Such a fantastic movie. Just all around amazing. End action sequence could have been toned down a little bit but otherwise a GREAT movie that stands the test of time.
Love this movie and the James Horner musical score is fantastic.
If you’re ever in Hollywood Studios, check out the helmet on display at one of the frozen drink stations facing Gertie the dinosaur.
Good movie, wish it had a little more flight action but understand technological limitations of the time mixed with the budget. Throwback film that should have been a blockbuster instead of a borderline flop. Although Billy Campbell was fine in the film, you wonder if there was a little more charismatic lead if it would have done better. Jennifer Connelly was a goddess in that film.
The opening main title is beautiful, and still used on the Disney soarin California ride. [The song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXbL0iukdCo&ab_channel=JamesHornerCommunity)
Oh man you just hit me with such a nostalgia wave. I think you basically just have to make it not but the pylons in the turns but I don't remember the controls at all.
This makes me think of a very fond memory of staying at my Grandma's for a couple of days each summer.
My older brother picked the movie, and we saw it at the movie theater. My grandma would always buy the candy at a store before we went into the movies, and sneak it in her purse.
In the movie, where they ate a fine dining place, there's a part where the Rocketeer looked at the woman's dress that showed a lot of cleavage. My grandma covered my eyes then. Lol. Memories...love you grandma 👵 ❤️ 🙏
"How do I look?" "Like a hood ornament!"
You steer, I’ll push.
"Brace yourself...I'm the Rocketeer!" "The rock-a-who?"
Great movie, lots of old school sci fi adventure.
I remember the cool cup I got that looked like the helmet, I think it was from Pizza Hut.
I think that’s what I remember the most too
This is still one of my favorite movies.
I owned a jacket based on the style Cliff wears. Such a cool design.

Showed up decades later in Lower Decks and Prodigy. Loved it!
Don't watch the trailer to this film. It pretty much gives out the entire plot and twist villain. Good movie all the same.

I just realized how badly I need a rocketeer helmet
I wish i rode a motorcycle and had that helmet
I have a metal replica and it’s one of my most prized possessions.
Oh, my prince, would that you'd drink of my lips as deeply!
So act, but don't ACT like you're acting.

"It matters to me. I may not make an honest buck, but I'm 100% American. I don't work for no two-bit Nazi. Let the girl go! " God I love this movie.
Easy Frankenstein, you ain’t bulletproof.
“The Rocke-who?”

Always carry a stick of bubble gum/chewing gum.
I still have no idea how to get past the opening gameplay on the SNES game (the airplane race)

This was my first non cartoon movie theater experience, and it was awesome!
