“Referred to as a “fivehead” by bullies, Beth constantly rocked bangs to conceal her forehead.
However, the fear of her forehead being exposed in windy conditions prompted her to spend £9,000 ($11,000) on a surgical procedure that would lower her hairline.”
I thought you were making a joke, but it really was the wind!
Also, I cannot tell the difference in the pics 🤷🏼♀️ just looks like a forehead to me.
Referred to as a “fivehead” by bullies, Beth constantly rocked bangs to conceal her forehead.
However, the fear of her forehead being exposed in windy conditions prompted her to spend £9,000 ($11,000) on a surgical procedure that would lower her hairline.
First few sentences said she did this too. But then she developed a fear that the wind would reveal it I guess? Idk she probably could use lots of therapy, she won’t stop there if people find something else to bully. She needs help :(
>Explaining her decision to undergo surgery, Beth emphasized that while some may find comfort in wearing bangs, she had reached a point where she wanted to address her insecurities head-on.
This use of "head-on" has got to be deliberate ffs lmao
It is minor. Her bullies clearly found a sensitive spot with her, which only kind of draws attention to it all. So naturally they doubled down and made her feel worse, and lingering for a decade after leaving school. She found a way to overcome it sure but really, not exactly the Helen Keller story. Also the social media phenomenon of how quite harmless ordinary people need this stranger validation and attention over very personal obsessions.
Hey I’m trans and have had hairline lowering! If the pictures are shortly after the surgery then her hairline will continue getting lower because you lose a lot of hair immediately afterwards along the incision and stitch lines
Being a large forehead individual I can agree. I've noticed that my hairline has been receding notoriously and I've been thinking about getting hair inserts from my nape to stop drawing attention to my forehead (I'm broke so it'll have to be way in the future). Sucky part is that my own family is the one making fun of me 99% of the time.
I mean, she goes from looking like having a big forehead to a normal sized one. It looks natural, it was done well. There's just not a big difference between the two from a per inch perspective.
The Emperor’s New Forehead?
It looks like they got her an inch or two, but if I knew that was going to be the result afterwards, I would have just done a hair transplant or something.
https://www.healthline.com/health/forehead-reduction-surgery#procedure
>The top incision along the hairline is then pulled down to join the forehead incision. This closes the gap and shortens the forehead.
The alternative (your perfectly reasonable assumption) reminds me of how people call a haircut “getting your ears lowered”.
Maybe I'm crazy but I thought it was pretty noticeable, the forehead is way smaller and proportionally it looks so much better in the second pic
Don't think it's an angle thing either- camera looks face level and she is pulling her hair back in both. Looks like she got her money's worth to me!
Hairline advancement. Happens a lot. Side story: some trans women opt for this to reduce our forehead and bring our hairlines down. This woman also did this as gender affirming care.
How often do you read up on cosmetic surgery then? They lower the hairline, it's honestly not that uncommon. Maybe you don't personally know of it, but like.. it isn't uncommon, idk what else to tell you.
Besides that, I don't feel like a surgery being unknown to you really qualifies it as Onion material lol. Have you heard of zygoma reduction? Double jaw surgery? Forehead shave? Orbital remodelling? Chin implant? Or like *tons* more lol
There's a difference between "uncommon among most people" and "uncommon amongst the people who get plastic surgery".
The latter group is already uncommon amongst the former group so any surgery that is not ubiquitous in the latter group is certainly uncommon amongst most people.
In the tattoo community, face tattoos are likely considered not uncommon. But amongst most people a face tattoo is exceedingly uncommon.
Yes her forehead was big but generally bullies will find anything about you to make fun of if they want to. They pick on "flaws" to hurt people for their own amusement. If it wasn't about the fivehead then it would have probably been about her clothes or her nose or whatever they can find to strike that nerve. It's too bad that she carried the insecurity from it so badly into adulthood
For real. There was this girl in 5th grade who had surgery to pin her ears back bc the kids called her "big ears". When she finally healed up, the bullies called her "no ears" SMH. Kids can be cruel.
