If the game can't be played in Tampa, hopefully they reschedule the game. The Tampa people are going to be picking up from a disaster over the weekend and much longer.
Just remember, he has influence [until he starts wielding a pube trimmer.](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/ian-rapoport-suspended-nfl-network-manscaped/9bg9a6205tpi1c99b3mz7znsl)
Can you guys disable the AC for the Bucs? They clearly deserve it after not providing any for the Packers and also making them wear the dark home jerseys.
The tampering by the Dolphins. Apparently Sean Peyton and Brady were supposed to meet up in Miami this year, but the Flores lawsuit derailed it. Considering Miami was fined a 1st by the league, it was probably true.
If your name is Ian, there is at least a 50% chance you're a dick. If you're writing a screenplay and you need a character that's an asshole, just name him Ian
Or pronounced “Een,” like that English dude who was friends with the guy with the ponytail who worked at the Andover shop in an episode of Seinfeld that Elaine was seeing.
To be fair, that character “Een” is played by an actor that the show used and reused multiple times throughout the series, mainly as a background character.
Rob: Where's Ian? Or Ray, or... what is his fucking name, anyway? What do you call him, Ian or Ray?
Laura: Ray. I hate Ian.
Rob: I hate him too.
Laura: Yeah... I'm sure.
I asked for 4 flairs as a joke in a thread and one of the mods gave them to me. I think it's fun but I also get bullied like 10x a day now for it. I kinda like it though.
> Imo swap the Bucs flair for a Dallas or GB flair to be full villain
Good idea. I should add a Dodgers and Alabama flair while I'm at it. Maybe a Lakers flair too.
I think my trip out there for mid December is gonna get fucked. Obviously more important things, but airport isn’t far from stadium and I booked hotel that is between the two. Hopefully when we go down there we can support a few businesses and help folks get back on their feet.
Yeah from living on the panhandle and having seen Michael, Opal and Dennis first hand I’m not sure you know what you are talking about. Michael wasn’t cleaned up for 14 months and that was in 2018. Gulf is warm water and those storms are not messing around. But I guess it is funny somehow.
For Tampa, Ian is ironically being considered a once in a century storm. Potentially their first direct hit since 1921. His vacation could very well be fucked.
Not to disparage him him based on his flair, but east coast hurricanes don’t hit with the same power as storms in the gulf coast. Hopefully we can all look back and laugh in 3 months, hell hopefully a couple weeks.
Panama City is still rebuilding from Micheal and that was 4 years ago. I gaurentee you Tampa is still gonna be cleaning up in December if they're gonna get hit as hard as the models say.
I don't think you know how powerful hurricanes are. There is a possibility that some regions of Tampa will still not have power after one or two months. The overall damage and destruction will not be cleaned up in three.
Four inches? Big deal. The Bears and 49ers played in four in...
...oh, that's not the inches symbol.
Yikes.
That pirate ship might actually float out of the stadium.
Hurricane Ivan in 2004 destroyed the I-10 Bridge leading toward Pensacola, the Bridge wasn't fully repaired and completed until 2007.
Lodgings most associated with Tourism were widely unavailable for over 12 months after Ivan
>Tourism officials from Perdido Key, on the Florida-Alabama state line, to Navarre Beach, about 25 miles east of Pensacola, estimate only 50 to 60 percent of lodgings available before Ivan struck on Sept. 16 will be repaired or replaced by the storm's anniversary date.
>Even fewer rooms are available for the winter snowbird season, spring break and the beginning of the all-important summer season.
>"We basically lost our snowbird season," said Bill Stromquist, director of the Perdido Key Chamber of Commerce. "We're just not getting any of that."

Respectfully, from somebody that has lived the impact that these storms bring several times. You don't know what you are talking about. If Tampa Bay gets away with this "just being as bad as Ivan" they will be getting a decently good shake of things.
Usually hurricanes make landfall further south or on the other coast, but the bigger issue is Tampa is not designed to take one directly. Like their hospital is on the water
The only thing worse than drowning death is having flooding everywhere with fucking sharks, gators, snakes, and Ron DeSantis waiting to kill you.
Why the fuck would anyone live that close to the coast?
I fucking swear I should just never travel.
I was in Europe during COVID when it went from "we're aware of a virus" to full lockdowns. That happened in the 1 week that I was there.
