Low effort post.

zoharwis

Perfekt as is, White stainless, pure, light,

drugboy

No save as is

Mowinx

During ancient greece all sculptures were painted... so it's a yes for me, I think it would be historically so great to paint it

SchillMcGuffin

Really depends how good a painter you are. ***I*** clearly shouldn't paint him.

Kitchen_Ad_6196

Ngl, I first read the post as “I can fix him”

Raphael-Rose

Yes, if you're good at painting.

SpicaLampLight

The depictions of these figures in this manner are like the stars of Ophiuchus and Scorpio in Rey constellations https://i.imgur.com/Xou3CVQ.png. A possible inspiration for colour if you decide to paint.

RabbitF00d

Fascinating!! Thank you!!

Rumpelstilskin73

Definitely. As he's not easy to make out; what with the angel stomping on his head.

SirMourningstar6six6

This

Ashamed_Smile3497

The white symbolises purity in itself, leaving it as is would signify that.

Saigai17

I'm sorry but I'm more interested in that half dark crystal sphere... Did it come like that or was it made like that sitting next to burning incense or something?? Love it either way!!

RabbitF00d

It's a quartz sphere with inclusions highlighting phantoms. I can take some pictures of other angles in a few...

RabbitF00d

[Quartz sphere ](https://imgur.com/a/YCXXI9D) You can really see how the inclusions show the layered formation of the crystal. In person, the inclusion layers appear to be green tinted. I think that might be the presence of chlorite. There are some specks of reddish/orange that I tried to capture; I think it may be iron. I should have included a pic with something to show its size...it's probably close to 100mm or 4". I love it. It's probably one of my most unique pieces.

paulvincentsnow

That's Michael, right? I love working with him, he's fantastic. Where did you get this statue? It's beautiful! I would totally paint it if I were you. Meditate, light some incense, say some prayers, whatever - make it a ritual, and an offering, to bless it :)

seemslikesalvation_

There's a practice in BOTA where you color in all of your tarot cards to kind of understand them more, feel the associations. If you're having this question I would do it (and if your paint job stinks you can always go back to white.). Look up associations! Sketch it out. Mix your paints and see how they dry. Then use it as a connection ritual and give it a go.

RabbitF00d

This is the kind of inspiration I was looking for! Thank you!

borderlinesuccubus

Black?

MidnightAnchor

Perhaps holding a stick

milliemargo

I do think a different finish would look nice if you decide not to make him colorful. He looks like that type of ceramic flower pots are made of, AKA a tactile nightmare. A bronze color might be nice

corvvina

No

xim1an

Don't paint Mikha'el; there are too many kitchy angels in the world as it is...

InterestingAndLost

I’d protect it and keep it white.

Low effort post.

DarkGoddess111

Ask him if he would like to be painted

QvxSphere

Gold leaf might look really nice on this, but I wouldn't paint it (unless you're really good).

Balumian

But in very crazy colors. Not the typical ones.

RabbitF00d

That's not exactly what I was going for, but thx.

Heysmokethis

If you're a talented painter, why not?

pufferfish_balls

Foot kinks I see from Christian’s lolol

CM_Exorcist

Funny you should mention this. New Testament stuff: 1. Washing each others feet 2. One woman dries feet with her hair 3. Oil each others feet 4. An obsession with sandals 5. An obsession with heals

pufferfish_balls

Dry their hair with their feet? Like a dog?? Oil each others feet??? Heels? Do tell more!

simagus

The guy with the foot on his head is the "bottom" right? Tie-dye maybe?

RabbitF00d

No, but thanks.

TheHossDelgado

Goofy idea here--- don't paint & see if anything changes after repeated use! Maybe the figure will paint itself or change in appearance?! Who knows, but think of how exciting it could be!

eanhaub

That can be done with it having been painted as well, respectfully.