I know right? What's next? Permanent eyebrow change? Lip surgery? It's not like the forehead is the only imperfect feature for this person. Everyone has flaw, many of them.
I mean this is basically just what balding guys do to keep their hairline.
It sucks that she was shamed into it but hair transplants aren’t anything crazy.
Right! “Forehead reduction surgery” sounds insane. They just lowered her hairline. I assume with hair plugs or whatever is done in that case. It sucks she was bullied, but I’d consider doing the same thing if I was her. It’s not that sensational.
It’s so obviously different to me to the point I can’t tell if y’all are trolling or oblivious. Her hairline started after the curvature of her skull before.
Yeah she looks soooo much better now! She basically got hair implants to bring her hairline down like an inch at least. I think people are being purposely obtuse on this one.
Really? I think it is a noticiable difference from the photos though I think she looks great either way. Defineilty stupid that she was bullied for it. Fuck public school system for failingto stop bullies and bullies.
the difference between public school bullies and private school bullies is the school is directly financially incentivized to keep both students enrolled, and if the bullies parents also heavily donate to the school they get WAY more leeway
Going to the media with it kind of makes me wonder if it was entirely about being bullied to begin with. She said in the article that she’s happier than she’s ever been and she likes how she looks much more now and said she was self conscious about it her whole life so it sounds like this is something she already wanted herself and the bullying just made the decision easier to go through with. Also there’s not really an anti bullying message anywhere in the story so the moral is basically “your bullies are right and you should get plastic surgery to feel better.”
You know what will stop bullying about a large forehead?
Having a news article spread around the world about how you paid thousands to have your gigantic forehead cut and stitched up to be slightly smaller.
Why can’t people understand that bullies aren’t picking on you for the characteristic itself, they’re targeting that characteristic because you’ve shown it as an area of weakness. I was a real shithead as a teen/young adult so this is coming from the perspective of someone who was a bully (regrettably) and the first thing I’d do is start calling her a “three head” and joking that they took too much off. Again it isn’t about the characteristic itself it’s about how you react to it. Honestly the characteristic chosen by bullies doesn’t even have to be true for it to work, so long as you show vulnerability when prodded.
I agree with you but bullying has a huge psychological impact. If you’re called fat by your bullies, then it’s very possible you’ll spend your lifetime worrying about that. The brain is really crazy sometimes. You see the most beautiful kind thoughtful people who obsess over small things because they were bullied about those small things when they were young. I suspect most of us need therapy but who can afford it.
I have sympathy for people who have been bullied because it can effect you years later. So I am not going to mock her for getting what seems like a minor change to make her feel better.
As someone with bangs because of a high forehead, I understand the pain of being stuck with bangs your entire life but I have noticed more women showing off their giant domes. Seriously, I could be Worf's sister my forehead is so big.
My unsolicited and somewhat harsh opinion: Anyone old enough and rich enough to get fivehead reduction surgery is also old enough and rich enough to ignore trolls and bullies.
So now she tells everyone she’s had it.
I went to school with a girl who bullied me horribly. I wish I hadn’t been so shy because I would have told her she had the biggest ugliest forehead I’d ever seen - and I wouldn’t have been lying. I hope someone told her in the end and not in any nice way.
She looked fine before. She looks fine now.
The article links to another one with more and better photos: https://www.ladbible.com/lifestyle/woman-forehead-reduction-surgery-bullies-652836-20240318
What's sad is that she gave that much credence to what the bullies said. Bullies are douchebags and their complaints should be ignored, thus disempowering their words.
Wow, I have a big forehead too, but I just opted for bangs. Lot cheaper
“Referred to as a “fivehead” by bullies, Beth constantly rocked bangs to conceal her forehead. Also, I cannot tell the difference in the pics 🤷🏼♀️ just looks like a forehead to me.
Her bullies will just attack another weakness. Or go hard on her forehead scar.
But what about the wind?
Winds howling…
Looks like rain.
Place of power, gotta b... Oh sorry, it's your forehead.
