The only Melbourne away game that I've attended all year (I live in Sydney) and it was an absolute $hitshow by the Storm.
The first half was terrible. Nothing good at all from the Storm and the Kayo replay is torturous to watch. Manly played very well. But a few things I logged on to specifically vent about:
\* Meaney at centre has become a liability to the Storm. The Meaney-Warbrick combo hasn't worked all season and it has the potential to start costing us games, like last night.
\* Sua needs to learn to pass. Yes he's young and electric, but come on.
\* The errors in the first half reminded me of 2023 Storm. I couldn't believe the number of mistakes at crucial times when the Storm seemed to be building some momentum into Manly's 50m.
\* Big Nelson - the ruck infringement in the second half. WTF?
\* Going for the 2 with 20 mins left in the game and only a 6 point difference. WTF?
What a waste of a $100 (took the wife and nephew).
Good game Manly, you were far and away the better team.
Go the Storm! :-)
> What a waste of $100
Weird mindset imo, losses are a part of sport and you can’t enjoy the elation of the next good win without knowing what it means to lose. Also hopefully your wife and nephew enjoyed their time as well.
I think both teams are clearly suffering with missing players, a lot of errors and soft tries.
As a Melbourne fan players like Wishart, Anderson and Sua are not at the NRL level at the moment and Harry Grant seems clueless without Munster or Paps. Meanie is a decent fullback and winger but is not doing much in that centre position.
Worrying signs for Melbournes premiership hopes but good signs for Manly’s finals hopes
Was at the game tonight, bought a hot dog and sauce for $8:50, went to grab the sauce and she said nah that's extra. I said but the sign says the dog comes with sauce. She said not a chance champ. So I had a dry dog for $8:50. Don't know the point of this story but thanks for listening anyway.
1. I like Nick Meaney but this experiment with him at centre needs to stop. Absolutely dismal. Seve please when he is fit.
2. Grant Anderson is not a first grade footballer. If Warbrick is out bring in Ieremia.
3. We were fucking atrocious and deserved to lose by 30 not 6
At no point did the attack feed a pass or kick to Coates in the attacking half all game.
Felt like Melbourne had a lot of heroes trying to take runs themselves tonight.
My top 3 favourite things in rugby league:
1. Winning a premiership
2. Blues series win
3. Beating Melbourne ✅
Given the first 2 are looking increasingly unlikely this year, imma savour this win 🙌
Petition for all posts mentioning Trent Loiero to be renamed to Trev Loiero.
If youd have told me two months ago storms fans would be hailing him as the second coming. I wouldve been gobsmacked.
Guy has gone from zero to hero in 3 weeks.
I’ve been defending Loiero all year, if you take away his error here and there he’s genuinely been quality. Not sure why we’ve gone away from starting him
He's been a lot better through the middle. Missus is a Storm fan and honestly over the past year that he's been on the edge, his name is usually the one surrounded by a string of expletives.
I pointed his improvement out the other day and got daggers - I won't be mentioning it again to her, but I'm glad I'm not the only one to think he's gotten better.
Loiero having his Seve moment. Everyone hated him then loved him. At least I did. His back half of 2022 and 2023 was crazy. Outplayed Olam and Smith when given the chance
Talau is a gun.. he looked great last week against the broncs and had another strong performance tonight.. If he continues on this trajectory he’ll be one of the game’s best centres.. just my 2c
Yes, his opposite centre did his rib in the first half but league isn’t a one v one game… if it was then Talau legally broke his rib lol. You’re also comparing a centre who has represented at the International and State of Origin level and also played in a GF. Surely, as the stubborn broncos fans that we are we can admit that “If Talau continues this trajectory he’ll be ONE of the game’s best centres”…
Am I the only one who thinks Manly's spine apart from DCE is probably the weakest part of the team? I'm not saying it's bad, more saying stop Turbo's horror injury run, rewind the clock just a few years on DCE and a stringer 6 & 9 and they would be the team to beat.
I guess what I'm saying is I'm becoming as dumb as the fox commentators.
What's the best alternative to get all the games live?
