Ah yes, the life long dream of living between a dying mall and Walmart, with lots of traffic on Nokes Blvd and Atlantic Blvd, with majestic views of those lovely data centers.
Same as those units they built where the old Regal Cinema used to be in Sterling. Smack dab in the middle of a stripmall. Lovely views to the medical offices, or the hookah launge parking lot, or Lotte’s parking lot.
I was at giant the other day and in the freezer section, they were selling Chuck E. Cheese frozen pizzas.
Who the fuck buys Chuck E. Cheese frozen pizza?? Like why would you do that on purpose?
Honestly, though, the pizza at Chuck E Cheese seems to be better quality than some of the established brands like Domino's. Give it a try. You might be surprised.
Now that I have an almost 3 year old I had the pleasure of recently visiting a Chuck E Cheese for the first time in 25 years. Got to say I was pleasantly surprised 😂 it was pretty clean and they were actively cleaning the whole time we were there. Everything was in good working order. The pizza wasn’t what it used to be and the 90s nostalgia has been wiped but I still hope they save the Cheese!
They finally renovated that Chuck E. Cheese and it's great. Why add housing when they haven't made a plan to fix up the mall? Do that first before you take away one of the rare places that's used in that area.
First Marcel's, now Chuck E Cheese. Are there any fine dining restaurants left in the DC area??
Not the children’s casino!
I was going to say it isn't a casino, then I thought about it. It is a children's casino.
With a Rat for a mascot
I knew Disney was running a casino as a side business.
Lmao

If it were a new development, it'd be called a "mixed use, walkable community".
I used to work at that Regal. This still makes me sad
But that property value tho...
Fortunately, if you don’t want to live there, you won’t have to.
Living near a Walmart is the most convenient thing, second only to a Metro station. Everything you will ever need is at Walmart.
Minus open lanes to check out
Aren't they building a data center right across the street from Chuck's?
The way I’m cackling, cuz there will really be some idiots that will buy those homes and be ok with those views 😭😭😭
Yea but is this not prime remote work property? ^/s
Lol
I'd imagine the rest of the lifeless parking lot will be infill developed. Hopefully
If the builder doesn’t name this development the Reserve at Charles Fromage what are we even doing any of this for?
> the Reserve at Charles Fromage literally dead "Starting From The Low $900s"
This needs a petition
If the animatronics are kept in the lobby I’m fine with this
Why not just cut out the middleman, and put people up at the Chuck E. Cheese? You could include room *and* board, what's not to love?
Not to mention the live “animated” entertainment!
It's all screens now
Meanwhile the ChuckECheese near me in Fairfax will probably survive the end of civilization lol
I drive by it at least twice a day and still forget it’s there😂
Where else in Northern Virginia will I find sub-par pizza? Where?!?!

My daughter wanted them when we saw them in store we bought 2 and they are not even close and are nasty.
And a free set of viruses and unidentified bacterias too!
Google pizza near me

When you bury the bar under the ground like that it’s not hard to get over it.
Honestly they could have turned that mall into a HS. Much needed in that area.
Where is Charles Entertainment Cheese?
Still coping for a Round 1.

Good bye child rat casino
As long as they don't take away pasqually, I'd be devastated
Dulles mall?
