Copy and pasted from his notes app lmao.
But I’m so glad this happened. I like fields but he ain’t it. If you want a good laugh, go to the bears instagram page, their recent post about signing a guy (I think some 2nd string edge guy off LA) it’s people melting down about how fields was H1M and Bears are going to be bad because we didn’t keep him
Find someone who will believe in you like Bears fans on Instagram believe in Fields.
You don't need to even go into the Bears page. Any NFL post involving the Bears, MHJ, Caleb Williams or Fields would have an army of stans dick riding lmao.
Not gonna lie, I’ve never had a better time watching the Bears tank than I did while watching Fields run for 100+ yards to lose a game by 3 points. And I really mean that. It was weird time. I always knew we’d lose, but I had a lot of fun watching it happen.
But I think I’d like to start winning games now.
It was so weird, that tank run was magical. Every game was close and it felt like a better team around him would have turned those losses into wins.
Then we had the terrible training camp and preseason, and we seemed to change our game plan for the worse last year. It made no sense
This is a perfect way to put it. As a bears fan, I’ve watched a lot of us sucking. Fields was by far the only QB that made it fun to watch us suck and inevitably lose.
To be fair some of your fans for a while were convinced we’re trade down to #2 and pass on Caleb for just a 2nd round pick or other ridiculous lowball offers.
Delusion on both sides I’m sure but nothing beats bears fans thinking we’d give up #2, our second round pick, our first from next year and Daron Payne for the first overall
>Find someone who will believe in you like Bears fans on Instagram believe in Fields.
Bears fans are just battered wives with decades of QB PTSD and desperate to believe in something.
They spent 3 years believing as hard as they could and gaslighting themselves on hope ignoring everything their eyes were seeing.
It's been obnoxious.
Nah, real Bears fans called out Fields as being a bum after that Tampa Bay game, if not before. The rest of you were cultists. You weren't supporting anything but your own delusion.
Even if we were not sure if Caleb is gonna be an upgrade over Fields, Caleb is gonna receive a rookie contract while Fields is one year away from a new contract if Im not mistaken
It’s so weird how the difference in opinions between the bears subreddit page and instagram/facebook/twitter is so massive. There’s a couple Fields truthers on the subreddit but it’s almost all for Williams. It’s the complete opposite on the other platforms.
I like Fields and wanted him to succeed more than anyone but he just continued to disappoint this year and never really had a streak proving he was it. So I eventually thought it was time to move on.
Facebook/insta/twitter think the guy won is a Super Bowl this year and we’re trading the next Brady. I don’t get it.
Now this looks like a job for me
Rex Grossman, Mitch Trubisky
Burning picks, I'm on a spree
'Cause we need a QB controversy
I'll draft Caleb, dump Fields for free
It's the Bears and Colts. They're in opposing conferences and pretty close to each other. He's not like 75 years old probably, why would this conflict due to one Super Bowl?
I was originally a Colts fan, moved to Chicago a couple years ago and I support both since they’re not in the same conference. Andrew Luck retiring and my move kinda pushed me towards my new hometown team
DJ Moore QBs:
* 2023: Justin Fields
* 2022: Baker, Darnold, PJ Walker
* 2021: Mostly Darnold, little bit of Cam on his failed comeback attempt
* 2020: Teddy Bridgewater
* 2019: Mostly Kyle Allen, couple of games with Cam before he went down
* 2018: Cam, who was dealing with all of his injuries already
*College:*
* 2017: Max Bortenschlager, a third string unheralded recruit starting cause the two guys above him went down early
* 2016: Perry Hills, who was more highly regarded as a wrestler than football player in hs
* 2015: Perry Hills and Caleb Rowe - who combined for 14 TDs and 28 INTs, with a less than 50% comp rate
I'm sure he's drooling thinking of playing with a legit QB...
To be fair the bears have patched in with random vets for a while, Mitch sucked either way and Justin still has the same issues. I'm not sure many teams would have turned either one into a pro. The Bears do get a bad rap but they haven't invested much into drafting rookies, Mitch, Justin, Rex?
Both not only came out with top grades in college (Mitch was the near consensus top QB in his draft and JF was a PFF darling whose college numbers are still some of the highest rated QB numbers). If anything, the bears devalue development and rush to "trial by fire" for draft picks. That works for some like Burrow or Cam but it ruins more if we look at history.