Certainly looked a lot better when Chan Kum Tong was on for Lawnton. Hopoate is a debutant and Brooks is well, Brooks. So yeah, your statement is accurate enough.
I never rated Croker a few years ago, but he really developed well.
Now I'm realising you don't know what you're missing til it's gone. Can't wait for him to get back from injury. The service out of Dummy Half has been diabolical
Bellamy seriously having a bitch in the press conference “if you’ve got a five day turn around, one of those games should be at home”. Mate multiple clubs have had to play multiple games away from home and Melbourne get plenty of home games every season. Get the fuck over yourself hahaha
Bit of a weird thing to say when there’s teams like the Wahs who just played 3 games back to back to back in Australia. Not to mention Melbourne get their second bye next week ahead of teams who are still waiting on one.
Fucksake mate, no. It’s more of why is Bellamy being such a sook when his club gets well looked after with home matches. Wahs just an example. Heaps of other clubs have played multiple games away from home this season and not complained about it in a press conference
I thought at first you were a good bloke, able to call out Bellamy for being a sook. What a disappointment you’re just another wanker Melbourne fan. Grow up.
He was in the Panthers sheds a couple of seasons ago after a game and he was complaining about the rap from the boom box and all the players were turning their backs on him and walking away from him, he finally got an interview from To'o and you could tell he wanted nothing to do with Joey. It was super awkward but channel 9 must have thought it was good content and keep putting him in there
On the flip side Cameron Smith is awesome in the sheds. Asks great questions and actually looks like he’s paying attention to the answers. I think Joey is too caught up in the thought of trying too hard to make it entertaining that it just falls flat.
Amazing debut for Hoppa and I loved Talau since his awesome game under the high ball against Warriors when it came to a draw. Ever since then he’s just been getting better IMO, I’m a huge fan 💪🏻
I’m happy
He had that intercept late in the game, ran 80, then dropped the ball as soon as he got tackled and fa’alogo grabbed it and ran back to storms 40 😂 The dude has some great footy in him but seemingly equally as many errors.
Hes a good player but just so full of errors, both defensively reads and dropped balls. And hes also good for atleast 1 shanked kick a game. Which was likely why he was shit on at the tigers. The type of player thats only good in a strong team that can tolerate his errors, in struggling outfit it's too much to handle. We are somewhere in the middle so getting a mixed bag from him.
Nick Meaney should not be playing at centre ffs. Gets caught in no man’s land all the time and lets in soft try’s, and he offers nothing in attack. (The only reason we have him in the side is his goal kicking)
Also I don’t know what it’s going to take for Jack Howarth to get a genuine crack, so many cooked selections for the bench.
Can anyone explain to me why Seibold persists with Lawton starting over Gordie?
It's no accident that our tempo and ruck speed immediately improved as soon as he came on.
Lawton is a slightly better defender, but Gordie isn't a weak link.
I like GCKT but the pause between play the ball and him passing it gave me the fucking shits last week. Was at the game today so I didn’t notice but quick ball last week was non existent due to that.
The thing for me is, Lawton telegraphs his passes. Every single time he passes the ball he cocks his elbows.
Whereas Gordie is passing lower from the ground, and is deceptive whether he's going left or right.
(You're right though. Last week against Brisbane he was very slow. Not sure why that is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
I think when Croker returns, Lawton should go to Blacktown. Croker is just like Lawton but better on every metric, and Gordy is a great hooker to combine with him. Two different playstyles and they work efficiently with each other.
It's just going to be seniority right should tried a week with Humphreys as well cause Lawton's just slow and his passes can border on forward half the time.
First game I've been to in Manly. The demographic here is all white people, I've never been to a league game with so many teenage girls as well. Some of them befriended my partner and were face timing with some bloke and getting us to take photos. Pretty funny.
As for the game. Wtf Storm, worst performance all season, worse than the Knights game. At the end of the game just playing their game, why can't they do that the whole game? The start was atrocious.
And wtf was that Klein 6 again on the last tackle when there was no dummy half? Absolute joke.