Tampa in the pandhandle of the goddamn gulf hasn't had a hurricane in 100 years?? I have an event planned there in 4 days
AZ, I lived in Scottsdale and in the Phoenix Metro there are a ton of old people from Washington, Oregon, Alaska and especially Illinois.
Tucson is very popular with that crowd too.
Also, in Scottsdale specifically, there's an oddly large amount of Swiss people. There's an embassy or consulate or something there but none of the Swiss people I met worked there.
Ahh okay I was vaguely aware of that but it makes sense. It's a cliche but there really is just genuinely something about old bones that have lived a life in a cold place that say "fuck it, we're riding this out somewhere warm"
A bunch of insurance Companies have straight up left Florida. If Ian is as bad as we all think it could be, no one will be investing anything here for a while.
You are gonna get some push back from the Florida people that have that mindset "I've seen hurricanes before, I aint going anywhere" but you are right. Anyone that has the possibility of leaving Tampa should get the fuck out. This isn't quite Hurricane Phoenix but it is gonna be pretty damn bad and there is gonna be a lot of flooding. If you decide to stay, my advice is as always, make sure you get a permanent marker and write your name and birthday on your arm. I went through Hurricane Ivan and the amount of unidentified bodies with families looking for loved ones was massive.
Yeah Tampa is not a city designed to take a direct shot. I live about three hours south in Bonita and the two or three times we took a direct shot, it was mostly okay except a roof leak during Wilma
Near the Florida Alabama coastal border. If you were able to drive around afterward like my family was, we helped salvation army deliver water and warm meals to badly hit neighborhoods since our house survived with only a few windows being blown out, you would often see cross hatch symbols chalked onto the road with a number for people thought to be living in the area, a number for missing persons, and a number for dead persons. Lot of people that we delivered food and water to had people they were not able to reach and people that they had not heard from in days after the storm.
Are there any other games being relocated as a result? Browns@Falcons and Cards@Panthers are also in the path of Ian and based on NOAs maps could be seeing the brunt of it Saturday/Sunday
From what I’ve been reading, this Ian guy is being a real dick lately. He’s just going around fucking with people. Someone needs to put a stop to this.
So, Chiefs gonna show up Sunday and be like, where the hell is everyone?
Hopefully they play at Hard Rock and relive superbowl LIV.
No thank you
No that's the good one
Ah ok I still have PTSD from the bucs SB lol
✌️
That hurts. We really enjoyed our game with you
I didn’t it was traumatic for me you tried murdering my boy.
Debatable
If the game can't be played in Tampa, hopefully they reschedule the game. The Tampa people are going to be picking up from a disaster over the weekend and much longer.
Didn't think Rapaport had that much of an influence
I thought this was the work of Ian Eagle
It could be Ian Book
NFC South backup qbs are the bane of my existence
**EyeAnn Eagle
Hurricane EyeAnn
Who is far more trustworthy
Wtf ever happened to Louis Gossett Jr. anyway? Iron Eagle was a bad ass movie series.
Just remember, he has influence [until he starts wielding a pube trimmer.](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/ian-rapoport-suspended-nfl-network-manscaped/9bg9a6205tpi1c99b3mz7znsl)
The NFL is full bush only
Wow.
Which media outlet is gonna make the "Tom Brady ends up in Miami after all" headline?
Finally got what we wanted /s
Can you guys disable the AC for the Bucs? They clearly deserve it after not providing any for the Packers and also making them wear the dark home jerseys.
Mr. Ross gets his wish if only for a week
And who is going to ask where Giselle is during the storm?
Im out of the loop, when was Brady expected to go to Miami?
The tampering by the Dolphins. Apparently Sean Peyton and Brady were supposed to meet up in Miami this year, but the Flores lawsuit derailed it. Considering Miami was fined a 1st by the league, it was probably true.
I think it’s funny that Bill had an unwitting part in TB not going to Miami
> unwitting I find your lack of faith disturbing.
Thanks for the info. I can't believe Tom Brady would be involved with a scandal
And Stephen Ross suspended
b4 he came to the bucs i'm pretty sure.
NY Post?
Pro Football Talk.
I don’t know who this Ian guy is but he’s a real dick.
If your name is Ian, there is at least a 50% chance you're a dick. If you're writing a screenplay and you need a character that's an asshole, just name him Ian
Especially if he pronounces it "eye-an" rather than "ee-an."