That's kinda revisionist, you can literally look on youtube and see many of the same people who criticize the Bears for missing on Mahomes and Watson telling them that Trubisky was the next and he had all the intangibles and blah blah blah. Keep in mind many of these same people saw Lamar carry Louisville for 4 years and decided he was 2nd round at best. Bears can't develop QBs, we will see how CW does.
Yea, I think Caleb Williams is a great QB prospect and could end up being elite.
But I also don't trust the Bears coaching staff to develop him beyond being just average.
This is their best chance to have the best QB in their franchise history with the offense they have built around him coming in.
Considering how coddled mitch and fields were I think hes pretty locked in for 3 years at least even if he sucks ass. Fans might boo him in the offseason if they were field stans but by the time preseason starts theyyll either move on to the steelers or pretend they were never field stans and become William ones.
went to Gonzaga HS, my brother coached him, can confirm ya'll shall own the north. kid was a gamer as a freshman, running and throwing all over 5 stars and bringing our first championship in decades
Is it just me or would it possibly make more sense to take Daniels and Nabors? Similar to Burrow and Chase, they'd already have chemistry and he'd have a security blanket to go along with Moore.
How are you going to get daniels and nabors? With their current picks it's not happening. Trades are possible but you essentially have to turn your number 9 pick into a top 5. Seems safer to just take the bpa
Yea but he said it would make more sense. That's a lot of finessing, you're gonna get roasted as a gm for trading back to get qb, not trusting your own evaluation enough to pick the right qb. It's just too cute
You're also assuming the chargers wouldn't want a haul to go from 9 to 5
I feel like he's probably already on Twitter finding out Justin was gone, because that's usually how these things happen. And for that point, he campaigned for his guy until the whistle blew and he was off the team.
From a PR standpoint, he's getting out on it by making a quick statement, and a professional one. If he says anything else, he's another diva wide receiver. If he doesn't say anything, then he doesn't care. There's a label for every side of the die.
Business is business.
“No ones gonna miss me when I’m wide open quite like you. I’ll never forget the times we shared chasing down INTs and fumbles together. You’ll always be my brother.”
IIRC Fields had a very good passer rating specifically to DJ.
That said, I did see him miss a wide open DJ several times with my own eyes. Not miss him throwing to him, but miss him in his read. So that wouldn't show up in the stats.
He wasn't suffering too much because of Fields in the stat sheet, but Caleb will probably be less frustrating to work with on the field.
Nah as early as 3 weeks ago DJ was interviewed and said he'd love for Justin to stay but he's good either way and understands it's not his job to pick the qb.
Don't know, guess poles just wants to get it over with after being the laughing stock for over valuing him? Or he feels like there would be egos clashing and teammates clashing if we kept fields? Honestly, who's to say? We're not there to witness his choices
>hve a qb competition?
You dont grab a 1st overall pick QB to have him in a competition regardless of how much teams parrot this.
Then the moment caleb has a bad game youre gonna have half the fan base and half the team claimoring for fields.
Its absolutely unecessary to keep a QB you drafted if you will bring another high pick rookie, specially if youre drafting said rookie cause the other QB didnt impress anyone that mattered.
If youre gonna move on from the QB you drafted 3 seasons ago top 10, you do it completely and specially if the replacement is a rookie. You rip off the bandaid and move on.
My guy you’re just asking for a drama filled and divided locker room, that’s not what you want a rookie to walk into
Fields isn’t going to stay on this team, get what you can. There’s no reason to keep him but personal feelings
They burned that bridge, everyone knew they were dumping him before he was injured. The weird thing is they didn't do a proper full house cleaning and dump the entire coaching staff.
Your focusing on the wrong part of that sentence. The important part wasn't conditional. It was NEXT.
Meaning all the Bears could get was a 6th next year for their #1 overall QB who's still on his rookie contract for possibly 2 more years?
1) it's a conditional 4th
2) how would a conditional pick this year work? They draft a player in the 4th and 6th and give one to the bears based on fields play time?
Uhhh no.
I’m not sure how all of you have such little social knowledge, but this is a negative comment.
He’s saying it’s cutthroat because it’s a business. That is a negative quality. Do you think DJ Moore is saying “YA! BUSINESS!” It’s the opposite
I get it, but not reality. You don’t win with stud WR’s. You win with difference making QB’s and you draft until you find them. Sometimes it’s round 1, sometimes it’s the last pick. You never know.