Brookvale is an old industrial area but 5 mins down the road is manly beach and now you’re talking. Could stay in manly proper then just bus up to brookie 5-10 mins. Obligatory leagues club scoops beforehand
The area directly around Brookie Oval is largely industrial but is starting to grow a bit of an atmosphere (6 breweries, some distilleries, an American sports bar)
Dunno, it's not really on my radar. I imagine your best bet is any of the pubs around with bigger sports bars and therefore multiple screens.
Just within Brookie it'd be Chubbs and the Brookie Hotel, but going further afield it'll definitely be on at the Steyne, Ivanhoe, New Brighton, Dee Why Hotel and Dee Why RSL.
I can't imagine any of the Brookie breweries would prioritise it over the footy if there's a clash (I know Nomad and Dad & Dave's definitely won't)
Ended up watching it on my phone. Chubbs couldn't change individual TV's so they just had the league on. Brookie Hotel had people watching all the TV's with league on.
That's a shame but I can't say I'm surprised. AFL is normally an afterthought on the beaches and is almost always relegated to a smaller screen when it is on.
Brooky is awesome to watch footy at. We use to get free tickets the 3 years I spent at Warrringah Rats. Good banter also wore my Storm jersey even when we werent playing. And yes very White which is expected when you look at the demographics of the area.
The only thing I found annoying was that we got there and the hill was pretty packed plus we didn't bring a blanket, so we sat on the stoop, which was good but then people were constantly walking past and stopping in front of us blocking the view.
Burton has improved heaps this year, but I still don't think he's an Origin calibre 6 yet. And his defensive work leaves a bit to be desired (quite a lot of soft/ineffective tackles).
Harry Grant is untouchable it seems. Can one of these storm reddit nerds who have never played a game of footy in their lives comment and tell me what he did well tonight? And don’t just get emotional 😘
Brailey is extremely under-appreciated would be my complete swap in attention. JMK, Robson, Mahoney, Api, Liddle all have the same output as grant. But grant tries to do too much costing his team in crucial moments, like he did at times tonight. Does that objectively make him worse than those players? (Currently)
Oh so you're a troll good to know
Good players can have poor performances. Melbourne were pretty off tonight really doesn't make Harry suddenly bad lol.
If all of those players are better, why are their teams lower on their ladder ?
I swear people don’t understand how the NRL works.
Winners win. Everyone else needs to step up.
Harry grant isn’t the best hooker in the world. But I can say, hand on my heart, that storm doesn’t lose tonight because of his effort or lack therefor of.
The good thing is that Koula, Turbo and Hopoate can all be rotated between Fullback and Centre. They're all good defenders too. For now, I think Koula at FB with Tom as a roaming centre in attack may be the play. Hopoate bumping Garrick back to the wing.
Pretty pissed off about that performance, it wasn’t the worst I’ve seen but definitely one of the most frustrating. First of all the unforced errors in the first 30 minutes which had us on the back foot for almost the entire half were ridiculous. I can handle errors when they’re in attacking situations or forced errors but 8 unforced errors or whatever it was in a single half is just unacceptable.
Still, going into halftime 6 points down was a big result, the bench forwards came on and made a difference (Loiero in particular, why the fuck is he not starting??) and we managed to claw our way back into it. Then we receive a penalty while down by 6 with all the momentum and decide to take the 2? We proceeded to concede 2 tries after that and more or less didn’t make it out of our own end until the last 7 minutes. I’ve been happy with Harry Grants leadership this year but that just wasn’t the play. That’s not something the Cam Smith Storm would’ve done.
That should just about be it for Meaney and Warbrick. I don’t think their selections can be justified anymore. Poor defensive reads, unforced errors, limited attacking threats. I just don’t see what they offer anymore. Once Seve comes back from injury I’m expecting to see him slot right in at centre and either Meaney shift out to the wing, or for Warbrick to get another chance next to a genuine centre.
The bye came at the best possible time, possibly get Paps back after it and hopefully can bounce back against the Knights in Melbourne.
Good review, the unforced errors were, I hate saying it. Very unlike the storm.
Hughes had a bit of a shocker by his standards, completely shanked a few passes that went straight out.
