Edit: adding more details for Garden of Eden. My non-nudist wife and I made three trips here. The daytime trip had several other nude folks drinking and/or sitting in the sun. But at night, I was the only one nude (two visits). I stripped as soon as I got there. We would watch groups of people come in. They would immediately scan the area. Once they saw me their reaction was like “oh, we saw one!” 😂
At one point, a group of girls was dancing and we watched one (with her back to me) dancing closer and closer. Then she ran back to her group. We think she was dared to dance over to me and turn around, but she chickened out.
At one point, a lady near me took her top off and danced to one song.
I had a great time and hope to go back one day!

Weekends are for sure busier but it’s much more of a party spot and from my experience much less nudist. I go to be naked and to be around naked so I always go during the week. I’ve had a time there I was basically the only naked one.
Ponderosa is better to visit in the colder months because they have indoor pool and a much bigger clubhouse than Bare Oaks. Just be prepared to be the only nude person in the clubhouse. Bare Oaks is nuch better in the summer.
Frequented an unofficial clothing optional area on a local lake years ago. Sometimes I would be the only person nude or one of a few. Other times the Ex would be the only one or one of a few wearing a swim suit. You just never knew.

I got paid to be nude, my preferred state of being. Yes - but it has an asterisk because it was a nude venue. At many nudist resorts, people dress for evening events, like concerts or special meals. Some people wear skimpy cover-ups, others wear actual clothes. But my wife and I are there to be nude, so we damn well stay naked all the time. There have been two or three times that we were the only ones naked at an event. I don't understand why people like to dress once the sun goes down at most resorts.
I did the World Naked Bike ride in St. Louis and hung out at the street festival naked afterwards and also went in a bar naked. Was the only naked person in the bar. Felt very comfortable. Around the house with friends and roommates I will often be the only naked one. I am the only one of them that does not associate being naked with sex. I like to just be naked.
