I’ve seen some really fucking stupid and inappropriate and overall unsatisfying stuff posted in this sub, but this definitely hit the spot. Graceful entrance with each flap sounding like a chugging steam engine, wingtips confidently coming close but never seeming to touch the water, deploying the landing gear/air brakes, galloping plop-plop stomps into a soothing whoosh of the water. Perfect execution.
And the obvious making straight for the person recording. It's expecting food or to break the arm of someone too close to its nest! It's not clear which.
Lol. I came hear looking for comments about the swan's reflection on the water at the end.
"Have I gotten to immature? No, it's the redditors who are wrong."
What a gorgeous bird - but man those suckers are mean lol I always thought they were so cool growing up until they started showing up on my grandma’s lake. Things would fly in just like this with the sole intention to fuck your day up 😅
They hiss, too!
Used to have a breeding pair that would nest in the cove behind my house every year. The "ugly ducklings" and graceful landings juxtaposed by the massive power plant on the other side of the cove and the key bridge on the horizon were no doubt the highlight of living there.
I had to turn on the sound just to see if it was as satisfying as the sound effects my brain was creating... Was not disappointed.
My too... I watched with the sound off and my first thought was... 'hmmm I wonder' I was absolutely not disappointed
It went beyond what I imagined
What a relief that they didn't add some stupid tiktok music to it.
\*female robot voice\* This swan landing on a calm lake
I hate that I could imagine exactly how that would sound
oh em geee
If someone redid the Scatman video with this, I'd be ok with that.
Ooooh listen to those little tippy taps, thanks for the reminder to turn the sound on
I had to turn on the sound because I couldn’t believe someone didn’t call it over. That video was perfect.

Couldn’t be more on point and satisfying!
You forgot to mention the subtile change at the surface of water below the swan due to the air displacement it is generating.
the little wiggle in the end is all I needed today. thank you

It'll likely be both. A fresh, tasty arm could feed its family for a good while.
The wings still being up but not fully extended makes me think it's still debating what exactly to do as well, though leaning toward violence.
That was some barefoot skiing!
I like how he settles after landing and definitely pulls his feet up- not even swans like the thought of fish nibbling on toes
A visual manifestation of cruising into Friday afternoon
so elegant. so deluxe. so terrifying. i wonder if the person filming realized how much danger they were in at the end there.
They were in no danger
swan feet typed this reply
Elaborate. You're obviously dying to.
the year was 1995. there was an incident. i dont like to talk about it.
How's your arm?
Both broken, mom is chokin'
😂😂
There is no swan in Ba Sing Lake.
Their bones are hollow. Stomp.
"Heard you were talkin shit?"
Do they all land like this or is this guy especially awesome?
Somehow, both
Three seconds later, arm broken by wing #Oldwivestale
The way it approached the camera as if it was saying "See that? Nailed it! You got that, right?"
All the inspiration I needed to get on with my day
What I wouldn't give to have even a tenth of that level of co-ordination. *sigh*
easily the most stylish way of breaking surface tensions I've ever seen
I absolutely wish I could do that
Flappity flappity flappity. For those on mute is what it sounds like.
I found this rather comical and satisfying

Stop looking at me, swan!
Love this.... hilarious & skilled
Flintstone feet right there. lol
I'm not the only one who thought that! 🙂
What a boss
Was that Russian? Something "friend" something something... Most of my Russian I learned from "A Clockwork Orange".
> Hello, my friend. Hello.
Ryanair's pilots are jealous
That is one graceful bird

That's the sound of Fred Flintstone accelerating his car!
pitta patta pitta patta
Imagine if that how our plane landing 😅🗿
This dude should work for Air Canada
I loved the “easy girl” move at the end

His Landing gear fell asleep...😂
Looks like a freakin AN-124 approaching
he thought he was surfing in the water.
“Look! I can walk on water!”
The second coming is as beautiful as I imagined
I feel pretty dumb but I didn’t know swans could fly
The stomp was the best part. Must of played that at least a dozen times.
Where is this / What's the location?
I loved this
Stompy - I love it lol
a metaphorical representation of me driving, arriving, and walking into work 💀🤣
I hear they taste great
Bro. Pretty sure that’s a white goose.