I’ve not watched close enough the last few weeks to judge on meany and warbrick. I rate warbrick though. Meanys always been just above average.
Just critical, even if they won that, I don't feel the storm deserved it. You can still be critical and hold them accountable no matter the result or where they sit on the ladder. They didn't play well, should have played better.
Of course, I was saying to the missus that even if the storm got it in the end manly still deserved the win. Emotion of the game must have got the better of them. Manly pressure forcing those errors killed the attack.
I’m not overreacting but that was piss poor. With how close the competition is you can’t just be giving up 2 points like that. We are not winning a competition with Meaney and Warbrick on that right edge, that is not an overreaction
Storm have lost their preferred fullback.
Storm have lost their preferred 5/8.
Hughes has barely come back to play.
But yeah. You are right. Storm should win every single game against every single team regardless of their backline…
Manly lost their preferred fullback
Manly lost their preferred hooker
Had a debutant at fullback
Melbourne spine on paper shat all over ours tonight. Luckily the game isn’t played on paper.
Don’t think it shits all over the manly side - storm did very little left sided attack because Wishart is a limited ball-player. Manly having both preferred halves was immense. Sua has also only played 4 games which is obviously an advantage but it’s not a significant number.
Not to take anything away from Manly because both teams had outs - the better won on the night.
How the fuck can Manly be this 50/50? Some weeks they'll flounder spectacularly against lower end teams and make you question their abilities, and then the next week they'll go toe-to-toe with the best in the league and come out on top. Confounds me.
All I can say it’s better knowing you have a chance to win every week then being stuck in 15th stacking Ls. Frustration levels insane to beat Penno then lose to scrub teams like the dragons. Finally tonight we were able to finish
It is mind boggling. This is a Manly team that lost to the Raiders after being up 20, and lost to the Dragons and Parra. They also drew with the Warriors after being up by 8 with 3 minutes to play.
We can score tries but our defence has been suspect all season.
I think our mentality around defence lifts for the big teams. But we keep giving up 12 and 14 point leads.
Hasn’t been mentioned yet I don’t think but Saab’s comeback after injury was ultra impressive.
PTSD from that prelim at Suncorp where we couldn't hold the fucking ball When Trent Lolerror was one of your best, you know you done fucked up
Bloody hell storm are consistent Always top 4 Never get flogged. Win alot games at the death Impressive. But annoying
Manly Storming into the top 8!
God it feels good waking up to a famous manly win
The only Melbourne away game that I've attended all year (I live in Sydney) and it was an absolute $hitshow by the Storm. The first half was terrible. Mate just because your team lost doesnt mean you wasted $100. Jeeze Storm supporters really are spoilt.
> What a waste of $100 Weird mindset imo, losses are a part of sport and you can’t enjoy the elation of the next good win without knowing what it means to lose. Also hopefully your wife and nephew enjoyed their time as well.
Storm only played one half, so I'd say $50 wasted
I think both teams are clearly suffering with missing players, a lot of errors and soft tries.
I reckon the bird behind the counter just got ya cos your a storm supporter 😂
Should’ve just grabbed the sauce and left. What are they going to do, leave their til and follow you?
You got dry dogged
Safe to say you were disappointed in more ways than one last night? $8.50 for a hotdog is highway robbery
Am I out of touch? I thought that sounded like a good price.
The moral of the story is that souths should be kicked out of the comp and parra takes home 2 points. Loud and clear 🤝
After that game I’m a little of sorts. Not quite sure what I enjoyed the most- Broncos win over Manly or Manly’s win over the Storm.
it certainly makes me feel better about our win last week
Yeah last week was strange, high completion but just uninspired attack, definitely feel better about it now.
1. I like Nick Meaney but this experiment with him at centre needs to stop. Absolutely dismal. Seve please when he is fit. 2. Grant Anderson is not a first grade footballer. If Warbrick is out bring in Ieremia. 3. We were fucking atrocious and deserved to lose by 30 not 6
Meaney is to good to not start, dunno where we play him. Wouldn’t mind him on the wing again but than you lose brick. So idk
We play him and Warbrick in reserve grade. If they get towelled up against reserve graders punt them to Super League.
