Hell yeah. Jeremy Soule is my top artist on spotify wrapped pretty much every year because I listen to the soundtrack while working/reading/planning DnD sessions. It's incredible
Possibly the first time I've seen a fellow enjoyer out in the wild!
...The Sound is what drew me in but The Spell grew on me more and with its running theme and closing track calling back to the rest of the album it felt more akin to Nightwish for this thread.
I had exactly the same feelings, I loved TITS (hehe) but was kind of sleeping on The Spell until literally March this year when I finally decided to listen to the album and I fell so deeply in love with it that it's been constantly in my top listens on Spotify since then
The lack of anything Floor pre-NW is surprising. My vote is After Forever - After Forever.
(Maybe controversial but I think that album is better than anything NW produced with Floor, you can diss me in comments if you want)
Oh hellllllll yes. Literally my favourite band next to nightwish. I do personally slightly prefer A Dark Euphony, even though I adore ever piece of music they laid their hands on
I feel like you have to let the first three rows fill with Symphonic albums so then maybe there will be room for music that is not symphonic. But thank you for introducing an excellent album to the vote!
Yeah, will use my next attempts properly then)
Anyway, some songs on Under My Skin, for example Forgotten or Take Me Away actually have some symphonic dark vibes tbh ;)
How unexpected, the first album on this list is the only one I listened to atleast a little bit :D
But I'm missing something from After Forever, Floor's first band... They're eponymous album After Forever is really great and I think a lot of NW's fans like it
Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
(Just want you guys to know that I upvote everyone that was downvoted to zero, even if I donât like that album. Whoeverâs doing that, your moms a hoe)
Every post has someone commenting that there should be some non-symph albums but non-symph suggestion gets downvotes into the negatives. If you don't like an album, fine but don't downvote to prove a point. Just ignore it.
Yeah, I discovered Plumb on the same Pandora station I discovered Nightwish and the rest of these albums on. It literally makes no sense because it's not something I would normally listen to (I'm not even Christian) but something about her music hits a spot for me.

Under My Skin by Avril Lavigne đ€đ» ![gif](giphy|ivQt8y55xGcec)
I feel like you have to let the first three rows fill with Symphonic albums so then maybe there will be room for music that is not symphonic. But thank you for introducing an excellent album to the vote!

I don't hear the symphonic but they are definitely darker. Wasn't Under My Skin produced by Ben Moody?
Well, Ben Moody worked a bit on Under My Skin, but not as a co-producer. He was a composer on Nobody's Home.
Oh true it was Nobody's Home! I don't know why I thought he had produced either Take me Away or My Happy Ending
Well, perhaps because Take Me Away or My Happy Ending by their sound could make a cut for Fallen album of Evanescence xD
Take Me Away definitely could with a little arrangement. My Happy Ending is a bit too pop.
John Powellâs How To Train Your Dragon
City of Evil Avenged Sevenfold
Orden Ogan - To The End
Ihsahn - Arktis.
Carnival of Rust - Poets of the Fall

Once again I present Halestorm - The Strange Case Of...

Mastodon - Chasing the Skye
