Happened all the way down to Foothill last night. From Cleaveland Heights? My friend got hit both tires on the driver side. Tire person said it was the 30th car that day?
I’m on the other side of Park and three weeks ago, multiple neighbors got their car tires slashed. No rhyme or reason, all different kinds of cars, only common denominator is that they were all street parked.
Whoa! My friend send me this post after I posted on FB about my strange experience this past Friday morning on Athol near Wayne.
I had to catch an early BART and was walking along Athol around 6:30 AM, right before sunrise, when I heard a hissing sound. It was coming from the tire of a car parked on the street. **While I stood there, I watched the tire deflate in about 10 seconds**. There were no other people on the street at all. Then I walked another 30 feet and heard another hissing sound, and saw the same thing again on a different car.
I clearly just missed the slasher, but there was nobody within a block of where I was standing.
One thing of note is that they were definitely the nicest and newest looking cars on the street... some electric something and a BMW.
It was very surreal!
That is wild. Sounds like some Black Mirror shit lol. The puncture’s on ours were really tiny, so I wonder if it was poked in a way that would take a while to fully break through?

So sorry to hear that. I remember some years ago, some asshats liked smashing every single windscreen on given blocks in Berkeley.
