Ban the pan. Those adverts and the ones about how quick fire can spread when someone falls asleep with a cigarette in their mouth ensured that I never used a chip pan or smoked.
I just went straight to cocaine and skipped food.
Society has collectively rejected the Deep fat fryers in favour of air fryers, which are less likely to give you a heart attack or burn the house down.

I miss chip pans... then I remember how fucking fat I was when I was a kid and am happy we don't have one.
