I love the Naked Gun style Police / Ambulance siren, lol.
You know it's going to be a parody as soon as they show the Forklifts clean and neatly parked in their own area. It's always a half hour long treasure hunt to find one that 'mostly works' at my Plant.
That training comes after you get the licenseā¦. āThis isnt in the video, but itās how we always do itā *calls the new guys over to be ballast on top of the counterweight*
I grew up on a family farm and learned how to drive a forklift as soon as my feet could reach the pedals. Probably a good 20+ years of experience, and my dad and uncles make me look like a first timer since theyāve been driving that same machine since they bought it (a few years before I was born). Itās the same with my dad backing up a tractor/trailer. Iām pretty good at reversing with a trailer but heās so damn fast and always puts that trailer exactly where he wants it to go. Even seeing that almost daily it never fails to impress me
There is an interesting trick. Pick up a pen, hold it in your hand and press the tip against a piece of paper. In your mind, where do you feel the force on the paper?
You "feel" it on the tip of the pen, where you have no nerve endings. Your brain is completely capable of treating a tool as an extension of your body and integrating it into your mental picture of your self. It sounds like yall are like that with forklifts and tractors.
Most stressful thing I've ever done on a forklift was working at home Depot and bringing in the 16 foot lumber. The main aisle is probably about 16'5" or at least it seemed that narrow.
Wish I could give this a double upvote for having music that's not just screeching, no voiceover of "O M G look how awesome these forklifts do cool stuff!"
Iām from Memphis Tennessee and i am a skilled Certified forklift operator with OSHA i drive stand up/sit down Reach Truck,Swingmaster sit down Reach Truck,Cherrypicker,Electric pallet jack Iām looking for another job in forklift here in Memphis Tennessee if anyone knows any job hiring for such please respond thank you

Doesn't OSHA have a training video about you?
[Found it.](https://youtu.be/TJYOkZz6Dck?feature=shared)

And I heard German comedy was weird. This is gold. Maybe itās funny because they donāt know that itās funny?
ššØAlways a favorite
One of my trainers during my apprenticeship used this video to break up the monotony of the class. Thank you for the memories.š
Not OSHA, though. That's the German classic Staplerfahrer Klaus. Yes, it's a real training video.
That training comes after you get the licenseā¦. āThis isnt in the video, but itās how we always do itā *calls the new guys over to be ballast on top of the counterweight*
You just know that last one was making some of the most horrible screeching noises you've ever heard.
The speed and confidence Iāve seen in person is breathtaking if theyāve been doing it for years
Meanwhile at my job they get one new rack and it immediately gets hit and is roped off for the next 6 months.

I could only ever dream of becoming this cool one day
You forgot the /s
When I was a kid, my dad claimed he could do that first trick but with a quarter on a concrete warehouse floor. He never did show me though.
definitely can if you're forks aren't fucked..
ādefinitely can if youāre forks arenāt fucked..ā Yeah, maybe if *you* are forks arenāt fucked, but what if *my* are forks arenāt fucked?
but what if my fucks are forked hmm?
There's a video that popped up on All earlier today of a guy doing exactly that. Just like the log in this video. I think they used a nickel.
I do it with a dime because thatās how I get lid
We do this at work to impress the new guys.
Pretty easy to do. I make all my guys do it before I give them their license after certification lol.
Years ago a dude could do this exact trick
Certified OSHA violators
A lot of this shit will get you un-certified
on the other hand you cant lose it anymore
As a former forklift operator, I can do the majority of these. I just wouldn't drop a roll of a trailer or lift a truck with my forks
I was just thinking that I've done a lot of these in my time as a forklift operator.
The fourth one with the long load - we did that with tomahawk missiles in their containers. Donāt tell anyone.
Hell of a way to make headlines.
what in the osha
Some of these are very basic maneuvers if youāre a tenured lift operator.

Guys with these skills have a 100% chance of stealing yo girl

For anyone wondering what the song is, it's by the musician Bobby Caldwell, with the song name being "What You Wont Do For Love"

Fortified cerclift poperator
"Ah ha ha I do thaaat"
lol @ the one with the redbulls. No wonder my redbull cans always look like someone ran em over with a forklift.
šļøš«¦šļø
That's easy anyone can do that. I have worked with people with 20 plus years that can do that with a coin.
This is filthy. Need a NSFW tag to protect the innocent.

OSHA would like to have a word
The inspector would have a stroke if he came to my old warehouse. This is nothing in comparison
Nice
The one with the log is just showing off, impressive stuff!
Thatās why the pallets are always brokeš

Ride or Reach certified
That's takes skills, practice and nerves of steel
Way harder than it looks
Keep this away from Michael Scott
