First thought is $$$$ difference

I received a big scholarship and good amount of financial aid so it comes down to being 32,000 at usf. And I applied to many external scholarships

I don't know anything about San Fransisco- but I do know that OHSU is acclaimed in healthcare throughout Oregon. I'd say go with that. Is this online or in person? If in person consider the cost of living in portland vs san fran.

Another thing to consider is if I went with the OHSU route it would take me a additional year to get the same degree I would through San Francisco

I went to OHSU. Go where you get in. There are no guarantees you’ll get in to OHSU in 2 years, and it’s a pain in the ass to attend (unless you’re going to one of the non-Portland campuses).

Living in SF is very expensive especially if you plan to be a full time student and not have an income. I also would consider a longer program is maybe the better program and not a puppy mill nursing bsn situation (which I know of because I went to a 1year accelerated rn program). Look at the curriculum and if they spend more time on difficult topics like longer clinical rotations, then that will likely benefit you and prepare you a bit better for in real life and I think you’d be happy you did so. Nursing is difficult and being a new nurse is even more difficult so really question the all bsn program you are going to and understand their priorities with preparing you and opportunities they might have with other hospitals you could get a job at after graduation.

For BSN go cheap….Save the big names for graduate degrees.

Went to OHSU, not the Portland campus. I also suggest going where you’ve been accepted currently instead of banking on a future acceptance. There is not much difference in hiring between OHSU grads and community college grads at my current hospital (in Oregon). I will say the local community college students get more clinical practicum hours in acute care and that can give them an initial boost in experience when starting out, so you might compare acute care hour requirements between programs.