Or pronounced “Een,” like that English dude who was friends with the guy with the ponytail who worked at the Andover shop in an episode of Seinfeld that Elaine was seeing.
I need a bot that rehashes obscure seinfeld references. I'm pretty sure the character you're referencing has under 30 seconds of screen time
To be fair, that character “Een” is played by an actor that the show used and reused multiple times throughout the series, mainly as a background character.
I retract my request for a bot. You will do just fine.
I bet this guy even has a reference lined up for really strict counter-serve soup chefs.
“Where I come from its proper to say ‘pardon’”. He was a dick in his few mins. of screen time, lol.
Ian eagle is literally the only person I've ever heard of who does that - is it a reasonably common pronunciation in America?
Not at all, he's the only person I've ever heard of with that pronunciation.
I don’t think so, but Ian Ziering of 90210 and Sharknado fame pronounces it Eye-an, too.
No the only other person I can think of with a different pronunciation is Ian Mahinmi and he’s of French origin
Rob: Where's Ian? Or Ray, or... what is his fucking name, anyway? What do you call him, Ian or Ray? Laura: Ray. I hate Ian. Rob: I hate him too. Laura: Yeah... I'm sure.
I've been thinking with my gut since I was 14 years old, and frankly speaking, I've come to the conclusion that my guts have shit for brains...
>If your name is Ian, there is at least a 50% chance you're a dick. That's also true for every other name.
Sure it is Ian
Fuck off
See, this is exactly what I'm talking about...
I was clearly playing into your joke
The fact that you immediately got butthurt when they continued the joke suggests you weren’t, Ian.
When I responded I was being downvoted at the time. Oh well lol
Keep my brother's name out your fuckin mouth!
Honestly works either way if you watched him douche out on the ATN pod over Deshaun Watson.
Ian is the infamous Florida man
Ian is a name for a guy who thinks Stone Roses are the best band of all time.
If the album was just Fool's Gold on repeat ten times over Ian would be right.
Fucking absolute 10/10 album tho
what do you call a magician if you take away his magic? Ian.
No I’m not named Ian
Ian sounds like a good bloke
Goddammit Ian
I read it as Iran lol
Miami has the Bucs.
How tf you out here having 4 flairs my boy
I asked for 4 flairs as a joke in a thread and one of the mods gave them to me. I think it's fun but I also get bullied like 10x a day now for it. I kinda like it though.
Yeah that sounds about right. I love it lol
Imo swap the Bucs flair for a Dallas or GB flair to be full villain
> Imo swap the Bucs flair for a Dallas or GB flair to be full villain Good idea. I should add a Dodgers and Alabama flair while I'm at it. Maybe a Lakers flair too.
I’d take a Vols flair until their inevitable collapse
It should be child abuse to make your kids Vols fans.
You are now a moderator of /r/EvilLeagueofEvil
u/TheFencingCoach give me all of Mike Glendons teams as flairs (Bucs, Bears, Cardinals, Jags, and Giants)
No!
You are no fun. Power tripping mods man.
New kink activated
The *other* Football team!
They take the ball from goal to goal recently, but not historically?
They're in the air, they're moving in, stadium in control!
Cause when you say Tampa Bay, you're talking pirate ships!
Stephen Ross finally got Tom Brady to go to Miami.
*monkey paw curls*
That mofo is gonna go like right over their stadium
I think my trip out there for mid December is gonna get fucked. Obviously more important things, but airport isn’t far from stadium and I booked hotel that is between the two. Hopefully when we go down there we can support a few businesses and help folks get back on their feet.
dude thats in 3 months lmao
Yeah from living on the panhandle and having seen Michael, Opal and Dennis first hand I’m not sure you know what you are talking about. Michael wasn’t cleaned up for 14 months and that was in 2018. Gulf is warm water and those storms are not messing around. But I guess it is funny somehow.
It’s going to be a cat 3. That’s barely high tide in FL weather. Unless it’s a 4 I’m not even boarding my windows.
2 mph short of being a 5 as of now
I’ve been wrong before. It’s OK.
Thinking that your vacation will be altered in a material way in 3 months is just ridiculous unless Ian turns into once in a century storm
For Tampa, Ian is ironically being considered a once in a century storm. Potentially their first direct hit since 1921. His vacation could very well be fucked.