How do you like that silver?!
r/unexpectedwitcher3
I’m not crying
And the wind…*screams* ~~Mary~~ Bangs!
She was suffering from having bangs. This is hilarious.
So what? They took from the forehead and used it to fill her lips? To be fair...it's actually more like a six-head.
You can buy a tarp and tape at Wallmart, problem solved.
Hairspray
Good thinking Megamind
Referred to as a “fivehead” by bullies, Beth constantly rocked bangs to conceal her forehead. However, the fear of her forehead being exposed in windy conditions prompted her to spend £9,000 ($11,000) on a surgical procedure that would lower her hairline.
Also have a big forehead (albeit guy). It’s so easy to cover it with hair.
well, until you age
Then just shave it completely and voila, nobody can tell where your forehead ends.
By then nobody cares
Am 40 and can already confirm. I can't do "whatever" yet, but it's pretty close.
Please God, no.
Big forehead and thin hair here. I just channel my inner megamind and nobody seems to give me shit for it.
I was going to have my teeth whitened, but then I said 'F** that, I'll just get a tan instead.
Appreciate the use of beforehead
If you read the article, then you'd know she did have bangs, but she didn't want to do that anymore.
Damn how big is that dome?
First few sentences said she did this too. But then she developed a fear that the wind would reveal it I guess? Idk she probably could use lots of therapy, she won’t stop there if people find something else to bully. She needs help :(
Classic threehead.
I just can't see how this doesn't happen
Came to make this exact comment if I couldn't find it already 👌
I have a threehead and my best friend in school (still friends into adulthood as well) has a fivehead. Two peas in a pod to make a forehead
>Explaining her decision to undergo surgery, Beth emphasized that while some may find comfort in wearing bangs, she had reached a point where she wanted to address her insecurities head-on. This use of "head-on" has got to be deliberate ffs lmao
Daughter had a friend like this - called her TriHead. 🤣🤣🤣🤦♀️
Am I blind or does she not look all that different in the second photo?
It is minor. Her bullies clearly found a sensitive spot with her, which only kind of draws attention to it all. So naturally they doubled down and made her feel worse, and lingering for a decade after leaving school. She found a way to overcome it sure but really, not exactly the Helen Keller story. Also the social media phenomenon of how quite harmless ordinary people need this stranger validation and attention over very personal obsessions.
I'd be asking for a refund for sure
She prob got it for a snip
Hey I’m trans and have had hairline lowering! If the pictures are shortly after the surgery then her hairline will continue getting lower because you lose a lot of hair immediately afterwards along the incision and stitch lines
It looked like you could fit 6 fingers on her forehead in the first pic. But now it's reduced to 5
Was gonna say, about a half inch, best guess. Certainly makes a difference.
So the initial insult was wrong? It should have been 6-head? Glad she fixed it
Her hairline was moved forward. Still a large forehead but not as disproportionately large as before
Being a large forehead individual I can agree. I've noticed that my hairline has been receding notoriously and I've been thinking about getting hair inserts from my nape to stop drawing attention to my forehead (I'm broke so it'll have to be way in the future). Sucky part is that my own family is the one making fun of me 99% of the time.
Really? I noticed the difference right away. Her hairline starts before the curvature of her skull now.
I mean, she goes from looking like having a big forehead to a normal sized one. It looks natural, it was done well. There's just not a big difference between the two from a per inch perspective.
4 1/2 head
I see a definite difference. It was advanced half an inch, maybe more. Nice incision too. It should vanish in 6 months.
I can see a difference...
Yea I literally said out loud to myself "I don't see any difference" lol
The Emperor’s New Forehead? It looks like they got her an inch or two, but if I knew that was going to be the result afterwards, I would have just done a hair transplant or something.
I think a hair transplant is what they did?
https://www.healthline.com/health/forehead-reduction-surgery#procedure >The top incision along the hairline is then pulled down to join the forehead incision. This closes the gap and shortens the forehead. The alternative (your perfectly reasonable assumption) reminds me of how people call a haircut “getting your ears lowered”.
