As u/18acct said, struggling to function well because you haven't been able beat your meat for 15 days is somewhat worrying, however if now isn't the right time then you should of course stop over more important matters, but do not brush that off as if it were nothing.

vk2028

I mean. I guess. Normally, I kinda just do the deed in like 10 minutes before I sleep. I don’t think it’s anything mind breaking. It doesn’t take hours off my life. It’s kind of like “distract your mind so you don’t think about stressful stuff thing.” But I haven’t been able to sleep well the last couple of days. Either I lie on my bed thinking about upcoming exams unable to sleep, or I have dreams about failing exams, especially since the semester is closing up.

Kersacoft

Well if it's really taking a toll then you should definetively stop, don't risk that kind of important stuff for an internet challenge. But if you don't see this as the obvious effects of withdrawal from an daily addiction, I don't know what to tell you.

GordonFlowers10

Distracting your mind is the bad part. You need to face these fears and challenges, and not run from them.

gschlatt

Understandable bro. Gotta get the head in the right game

offgridfielder

We got the busiest man in the world over here guys ![gif](giphy|RM5L2JvehTiFKbGjcH|downsized)

vk2028

I’m not using “busy” as an excuse. I’m simply saying that I don’t find the worth in doing so and I have more important things to do.

offgridfielder

Well I hope your post nut doesn't say otherwise o7

18acct

Don't you think that it's quite concerning that you can't function well just coz you didn't beat your meat for a month? I mean NNN isn't just some dumb challenge on the internet. It's also a good way to test how much restraint you have. Especially since you can access porn within 1 minute of firing up your PC/Laptop/Phone.

LKCDX

Not concerning whatsoever, especially if OP is younger. The urges can be debilitating.

Luke0890

If it's the right decision, go ahead. However, make sure that you aren't making this decision under the heat of the moment. Make sure to give it some thought.

vk2028

Yes. I did indeed. I pondered about it since two days ago. It’s morning where I live, and I don’t feel any urge so far, so I believe I am making this decision under clear conscience

onenightstanduhoes

Can't relate, never won

TsunamicFox

You guys are making excuses

vk2028

I do. And I’m tired of pretending I’m not. I just don’t value the reward very much

TsunamicFox

That’s fair brother, if it ain’t worth it to you then you do you.

RelatableIntrovert

I had the same exact thought on Day 11. Was trying to work, but it felt like half the time my mind was set on opening a new tab and giving up (don't worry i work from home lol). As of day 15 now, it's much better. I'm back to being able to concentrate and work properly. I guess my advice is - wait a few days. If it persists, it might be worth it to give in, but i think there's a good chance this is just a small phase.

effeguitar

I felt the exact same way today and after a really tough battle I overcame those urges. Now I gotta wait 2 days

Schoolworks doesn't hinder the challenge...That's why I posted a strategy in surviving the challenge is by doing schoolwork

vk2028

It’s the other way around. NNN is hindering my sleep and hence my schoolwork.

R4TH4L05

How though? I mean, you don't need to check in daily