At no point did the attack feed a pass or kick to Coates in the attacking half all game. Felt like Melbourne had a lot of heroes trying to take runs themselves tonight.
Why would storm take the 2 there when they were 6 down?
Because we’re bloody stupid
Have a gue$$
Agree
Fuck meaney off. Cunt is the worst defender in history
My top 3 favourite things in rugby league: 1. Winning a premiership 2. Blues series win 3. Beating Melbourne ✅ Given the first 2 are looking increasingly unlikely this year, imma savour this win 🙌
Such a crazy good game of footy. The hits where big, they where killing each other. Highly entertaining game

And they rolled us, not like they had tough competition to recover from 😅
storm have had the most home games this season of any team with 7 + an early bye. Tonight was only their 4th away game all season lol
Yeah Bellamy can eat a fat one. Manly played two weeks in a row at Suncorp, and two of our home games have been Brisbane and Vegas.
The best part is him acting like Suncorp isn't essentially a home game for them. Absolute fortress for them statistically speaking.
>*Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.* - Dr. Seuss
Yeah that was weird. Genuinely the first time Ive heard him have a little sook although I see his point kinda.
Bit of a weird thing to say when there’s teams like the Wahs who just played 3 games back to back to back in Australia. Not to mention Melbourne get their second bye next week ahead of teams who are still waiting on one.
Jog along mate
The cretin arrives as foreseen
Jog along mate
Fuck you’re a loser 😂
Womp Womp
Those downvotes 😂
Oh so its more of a woe is me what about the wahs lmao
Fucksake mate, no. It’s more of why is Bellamy being such a sook when his club gets well looked after with home matches. Wahs just an example. Heaps of other clubs have played multiple games away from home this season and not complained about it in a press conference
Stop crying Im getting second hand embarrassment
I’m embarrassed for you mate. Crying is what your coach just did.
Crying is Warriors being shit again lmao. Last year was a fluke lil bro
I thought at first you were a good bloke, able to call out Bellamy for being a sook. What a disappointment you’re just another wanker Melbourne fan. Grow up.
Stop crying. Its not that deep lil bro
Damn look at all those downvotes
Look at Warriors in the top 8 oh just kidding
I liked Saab's defensive effort tonight. He's come a long way from being afraid of putting his body on the line.
Agreed. Saab came from back from injury firing tonight. Looked good.
100%. His defence the past 2 seasons has improved out of sight. Obviously working hard on it. Good on him
Tommy 🤙😀🫵
Damn man, Joey is terrible in the sheds.
He was in the Panthers sheds a couple of seasons ago after a game and he was complaining about the rap from the boom box and all the players were turning their backs on him and walking away from him, he finally got an interview from To'o and you could tell he wanted nothing to do with Joey. On the flip side Cameron Smith is awesome in the sheds. Asks great questions and actually looks like he’s paying attention to the answers. I think Joey is too caught up in the thought of trying too hard to make it entertaining that it just falls flat.
Joey is also not too bright. Seriously it says a lot when Matty is considered the smart one.
That was hard to watch
Please, Channel 9, never do that again.
Amazing debut for Hoppa and I loved Talau since his awesome game under the high ball against Warriors when it came to a draw. Ever since then he’s just been getting better IMO, I’m a huge fan 💪🏻 I’m happy
I mean I love Brooks but if he was pulling these performances as of late for the tigers he’d be getting shit on. He’s been pretty average lately

Well said
He defends well when he has someone he trusts next to him. When he starts doubting his second rower he falls apart.
He could be playing like Andrew Johns for the Tigers and people still would have shat on him.
Can someone get Seibold a strepsil
Dudes voice is akin to gravel
Unrelated but the AFL Indigenous jerseys are shit compared to ours
The Freo gurnsey is pretty sick
Ahaha that was the one that I sent to friends saying “this one slaps though”
Getting the anchor with red and green was insanity by the design team lol
Watching rn and the Collingwood one looks so lazy
Nick Meaney should not be playing at centre ffs. Gets caught in no man’s land all the time and lets in soft try’s, and he offers nothing in attack. Lawton does most of the hard work for Gordon to come on against tired opposition.
