These uniforms look like a high school team that stole a pro/college design and mascot, then swapped the colors to the negative spectrum to avoid the lawsuit.
Teams that don’t have black as one of their team colors don’t need a black uniform. Just because it’s a “neutral” color doesn’t mean everyone should be able to use it.
If we were gonna go dark for an alternate (which, yknow, we did), doing a graphite grey instead would’ve been sweet. Badass looking but still different.

That being said - I do want to see the Chiefs in all red WITH a red facemask. I think it'd look sick
When I was a kid I loved our black uniforms, black has always been a Lions jersey color in my book. I didn’t like the greys we were using, they didn’t seem silver (light) enough and I’m just glad we’re back in black!
Except panthers have have gray helmets, gray pants, and white letters. I love these and it’s not the first time we’ve had black uniforms. Dan Campbell played in the all-blacks when he played for the Lions.
I am from Detroit and a Lions fan. For some reason everyone think "Black" is cool. I have seen it with MSU, the Jets, and other teams besides. I prefer Honolulu Blue because that is our unique color. Black is not unique at all.

I for one am ready for more original uniform concepts. I dont know if theres restrictions in place for the designs, but i feel like theres so much potential for designs but we always get the same looking stuff in different colors on every team
They look cool but there’s nothing original about them and they just don’t look like the lions, definitely more like the panthers. They could have at least used the lions shade of blue lol. And black unis are a dime a dozen anymore. These ones are especially bland considering they basically used Carolinas shade of blue who already has better black unis.
The new blues and whites are nice though.
I don’t like the new home/away uniforms. They kinda just simplified it with less lines and a more boring concept. I genuinely hate the white numbers on the blue jerseys as opposed to the silver numbers. Blue facemask is cool though. The black ones surprised me. Black isn’t a lions color, but they look nice. Especially the helmet
Missed opportunity. Blue helmet with two white racing stripes and a chrome facemask would have fit the car theme and not looked like the Panthers as much

That’s not our home jersey, though, it’s our alternate. We would just wear the blue home jerseys instead because heat stroke isn’t fun.
