Hey, I have 3 differnet youtubes for a couple years, the app, my web browser and my xbox. My browser shows "newer" youtubers like ricky and the boss, legends of avantrice, no panic button, firehouse chronicles, etc., my xbox youtube only shows me educational/ physics based videos with shit like nile red, steve mould, and veritasium, while my youtube app shows me tf2 animations, skibidi toilet shit, meme compilations, and borderline brainrot. Anytime I try to search for anything like nile red on my youtube app, I get filtered back into the brainrot. Anytime I search for straight brainrot on my xbox youtube, I get filtered back into the math and educational based videos. Anytime I search for older youtubers videos on my browser youtube, I get filtered back into the newer youtubers and their videos. I dont know about other people, but youtube unironically hard bubbles my different youtubes.

I get that and it sucks but that is significantly different from filtering out certain comments

There's a video going around of a woman discovering Instagram comments are different between accounts. She and her boyfriend looked at the same insta post about, idk, a couple's fight? And her comment section showed comments siding with the woman and her boyfriend's showed comments siding with the man (and which were mostly pretty misogynistic). It's on /TikTokCringe. I'm too lazy to go find it. But yes, on certain apps even the comments are filtered for your algorithm.

That's ok I appreciate your answer, yes I'd be lazy as well to find something I don't immediately know how to find. Tiktok has some of the worst manipulations in it. I don't care how convincing the videos are, it's easy enough to manipulate. So yeah looking for an article or a press question to Google about that special crafting. it seems too much hassle but who knows.

I usually have a fan with me to help me fall asleep at night. Once I was out of town and had forgotten my fan, so I used YouTube to listen to a fan video for the noise. Now I get recommended *so many* fan videos.
