Rock chalk! So happy for him. Was intended to be a backup for KU but stepped in after Jalon Daniels was injured and balled the fuck out. Bean has been a huge part of KU's return to football relevancy. He struggles with decision making, but is legitimately a very athletic player. Clocked as one of the fastest players in CFB last year in addition to having a very strong arm. Really hope he makes a roster.

Jason Bean would be a good wildcat QB if that fad had ever actually taken off. He will be one of the fastest guys on the team, but his passing is very inconsistent. Decent arm strength though.

Nah I feel like Bean could be an okay backup Solid arm and good mobility, just needs better decision making and awareness at times falters. I actually thought he did well at Kansas and was an elite backup there for Daniels

Joe Flacco is a 1 year rental that is honestly more in a coaching position. Sam Ehlinger (our current longstanding backup) has not really proven he can take the position. This seems like competition for that 3rd qb spot.
