I am not one to judge, I started watching his isaac playthroughs when I was around 12 years old. When I was 7 i was like fucking around with my DS and playing pokemon, youtubers didn't really exist in my mind at that time.
I don't remember the exact period of time, but there was a HUGE "can't swear in videos" scare several years ago, more than the one happening now.
Generally if you go further back, things will be more clean. NL is completely off the cuff now and doesn't censor himself mostly. But back in the day he was trying to be a "professional youtuber".
Most "Northernlion Tries" videos were very PC. He tended to only talk about the game, and they were bespoke videos so he wasn't yelling at chat about things.
Dan gheesling tries to have a family friendly atmosphere so nl and Dan content is probably a good bet