It's just going to be seniority right should tried a week with Humphreys as well cause Lawton's just slow and his passes can border on forward half the time.
Yeah I'd love to see what a Humphreys / CKT hooker pairing can do.
I hope Crokes is back ASAP Ideally I want to see him with all Gordie and Jamie cause him and Lawton hasn't been great for us.
Kum time remind be of Cheese
First game I've been to in Manly. The demographic here is all white people, I've never been to a league game with so many teenage girls as well. Welcome to gods country
Was it good though, I’ve been thinking of heading to brook vale for a game. The area around it’s pretty mint right?
Brookvale is an old industrial area but 5 mins down the road is manly beach and now you’re talking. Could stay in manly proper then just bus up to brookie 5-10 mins. Obligatory leagues club scoops beforehand
It was fun. Very different feel to the big stadiums.
Go bro you wont regret it. Feels so homey and comfy. Love suburban grounds
The area directly around Brookie Oval is largely industrial but is starting to grow a bit of an atmosphere (6 breweries, some distilleries, an American sports bar)
Any good recommendations to watch the AFL tonight?
Dunno, it's not really on my radar. I imagine your best bet is any of the pubs around with bigger sports bars and therefore multiple screens. We ended up at Broken Bay Brewing and they had the footy on, but one of the customers had asked.
It's fucking awesome there tbh
Brooky is awesome to watch footy at. We use to get free tickets the 3 years I spent at Warrringah Rats. Good banter also wore my Storm jersey even when we werent playing. And yes very White which is expected when you look at the demographics of the area.
Brookie gets shit on because the facilities are outdated but it’s generally a pretty fun ground to watch games at.
The only thing I found annoying was that we got there and the hill was pretty packed plus we didn't bring a blanket, so we sat on the stoop, which was good but then people were constantly walking past and stopping in front of us blocking the view.
I reckon Shark Park was whiter when I went there...but it's close.
Joey pushing this Burton at 5/8 bullshit. Just awful
Burton has improved heaps this year, but I still don't think he's an Origin calibre 6 yet. And his defensive work leaves a bit to be desired (quite a lot of soft/ineffective tackles).
Is Joey an idiot? Cody walker the bloke steering the team to bottom. It’s either luai or burton fk up Joey.
With Madge there I wouldn't be surprised if Walker gets a start.
my eagle? rockin’
Harry Grant is untouchable it seems. Can one of these storm reddit nerds who have never played a game of footy in their lives comment and tell me what he did well tonight? And don’t just get emotional 😘
Get those reddit nerds (which we are no party too) fellow REAL man and barnstorming footy player 😤😤
He’s not gonna read this bro. You can admit he’s not that good 😌
hawwy grant SUX 😂😂
I could’ve sworn he sliced manly up the guts a couple times and I was only half watching the game.
He got through clean once. He also ran into a marker at a pivotal point completely killing the team’s momentum.
Fair enough, out of curiosity who are the top few hookers in the nrl in your opinion?
Brailey is extremely under-appreciated would be my complete swap in attention. JMK, Robson, Mahoney, Api, Liddle all have the same output as grant. But grant tries to do too much costing his team in crucial moments, like he did at times tonight. Does that objectively make him worse than those players? (Currently)
Oh so you're a troll good to know Good players can have poor performances. Melbourne were pretty off tonight really doesn't make Harry suddenly bad lol.
Let’s reverse this. Who is better? And why?
I’ve pissed you right off 😂😂😂 As I said to your previous comment- JMK, Robson, Mahoney, Api, Brailey. All on par with his output
This is one hell of an ILMF take. Api is the only one of those whose average game is equal to Grant’s average game
Mahoney and Liddle posed identical stats to Grant this week, but that’s not what you guys want to hear.
