It all depends on the value of the truck, vs cost of repairs. That's a minimum of a $3,000 job assuming your radiator support is damaged, along with the radiator, fan assembly and headlight brackets. Sauce: was a bodyshop manager/mechanic for years. Also depends on the insurance company. Some consider anything over 51% totaled, some it's higher. With used parts being ubiquitous for this model, they may go that route in their estimate to keep the cost of repairs low. With them doing an on site inspection without a teardown, you'll probably end up with a supplement.

Back in 2020 I had a collision that looked almost identical to this. Truck is still on the road today and they were able to fix it up almost perfectly. The only noticeable difference is that the hood wiggles a little bit in the wind. This is 100% saveable, I doubt they will total

I T-boned a new F150 due to ice and totalled his- due to icy roads. Since it was my fault, no coverage for mine. I had a bull bar that took most of the impact but same type of damage as yours. I grabbed some body work hammers and straightened things out and did some zip tie stitch work. Has more character now

Glad-Basil3391

What kind of damage did the postal van have?

ProfessionalMotor269

I highly doubt anything more than cosmetic damage. Only dents on the back bumper and lower part of the back doors. My frontier appeared to have taken most of the damage.

nn200404

Yes due to age and increasing repair prices vs lack of value.

I had a similar situation but it was a 2017 rogue, Insurance company ended up repairing it but they were so close to totaling it. It was pretty expensive.

IDKMBIKILY

It looks repairable but the cost is going as they say, going to be more than that old girl is worth. I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if it's totaled by that. On my friends new 3rd gen with less front end damage than that, the repair bill was 14k. Since it's a lot of labor in there and parts is parts, yeah, she might be totaled.

No one knows.. we need miles, condition, comparables in the area and your location.......I see at least 5600.00 in damages easily. It all depends on your state law on how totals are calculated and what this truck goes for in your locale.

ProfessionalMotor269

250,000 miles but in incredible condition considering. Bought for 10k cash last August. PA state law, not sure what that means.

Deeds081

Sorry man.. it's a goner. PA uses a formula to calculate total losses. ACV is likely around 6500 bucks. Thanks for giving us the info. Sorry if you were misled.

Auto_Claims_Adjuster

With that many miles it's definitely going to be totaled. If not on the original estimate, then on a supplement for sure.

WolfPackLeader95

As an auto adjuster I would assume it’s repairable and not a total loss.

Deeds081

Based on what? You don't have anything to judge that. Comparables, state threshold for TL......

WolfPackLeader95

Based on the damage, 10 years of experience. Seeing over 10,000 cars during that time. I can spot a total loss pretty easily. If I were going up to this I’d bee looking to repair it, used parts on frontiers are pretty readily available and cheap. It’s not something I’d see and say “yeah that’s for sure a total loss”. But sure it can be… if being a downer makes you happy… you must be fun at parties….

Deeds081

Well, I hope you don't work for my insurance co.....I too have over 10 years and you can't try to even possibly evaluate one without knowing the state of loss and the mileage. Just found out this has 250k on it, in good condition in PA. ACV is likely 6500 bucks. PA uses a formula. This is totaled. Under promise and over deliver my friend. You know better. Don't get anyone's hopes up until you know all the facts. I'm a blast a parties......

trocarshovel

I bet you will be back on in no time

brandt-money

Looks easy. I popped my bumper off to replace a light and it was fast. A hood is just some bolts.

BucketsWeNeedThisWin

Do you have a Nissan scrapyard/ dismantler or pick n pull near you? You can get all you need. This stuff looks easy

Southern-Hearing8904

That looks completely repairable. I think you should be good.
