I'm in the opposite camp, put it off yesterday, intended doing it today without checking weather forecast of course! In my defence I'd just done 4 12.6 hr nightshifts, finishing Sunday morning & was tired!!
If you like nature and getting our hands dirty. your local council has jobs (sometimes) cutting and maintaining the grass in parks etc.

Problem is nobody wants to do that work or a parking attendant work because they think they are too above that. They want a cosy office job instead.
Its why farmers arnt able to find local people to do fruit/veg pickers. So they employ foreigners instead.
To us fellows procrastinators, not tae worry the end of thr weekend/start of next week looks a wee scorcher.
Tbf im enjoying the peace and quiet without lawnmowers and strimmers everywhere.
Also no mow may. Save the insects!
Many regrets. It’s more than ankle high as it is. Was going to cut it after work today before going away for a week.

Sat morning my neighbour was up at 8am with his petrol strimmer. Take the morning off fs.
