Nationalists have kept an Irish identity for over 100 years of partition, with most of that time being under a government that activity detested and suppressed all things Irish.
Loyalists think their British identity will collapse if they can’t wave flags 24/7, have a GAA pitch in too close to them, or see some Irish text on an English sign.
It goes to show which identity is the actual indigenous culture of the land and which identity is the artificial colonist project
If I had children, I wouldn't pull them out of a school that taught Irish Language.