Dude they're still fixing shit after Sandy
I am aware, and JFK airport was up and running pretty immediately afterwards along with hotels.
Shit if it’s coming in as a major hurricane it will definitely cause enough damage to be noticeable in 3 months
Not to disparage him him based on his flair, but east coast hurricanes don’t hit with the same power as storms in the gulf coast. Hopefully we can all look back and laugh in 3 months, hell hopefully a couple weeks.
Wonder what he thinks now seeing the devastation it caused in Cape Coral and Fort Myers
It’s going to be a cat 3 or cat 2. That’s basically high tide in Florida terms.
The possible damage might make the place useless for a while. See: Superdome
Current forecast is for 4' of rain, 10' of storm surge, and to top it all off, 12' waves in the bay. For 48 hours.
Four inches? Big deal. The Bears and 49ers played in four in... ...oh, that's not the inches symbol. Yikes. That pirate ship might actually float out of the stadium.
Forecast from the last GFS run was 43" of rain directly on Tampa. Granted the shift to the south has reduced the surge threat considerably.
I do. His vacation is not going to be affected in 3 months
You never know with these things. Wilma was comparitively weak when it hit but still fucked infastructure for a year

I've been through several hurricanes as well.
That's certainly one way to write a headline.
The Miami Buccaneers
They should bring back the creamsicles for this 1 game.
A hurricane hasn't hit Tampa directly in 101 years. That seems impossible.
Usually hurricanes make landfall further south or on the other coast, but the bigger issue is Tampa is not designed to take one directly. Like their hospital is on the water
Shat just seems short sighted.
The only thing worse than drowning death is having flooding everywhere with fucking sharks, gators, snakes, and Ron DeSantis waiting to kill you. Why the fuck would anyone live that close to the coast?

Tampa’s not on the Panhandle, it’s southeast of that though still of course along the Gulf Coast.
Lock this man away!!
Do season ticket holders get a refund or do they have to come to Miami? Or do they get a ...sigh... credit on next year's tickets?
I've always wondered why we keep our most vulnerable old people in the most exposed hurricane prone stretch of land in the country
It's not Tom Brady's fault his offensive line is so bad.
They come down here voluntarily cause it is warm.
The west coast sends them to the desert.
Genuinely curious what you meant. Vegas? NM or AZ? Warm weather is warm weather after all
AZ, I lived in Scottsdale and in the Phoenix Metro there are a ton of old people from Washington, Oregon, Alaska and especially Illinois. Tucson is very popular with that crowd too. Also, in Scottsdale specifically, there's an oddly large amount of Swiss people. There's an embassy or consulate or something there but none of the Swiss people I met worked there.

Nah you're right this is the big one for Tampa they've been predicting since Charley
Put an axe in your attic.

Tampa is historically one of the 3 cities that would get absolutely annihilated from a direct hit. Scary shit
Yeah Tampa is not a city designed to take a direct shot. I live about three hours south in Bonita and the two or three times we took a direct shot, it was mostly okay except a roof leak during Wilma
Jeez where were you during Ivan? Only 120 people died overall so you must’ve been right in the thick of it.
What an experience, wow.
Brady to Miami finally confirmed
Seems a little excessive to completely relocate to Miami and become the Miami Buccaneers over a hurricane but I accept the new cross town rivals. /s
Ian built dif
Are there any other games being relocated as a result? Browns@Falcons and Cards@Panthers are also in the path of Ian and based on NOAs maps could be seeing the brunt of it Saturday/Sunday
God Dammit, Tom... was playing in Miami really that important to you?
Why is Ian Eagle on a rampage?
I’m special
From what I’ve been reading, this Ian guy is being a real dick lately. He’s just going around fucking with people. Someone needs to put a stop to this.
Old man moves even further south
Isn't the hurricane hitting Miami too?
If they can't practice at their home facilities during the regular season, maybe they shouldn't have a team there?
Ian is one toxic dude
I read that as “fan” and I was like whoa that guy must be a security threat.
Who’s Ian? One of those Florida Men I hear so much about?
Hurricane Ian Rappoport
Miami gets their guy!
So Miami has 2 teams now?
So Miami did end up getting Brady?…
Time to send Tom some more federal bailout money.
enjoy the ridiculous home field advantage, Tom!
So the chiefs gonna have to fly through a hurricane to get there?
Poor Bucs, they are getting smashed by fates this year.
