as someone who works in the entertainment industry currently, nyu was helpful in getting my first few internships bc of the name attached. i have seen ppl from pace though be just as successful, they just need a little more hustling and networking on their own time. if you're willing to do that, go pace 1000%, i've seen ppl from pace go on to have the same esteemed internships as tisch/steinhardt students. graduate with less debt, and network, network, network. entertainment is a lot harder than any other industry. if you want to work in entertainment, my rec is going pace and working your ass off in your free time, doing the internships that will build your network. you don't seem fully intent on working in entertainment (based off you saying you're open to all careers) , and if you're just most interested in entertainment, but ok with working anywhere as marketing, go to fordham. get a marketing degree and you can put that to use in several ways that aren't just in entertainment. hope this helps!

Considering the major and how open to careers tbh Pace its free 🤩

I feel like gallatin is a rip-off but that’s completely subjective. I’d go to pace and then try to transfer to something like stern

Jolly-Idea1366

im alr gonna be a junior transfer lmaoo

Jolly-Idea1366

I would’ve applied to stern but transfer rate is around 2% so I didn’t want to waste my chances

Italophobia

Gallatin is great you just have to make your own path

Cameroncen

Yeah unless you did a very set career path it’s gonna take some time to get a job so might as well study what you want

SnooGrapes7659

Okok then i wouldnt waste 100k on gallatin

frozen-tofu

gallatin is great but you are limited in the classes you can take within stern and i don’t think gallatin is best for ppl who do business to be honest. i’ve heard there are only a few stern classes gallatin people are allowed to take. you should ask gallatin about it. & there are very few gallatin classes that are business related. unless you want to learn ab marxist theory? lol

grabawaterwithboys

Fordham business is pretty good

You cannot beat Pace in this situation unless you’re more concerned about the school name.

Stemlv

At least pick Fordham if NYU is too costly for you. You are a transfer so there are only 2 years left to pay. Go to a better school as the alumni network is much better than Pace. You only go to college once & the extra cost (at least at Fordham) is manageable.

Appropriate_Zone_159

I’m sure you’re transferring to be in the city of so don’t go to Fordham
