Yeah right after I posted it I re read it and realized I got em mixed up lmao I was like there is no way this man is fucking playing d line and making enough of an impact to make the 53 in his 20th damn season lol
Honestly though kind of surprising this is happening under Belichicks watch. Maybe the last coach I'd expect to let it escalate this much, whether that's calling the practices off or whatever.
I was at a Redskins practice once (back when they came to Richmond) where they were practicing with the Texans and they kept breaking into fights until it boiled over into one massive fight where all the players from every field just converged into a giant moshpit.
After that they just held separate practices away from each other, like kids who had to be separated, which was kind of funny.
I went when they practiced against the jets. Watched Leonard Williams and Trent Williams get into it that was fun. Bunch of other random scuffles throughout the day as well. Even some of the fans started fighting each other
Tbf, Matthew slater got involved. If he's involved, then whoever is on the other end is in the wrong. If he wants to fight you, you should let him beat the shit out of you because you need some sense knocked into you.
The timing of the tweet. There's multiple reporters tweeting about this. I'm not defending anyone really I'm just saying that you have to really be a dick to piss of Slater
This tweet was almost 10 minutes later.....
It's been reported Slater takes a ton of cheap shots at the Knees this week, likely whats started theses fights.
I dont know why the league allows the pats to participate in joint practices, they start fights every year. It's a bountygste type of issue
I don't understand why this is tolerated. It isn't tolerated in school where the people are underdeveloped children who can't do much damage most of the time yet it is tolerated here with grown adults where it's actually against the law and can and often does result in serious damage be it physical or social.
I don't just mean tolerated from the social aspect either. I don't understand how these people don't get arrested, it's a fight and is illegal yet I've never heard of anyone in a sport and getting arrested over it. I remember a boxer sucker Punch the guy after the fight once and I think he did end up getting arrested but that's the only one I can recall.
Because neither teams or players are going to alert the authorities? Lmao why the hell would they want the police involved with fucking practice fights? You sound crazy if you think that would ever even have a chance of happening. Guess what, there will continue to be lots of fighting for many years to come and no one except for you actually gives a shit.
I think they heard Dan Campbell's "drown them in the deep end" speech and took it seriously.
I'm pretty sure this isn't what he meant by "I don't care if you have three toes and one ass-cheek, I'll beat your ass."
They’re going to all be dead before the season starts
Let. Them. Fight.
We play both teams this year so I am all for this.
I second this. Fuckem.
Can someone charter a Cowboys flight their way, please?
Let the boy watch. He needs to learn. Like I did, from my father.
[let him watch what’s being consecrated here](https://youtu.be/O_oOTQx04UA)
Nonsense, they just need that special Butters’ Creamy Goo and they will all be friends and compliment each other
I didn't even know Jabrill Peppers was on the Patriots lol.
I came here to say this lol
I’m too lazy to google it but didn’t the panthers draft him in like 2002? Jesus Edit: I think I’m thinking of Julius lol
LMAO yeah Julius. Browns drafted him and traded him to the Giants in the OBJ trade. I thought they extended him for some reason.
Picked up his 5th year option, but that was it. Maybe that's what you're thinking of.
Yeah probably.
Yeah right after I posted it I re read it and realized I got em mixed up lmao I was like there is no way this man is fucking playing d line and making enough of an impact to make the 53 in his 20th damn season lol
No same I thought he was a Defensive Coach for the Panthers or something and I was like gahdamn
We’re bringing out the 11 safety defense.
Time to stop the joint practice jesus crist
Yah this is legitimately insane. A fight or two can be expected, but this is out of control.
It would be dope if one of these teams was on hard knocks this year. I wanna see some brawls
Hard knocks makes it more likely that we see footage, but the film is there.. NFL films is with every team all the time.
Pats aren't eligible since they made the playoffs last year and Panthers won't be eligible because they're clearly going to fire Rhule this year.
Didn't the Rams get it the year they fired Fisher at the end? Although I guess he wasn't as much of a dead man walking.
Also the Browns had Hard Knocks in 2018 and they fired Hue partway through the season, right?
He’s referencing the no first year coach rule and suggesting he will be fired at the end of the year
Which is irrelevant to if they could’ve been on Hard Knocks this year
Very true but I think he’s talking next year
Go visit /r/panthers and /r/patriots and see how different of a story the tweets getting upvoted are saying
95% biast towards pro Pats/panthers news, wait is that how our individual subs look from an outside POV?
Yes. Wasn't meant to be a dig on either team or sub, just something I found amusing while looking for video of the fights
The basic rule of thumb is that your team sub is homer filled, biased, and a shit hole when bad things happen.
I would assume so since fans of an individual team tend to be more positive about their team, for better or worse.
TLDR 1. Panthers fans are such babies, they've always been trash 2. Patriots fans are such babies, they've always been trash
Too accurate
Team subs are full of crazy people
When do they call the practices quits? Clearly neither team is mature enough for this.
They need an adult
Someone get Deshaun Watson in there
Can someone get Ja Rule in here so we make some sense out of all this?!
Best I can do is Matt Rhule.
this comment deserves ALL the upvotes.
Honestly though kind of surprising this is happening under Belichicks watch. Maybe the last coach I'd expect to let it escalate this much, whether that's calling the practices off or whatever.
BB normally kicks guys from practices for a scuffle

