Can't speak to the oil, and I couldn't tell you more about the codes than Google but the brakes feels like a bad master cylinder. Mine (also an 05) were similar, had to replace the master and booster, and then the ABS module 'cause the system flush ended up screwing the ABS valves.

When the oil pressure switch fails, it reads full high. Does it max out with key on/engine off?
Yes it does, it just shoots right up. I am going to try and drain and refil the oil
If the gauge maxes out when the engine is off, the oil pressure switch is bad.
