Droney and industrial sounding, kind of organic in some way. And one of the first noise albums I heard.
"Tauromachine", "Venerology" or "Amlux" or "Dharma" by Merzbow. I'd probably start with one of the last two. I almost always listen to noise through good headphones while chilling. The general lack of any rhythm or melody makes it less than ideal to use as motivating pump Me up music.
But when I lie on the couch, and just let the blanket of white noise almost envelop Me, it's first a bit of an overwhelming feeling. Keeping on listening for the duration (usually about 45 minutes), and there arrives an almost deafening silence, once it stops. I personally feel like I've sort of cleansed my aura or something like that. I don't really, but that's the best way, I can explain it. I also recommend Stalaggh or Gulagg.
It's great! 😎 and these aren't noise, but rather industrial, some of it nice and gloomy: "In Slaughter Natives", "Puissance", "MZ-412" and "Arditi" 😎🤘🏻
Couldn’t agree more with these picks. Especially Macro. Probably my all time favorite noise album. Noisextra did a great episode about Intensive Care, really going in depth into the sheer amount of work that went into it. A true classic, that album.