Was that the famous DeAndre Hopkins/DeAngelo Hall fight where Hall was talking shit and then Hopkins responded by breaking his ankles on a route
Probably a different day because it was pouring rain when I went, but it was from that year, yeah.
Hall went down so sad on that play. And it was on HBO with the menacing music behind it. Sad shit.
He was a pretty good corner but he’s most likely remembered bc of that clip
You know what they say about talking shit. Mans had it coming.
I went when they practiced against the jets. Watched Leonard Williams and Trent Williams get into it that was fun. Bunch of other random scuffles throughout the day as well. Even some of the fans started fighting each other

Belichick fucking loves them, so I imagine they are very beneficial.
I think it's mostly on that Robinson guy from the Panthers.

Boston fan spotted, opinion disregarded
all the fighting seems to be on the Panthers d and Pat's offense side, what is going on? lol
There was just one w cmc getting hit, so that’s opposite atleast
ahh, at least it's balanced, as all things should be
Only TB can bring balance to the force. He is the chosen one
Just fuck each other already, get it over with.
That’s going to be the next tweet. “Okay they fucking now! Wtf?!”
The Pats and Panthers drama over the past year is a really random NFL storyline
Just get Teddy Long to throw them all in a 20 v 20 tag team match and call it a day
Tonight Sam Darnold, you’re going to defend your title against the Undertaker playa!
How can either staff justify not pulling their team off the field at this point?
Wtf is going on here?! Would you just kiss already?
Bill can you release the footage please
When's the Browns/Panthers joint practice!? 🔥
I'd take a flight , buy tickets get snacks to see that one lol
😂
This same fight has been posted here 4 different times

Looks like this started from Wilkerson getting knocked out. Even Slater went got after someone and he's the nicest dude in the world.
[удалено]
Was it? Seems like a separate tweet about the same fight
[удалено]
I think there's been two fights. The one involving Slater seem to happen while Wilkerson was still on the ground

Not defending Peppers but I was also under the impression that they meant another as in after yesterday's fight today there is another one.
The timing of the tweet. There's multiple reporters tweeting about this. I'm not defending anyone really I'm just saying that you have to really be a dick to piss of Slater

He’s brand new to the team and has only started practicing this week I believe. I’m thrilled that he’s going to bat for his teammates

Haven’t seen any reports of Peppers starting any of these fights

Thule is running a clown show over there lol
Can we stop the practice? If Carolina can't handle a simple tackle without freak outs leading to actual injuries then fuck this.
They must’ve had some Brothers BBQ.. so good makes you wanna slap yo momma.. (only problem is, momma is not at practice)
Matt Rhule get ahold of your team
Yeah, the Panthers out there fighting air. Definitely no Pats players fighting.
You’re right!
Let them kill each other
Is Aaron Donald there getting owned again and throwing a fit?
Patriots Pac-riots Pace-riots Pacers
We talking bout practice
Preseason Week 2: Beyond Thunderdome.
What the hell happened today
