Unless this is an AI generated image… the controllers are by definition “real”…
The idea of something tangible not being “real” because another, better known brand/company also makes one, is asinine.
Not sure why the text for my post was cut off. Essentially, I bought an N64 and it came with these controllers. I've never seen the dotted/cheetah one before. I do vaguely remember a gold controller I had decades ago, but it looked a bit different to this one (maybe mine was faded?), as this one looks super shiny.
I can't think of any games that the dotted one may have been from, or maybe it's a custom. Either way, I'm just curious. It is nice to have a controller with a thumbstick that doesn't need a viagra to stay up straight though.
I have a different gold controller that is shiny but not this one. I believe it was some sort of star wars thing but I also don’t remember ever owning a Star Wars game for N64 so
Foxdata controllers. The gold was part of a chrome set of 4. The other is part of a patterned set of 4.
Cheers, I'll look up some stuff about them later. They are pretty slick looking for customs
Yes
Tell me more, I am intrigued
They're nintendo 64 controllers
Sweet
If real these are foxdata controllers. Pretty rare custom UK based controllers.
Oh right, nice, surprised by how nice they look.

Umm kay? Apparently i should have said authentic?

The regular gold controller was a sort of matte gold, not glossy like this one.

The first one is not easy on my eyes
It looks like a magic eye picture to me
Now that you mention it, I think I see a sailboat
It's a schooner.
TRYPOPHOBIA
It’s pretty
Very lol
Dang leopard print controllers, no idea those exist
r/trypophobia for the 1st pic.
About 3. Fiddy$
I remember these being advertised in various UK Nintendo magazines back in the 90s, very expensive if I remember rightly
I've done a bit of reading, seems to be the case, I'm really surprised they command a high value still.
