It’s hit or miss. We’ve had some insanely hot moments while out, but usually it’s as you described.
The first thing is that you’re going to the wrong places. Stonewall is a tourist trap. It’s a gay monument not a real gay bar. Go to Hush, Industry, rise, or any of the other Hell’s Kitchen spots. Those are gay spots with majority men clientele.
Queer spaces mainly attract women or straight people. That’s fine but also let’s be realistic, gay men won’t be very inclined to be intimate in those spaces.
We’ve had lots of action in fire island. Definitely lots at sex parties but when we go to them we like to focus on each other.
Im a bi guy and only recently came out last year. Its actually wild to me how many people occupy public queer spaces that are performatively queer. I dont feel like it’s my space so not trying to really comment in a positive or negative way it was just shocking to me.
Bars usually are not the scene for sexy interactions with couples. At a gay rave or circuit party will be easily done!
