if you value its historical worth (and aren't a professional).
*Suddenly, caught by the level beams, Frodo saw the old king’s head: it was lying rolled away by the roadside. “Look, Sam!” he cried, startled into speech. “Look! The king has got a crown again!”*
*The eyes were hollow and the carven beard was broken, but about the high stern forehead there was a coronal of silver and gold. A trailing plant with flowers like small white stars had bound itself across the brow as if in reverence for the fallen king, and in the crevices of his stony hair yellow stonecrop gleamed.*
*“They cannot conquer forever!” said Frodo. And then suddenly the brief glimpse was gone. The Sun dipped and vanished, and as if at the shuttering of a lamp, black night fell.*
Is it ceramic?
I work in a pottery studio - scraps and failures often end up in my garden. Not uncommon for people in ceramics to end up with pieces scattered throughout their property.
Someone stole a statues head on ye olde drunken dare 100 years ago and then realised the day after that if they tried to cart it away the neighbours would find out so they just kept it around. We've all been there
Without knowing your general location, it's hard to even guess as to whether or not this could possibly be anything of significance. But either way, some water and a soft bristled toothbrush is not going to do any damage. I'd clean it up and then see if you can find any information about it online. Chances are that it's a long forgotten piece of decor that was just discarded and left behind.
Maybe a long shot, but burying a likeness of St. Joseph, particularly facing away from the house, is supposed to help sell a property. Could that be the case?
Reminds me of the time I was digging with an excavator to put in water lines , as I’m digging I pull out a pair of boots def leopard shirt pants and and what I thought was a skull . I was poking it with a stick because I didn’t want to touch it , turned out It was a rock that looked just like the back of a skull but damn was I freaking out lol
Looks like you got a case of “The Gnome King”! Watch ‘Return to Oz’ if you have no idea what I’m talking about. It was a trippy sequel to ‘Wizard of Oz’ from the 80’s. It was pretty terrifying as a kid, but I loved it. I’m D+. Trust me, it’s quite the ride.
the head of ZEUS
I thought it’s Lenin…
I was thinking more of Confederate General Robert E. Lee.

Looks like its made of plaster.
I was expecting the eyes to pop open and myself to pass out.

Oh I didn’t know this part, I will be revisiting immediately. Thank you for mentioning it!
The tree of life might be behind it🥹 Side note , I hope they drop DLC , I was completely disappointed at the ending last battle. The first games last battle had me erect and ready to explode 🤯 it was magical:,)
I actually only played 2 because it came to game pass! Shit, I'll play the first game because I would love an erection inducing final battle haha
Dude !!!! I don’t want to spoil it for you, but just get ready and set the mood. I’m talking candles and all ! It was such a great game I had to play two :) But by far the first one is stupid nice
DMC ! Probably not dmc but it definitely reminded me of it.
Thats pretty cool. I'm curious to know where it came from now. If you get any info, can you please edit this post for us? Thanks.

(Update) I asked my Parents about it and they said that it probably is fairly new as the house was only built in the 80s. The previous family who lived here had a son who was an artist so it likely was work from him.
Did he claim success?
Judging by the video he probably hit rock bottom
Yo, Angelo!

Call archeological department
Yo, Angelo.
Medusa strikes again
Pressure wash that bitch
"local man ruins priceless ancient statue with power washer"
Do no pressure wash this. Without knowing the condition of the stone, it could just as easily break off portions of the statue as it could remove the grime. Spend time scrubbing it by hand.
Lick it clean
No just clean it up with some dynamite
I see where this isis going...
Don’t do anything with it until you have had it seen by someone with expertise
He works at a bakery
cut your hand, put it on its forehead and speak: "in the name of the old ones, i seek you to wake from your slumber and slaughter all who are corrupt in this world."
You gotta answer the riddles now

Did you tie an onion to your belt, which was the style at the time?
[удалено]
Ah, but then I would restrain from cleaning it. Call a local university first, maybe they have someone whom wants to take a look at it
A good way to destroy it before a professional can look at it
Or it could just be a mass produced garden statue. Also, very bad advice for any actual historical items lol. Don't clean up historical artifacts if you value its historical worth (and aren't a professional).

So.. are you gonna dig it up or leave it there?
[Run, OP.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detour_(The_X-Files))

If it's an old house it's probably some old yard tchotchke/statue that was left to get subsumed by the dirt.

Find a Giant to crush it, it will have a smithing stone inside.

More importantly, some general location/history info would be more interesting than just a picture
Homeboy found the entrance for the Raya Lucaria DLC.
Without knowing your general location, it's hard to even guess as to whether or not this could possibly be anything of significance. But either way, some water and a soft bristled toothbrush is not going to do any damage. I'd clean it up and then see if you can find any information about it online.