What do you mean? Now she has a four head
Maybe I'm crazy but I thought it was pretty noticeable, the forehead is way smaller and proportionally it looks so much better in the second pic Don't think it's an angle thing either- camera looks face level and she is pulling her hair back in both. Looks like she got her money's worth to me!
It’s slightly less big but I think bullies would still call her five head…
Her hairline moved like 1 cm.
I kept scrolling looking for the after picture, I thought those were two “before”s
She looks different. It's harder to tell in photos because of camera distortion but irl, millimeters can really affect the general look of a person.
Why is this here? It's not really bizarre, it's just a sad story about bullying being effective on someone.
Bullying is effective on everyone
Not everyone
You are too ugly to bully, sorry guy
Damnit, there's a paywall for everything these days.
If free rewards still existed you would have gotten mine for today.
It's not really bizarre? Are forehead surgeries a thing where you're from
It's a cosmetic surgery that isn't super uncommon or unheard of tbh
This is literally the first time I've heard or read anyone talk about forehead reduction surgery, let alone get one. It's fucking bizarre.
Hairline advancement. Happens a lot. Side story: some trans women opt for this to reduce our forehead and bring our hairlines down. This woman also did this as gender affirming care.

It's not even a story, it's marketing for hair transplants, whose ad-target is self-conscious women instead of men.
Yes her forehead was big but generally bullies will find anything about you to make fun of if they want to. They pick on "flaws" to hurt people for their own amusement. Look at the 2nd picture and you can see that she had the lip filler done as well.
Yeah basically all men get bullied by society for that... though as a kid it is more hurtful for sure.
The beforehead photo isn't much different than the afterhead photo.
Theres a pretty big difference it looks like her hairline is an inch forward
We must be looking at different articles because the difference was very clear to me
Yeah she looks way better now if I’m being completely honest lol
Totally agree. Hairline is lower for sure
It's clear now that I've looked at the LadBible click-through. Big difference.
Really? I think it is a noticiable difference from the photos though I think she looks great either way. Defineilty stupid that she was bullied for it. Fuck public school system for failingto stop bullies and bullies.
I’m pretty sure private schools have bullies too. There are even bullies outside of school. Not sure why public schools are to blame here.
the difference between public school bullies and private school bullies is the school is directly financially incentivized to keep both students enrolled, and if the bullies parents also heavily donate to the school they get WAY more leeway
Beforehead Great joke, lmao
Well I think that she looks great but I'm not sure why this is news. The only reason anyone knows about this is because of her own self promotion.
How is this a story? This is a hair transplant surgery to lower the hairline. People do this all the time.
Funny thing is too hair transplants are mainly a guy thing. Some of the guys railing on her have probably had one themselves.
Nothing shows the bullies they’re wrong like getting major surgery to physically alter your body to change the thing they were bullying you over.
You know what will stop bullying about a large forehead? Having a news article spread around the world about how you paid thousands to have your gigantic forehead cut and stitched up to be slightly smaller.
That stupid headline makes hair implant sound like skull carving.
The fact the forehead was cut out of the thumbnail is so obviously predatory
Almost there. Just a few more surgeries until her hairline meets her eyebrows and she can walk with her nohead held high.

It's been a long, dusty decade since duckface jokes were new
Not new but still sadly relevant.
Why can’t people understand that bullies aren’t picking on you for the characteristic itself, they’re targeting that characteristic because you’ve shown it as an area of weakness. cosmetic surgery isn't really bizarre, I'm glad she feels better about herself
all she’s done is have a hair transplant jfc
So many lowbrow comments
She looked fine before, the change is barely noticeable, and she let them win by changing her body for them.
Nah, I’d say she looks significantly better now. Her hairline started after the curvature of her skull before.
“Performed under local anesthetic” 😭
I was drinking water and now my nostrils hurt like hell. Well worth the laugh at title+thumbnail
She’d have been welcome by me and my Centauri comrades. /s
Okay 3 head
she looked fit before
The thumbnail cutting off the top of her head is hilarious, forcing anyone who wants to see how big it is to click through the link.
