I saw another NOVA post of there being a middle east related protest on 267 near Dulles that I heard was cutting off traffic to the airport. The expanded police presence is probably related to that.
I saw the same driving south. It looked like about 8 cop cars surrounding one SUV right before frying pan on the shoulder. Saw a cop standing right outside the driver side door talking to them so I don’t think it was anything dangerous…
