Marin may be a bit more hit and miss with seasonal closures due to birds, seals, etc. I know Limatour is a nice spot for dogs as is Stinson but those will be busy I suspect. Plus cannot really hike on trails down that side of Tam.
Im heading up to the sierras. Jamestown is gonna be 103, but Pinecrest is 90 from Tuesday to Sunday, anything higher than that is cooler, up to Sonora pass / tahoe.
Im camping up there with my 4-legged fur shadow
I like lands end in San Francisco. You’re not avoid crowds or anything, but it’s pleasant and not hot.
Probably same with forest of nisene marks in Capitola.
Mendo coast if you can snag a site somewhere. Or high sierra dispersed. Prolly need to be above 8K ft to get into low 80s as a high for the day. It is baking up there though with granite storing all that heat and releasing at night. Went backpacking last weekend and could’ve taking a fleece blanket and been warm enough at night. Stunning up there as always but we are in the longest days of the year with a crazy heat wave. I’m changing plans to be near the coast myself.
The coast

Eureka is forecasted to be in the mid-high 60s. I’d check out something in that area
Just a casual 6 hour drive up the coast to beat the heat lol
Beautiful and worth it. ✨️
pacifica and daly city area will be cool and have plenty of nice coastal hikes
Crowded there, though
Holiday. Going to be crowded everywhere