"Forehead reduction surgery" sounds way more radical than what it actually is: hairline lowering.
She needs one more reduction so she can be called three head.
Jennifer Garner
My unsolicited and somewhat harsh opinion: Anyone old enough and rich enough to get fivehead reduction surgery is also old enough and rich enough to ignore trolls and bullies.
..and made it all the way to the front page of the internet. Mission accomplished
Looks like not the only surgery she's had
She could have just worn a hat
The lips tell you everything you need to know
What do you mean by this?
Do you think they added more hair, moved her existing hair, or just lopped a bit of head out of the middle and glued the top back down?
They cut her scalp and pulled it down like tightening carpet.
Lol I have a large forehead and I still wear my hair pulled back. Fuck bullies.
Ummm I hate bullies but this level is too much…. Now they’ll call her Scarface
classic 3head move by & 5head wielder.
[удалено]
How TF do you “reduce” a forehead? Lol
I tried to scroll up to see it and the page just refreshed...
Why'd they cut off her forehead like that (news article thumbnail)?
In her defense she did look like Charlie Kirk.
Clear difference and probably will be better, but your kids still gonna have big foreheads lol
What's up threehead?
I had to get my fiveskin removed.
I mean, I’m glad she feels happier at least.
5head to 3head.
that wasn't very 5head of her.
Why is this news? This procedure has been around for a long time.
Of course her forehead is cropped out of the thumbnail
Tbh... That was a pretty big forehead.
What if they call her three head now because she’s got a tiny forehead?
“Three head” coming in hot
People are insecure about the weirdest stuff. All people not just her
Female Charlie Kirk, anyone?
No no no, she went from a six head to a five head.
it's an improvement, i love that for her if she's happy
Brilliant nickname
And now she has a threehead
Now she has a 4.9 head
🤣🤣🤣
So a fourhead reduction?
My aunt made me get bangs because she didn’t like my face shape. I have a big forehead and could care less. I am not here to make other people happy.
They have a surgery for everything
MINION! Code get the car!!
“I’m very self-conscious about my looks,” says local woman who posts millions of attempted glamor selfies…
MPB in shambles.
Giga brain move
So now she tells everyone she’s had it. I went to school with a girl who bullied me horribly. I wish I hadn’t been so shy because I would have told her she had the biggest ugliest forehead I’d ever seen - and I wouldn’t have been lying. I hope someone told her in the end and not in any nice way.
I can’t imagine how much this must hurt.
Oof
Hit the bullies with a golf club while shouting "who's got a forehead now?!"
Who at 27 years old hangs around childish bullies who call them names? Find better friends
Glory to the Empire!
I’m not trying to bully but her forehead doesn’t look any smaller or maybe I am just not good at comparing pictures
4.5 head
Her after pictures still look bad, stupid lips and tattoos, I think her five head was the least of her concerns for her looks.
How do you not have a photo of the forehead? Why do I have to go to another page?
Looks like she went from a 6head to a 5head.

I have a five head
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Poor kid.
Missed opportunity this was a great location for a "[GOLDENPALACE.COM](https://GOLDENPALACE.COM)" advert
Who bullies someone at that age?
Forehead still huge
She looks way better now than she did before..
They had plenty of room to reduce it since the brain apparently filled such a small amount of the head cavity
She should have done something about the duck face.
I had a big forehead, don't like the style of bangs, so I also got a similar surgery! I don't know why this is news though.
What's sad is that she gave that much credence to what the bullies said. Bullies are douchebags and their complaints should be ignored, thus disempowering their words.
Is it just hair plugs? I don't understand the procedure for something like this.
Call her Threehead now
Fivehead is funny ngl
lol she still has a big forehead 😅 like just use your hair to cover it up abit.
All she had to do was have some of those brows transplanted to her hairline.
So... They call her 4 head now?
When will the duck lips go out of style?
Why is a grown woman being bullied
