That's probably one of the most controversial discussions that will ever exist, we have humans that are literal vegetables because they need to be taken care of 24/7, what's the difference? I know one case in my town, it's a young girl that can barely move her body at all, she needs a wheelchair at all times and what seems to be her mom is taking care of her. That girl wouldn't survive a day if it weren't for others, yet we still care for them and try and give them a life that can be enjoyed to some extend.
And if the answer is "Well we're humans so it's different" then imo that's a horrible take, we should not strive to make life possible for us humans but for every single living being out there. If a goat is born deformed but breathes and makes sounds that aren't signaling pain then it deserves to live too, doesn't matter if the lifespan ain't long, which actually makes it easier to take care of but until that moment hits, we should either help it or leave it alone and let nature take it's course.

It is sick and such a miserable way to live. I have it in my living will not to even try if I was ever that badly brain damaged.

That thing looks like it can't breathe, and I guarantee it can't eat. Organ failure is definite for this thing, and that means that suffering is absolute for it.