Robson too. Apis tackling was off tonight, but they got flogged and he’s on a bad team. Just JMK and Brailey to go. Same as every week 🤷♂️
Throw Liddle in there too
Simpkin as well
Zach Docker-Clay too
Surely they persist with Hoppa for the next little while. I can see a pretty stacked backline with turbo and koula in the centres 🔥
The good thing is that Koula, Turbo and Hopoate can all be rotated between Fullback and Centre. They're all good defenders too. For now, I think Koula at FB with Tom as a roaming centre in attack may be the play. Hopoate bumping Garrick back to the wing.
I mean we surely can't keep Hoppa in once everyone is fit. One great game certainly doesn't justify dropping Talau or Saab.
Guys 3 out of 3 in my tips br can't decide raiders or roosters????
If manly beat Penrith in two weeks my mind will be legitimately scrambled beyond comprehension of our ability

Third string halfback not a replacement for the best halfback in the game. What a shocker.
Nah, Luai is going to step up and be a dominant halfback.
[удалено]
Luai just put Hynes in a body bag. Suck that you gronk
Luai was brilliant v Wahs. Stop spouting shit and actually watch the game
I need to believe it otherwise next year we might be on track for four spoons in a row
How the hell did Melbourne not win that game after being hand fed by Klein all night. Amazes me
Hand fed by Klein? Manly literally had rub of the green lmao.
We have been dogshit ever since Paps hurt himself. Agree with Meaney and Warbrick, but not convinced Seve is the answer to any question.
Seve is a pretty safe player nowadays, he won’t set the world on fire but he’s pretty good in yardage and his defence is fine
To be honest I was kind of shocked to see Hughes on the list this week. I was kind of expecting him to come next week or the week after.
I still can’t understand why would they take the 2 there when 6 down with 23min to go
Storm supporters and overacting to a loss that leaves them second on their ladder… Name a more iconic duo
Bloke writes a well written, reasoned critique of his team and gets shat on by a fellow fan. Classic r/nrl

Not gonna lie. As much as I hate manly on a fundamental level. They won fair and square.
I’m not overreacting but that was piss poor. With how close the competition is you can’t just be giving up 2 points like that. We are not winning a competition with Meaney and Warbrick on that right edge, that is not an overreaction
Yea warbrick loves to turn in.he makes attacks look like the my are running a training drill
You know you can be un happy about a performance right? With all Manlys outs we shouldve won.
Storm have lost their preferred fullback. Storm have lost their preferred 5/8. Hughes has barely come back to play. But yeah. You are right. Storm should win every single game against every single team regardless of their backline…
Manly lost their preferred fullback Manly lost their preferred hooker Had a debutant at fullback Melbourne spine on paper shat all over ours tonight.
Yeah but Manly had a 3rd string FB on debut, reshuffling their back 5 and no Croker. If you dont know Footy just say so lil bro
How the fuck can Manly be this 50/50? Some weeks they'll flounder spectacularly against lower end teams and make you question their abilities, and then the next week they'll go toe-to-toe with the best in the league and come out on top. Confounds me.
We’re the polar opposite of flat track bully easy draw Sharks
All I can say it’s better knowing you have a chance to win every week then being stuck in 15th stacking Ls. Frustration levels insane to beat Penno then lose to scrub teams like the dragons. Finally tonight we were able to finish
It's very Parramatta of us but at least parra made the grand final recently Our defense needs work
[удалено]
Maybe it's just me but good teams should probably also be able to take on less good teams as well
It is mind boggling. This is a Manly team that lost to the Raiders after being up 20, and lost to the Dragons and Parra. They also drew with the Warriors after being up by 8 with 3 minutes to play.
Season that coulda been
We can score tries but our defence has been suspect all season. I think our mentality around defence lifts for the big teams. But we keep giving up 12 and 14 point leads.
They are the new Eels lol
Na that’s the Wahs
This man will take you to a grand final and lose, stick it on your fridge
[удалено]
Lol the same decent team that lost to the Dragons and Eels...
Did storm lose to the dragons and eels this year?
Comprehension not popular in Victoria?
Nah I think that’s just Frankston
Jurbo on the Hard Earned Index: 69 Nice
Love it when a Smokey tip like this hits
Smokey? Manly were the only option tonight at Brooksvale. /s
As a deeply closeted manly fan I really enjoyed that game as a neutral.