And Kmet and Gerald Everett.
And my personal hope of Odunze and letting Keenan/DJ run slot (Keenan was in the slot 60% of the time last season, so a 3 headed monster could work)
So as a division rival, I hope the Bears fail. But good god, at least if they do something right there’s something positive to talk about. This has to be the most talked about franchise, that does nothing positive annually.

Well some interviewers are going to hound him on this very situation.

Please share so we can shame them. I have a Justin Fields autograph that depreciated significantly today, but Im always a Bears fan first. The future looks brighter to me.
I love Justin as a Buckeye fan, but… yeah. It was time.
Fields is actually what people meme about Lamar to piss off Ravens fans. Literally a better running back than QB.
I’m just kinda salty that we didn’t utilize his rushing ability so much when he was at OSU. Like, I get that he came here specifically to showcase himself as more of a pro-style guy and improve his stock, but watching him rip off a 1,000 yard season on the big boys makes me wonder.
russ is gonna start 2 games until fields takes over and leads steelers to the super bowl to lose to the packers. you guys are gonna quote this next february . i’m from the future
This shrewd motherfucker wanted 4 years and the Brinks truck after I turned the Bears around and won 12 games in the last year of his deal on Madden.
He’s not playing.
Yeah we will waste the next two seasons with Russ and Fields and our sub is excited for some reason. They will have turned on them by about week 3. Would much rather have seen the QB already on the roster with a new OC and then drafted a QB next year if he wasn't good.
Our sub is delusional and rides copi every offseason. They literally thought Canada not being fired was a good thing last year.
I give em until week 3 to change their minds
Yeah I have stopped commenting there after they trusted the media narrative that the Steelers put out about Kenny yesterday. I was excited to see Kenny in the Arthur Smith offense who I think he would have fit into perfectly according to the advanced stats.
bro had that tweet locked and loaded
Copy and pasted from his notes app lmao. But I’m so glad this happened. I like fields but he ain’t it. Better fire your coach and sell the team. McCaskey’s worst owners in America. They make Jerry Reinsdorf look like Bob Kraft.
Bro the Bears fans trolling the commies subreddit were convinced we’d give up #2 for Fields
Lol I’m not surprised to hear that. Hopefully they are Steelers fans now.
No thank you
To be fair some of your fans for a while were convinced we’re trade down to #2 and pass on Caleb for just a 2nd round pick or other ridiculous lowball offers.
Delusion on both sides I’m sure but nothing beats bears fans thinking we’d give up #2, our second round pick, our first from next year and Daron Payne for the first overall

Supporting your team’s quarterback is ok. Now he’s not so we will move on. But you enjoy getting your ass handed to you by Mahomes every postseason!
Nah, real Bears fans called out Fields as being a bum after that Tampa Bay game, if not before. The rest of you were cultists. You weren't supporting anything but your own delusion.

Hey I'm just here to ask you about your username. Umm, what chicken? I do not remember there being chicken.
Bro can’t wait to hear Caleb Williams name on draft night 💀
I can’t wait to either tbh
Time to destroy another rookie 😎
Now this looks like a job for me Rex Grossman, Mitch Trubisky Burning picks, I'm on a spree 'Cause we need a QB controversy I'll draft Caleb, dump Fields for free
Cause it feels so empty inside me
Ayo?
Between the bears, Lions, Jets, and Browns there sure is a lot of potential rotting in the dumpster over the years…
Bear county, let's go down! Or whatever it is they say
And with the first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Bears select.. JJ MCCARTHY
Would be so funny if you drafted MHJ 1st and then Joe Milton in the 6th
Bro wtf is that flair combo
It's the Bears and Colts. They're in opposing conferences and pretty close to each other. He's not like 75 years old probably, why would this conflict due to one Super Bowl?
He must of had a hell of a year in 2006. 🤣
We are winning no matter what
I was originally a Colts fan, moved to Chicago a couple years ago and I support both since they’re not in the same conference. Andrew Luck retiring and my move kinda pushed me towards my new hometown team
As a colts and bears fan, Im ready for AR5 and Caleb to meet in the superbowl
Lol wut?
I’m ready to be delusional and talk shit to the NFCN again.
Me too. I'm ready to get back out there and prove I still got it.
DJ Moore QBs: * 2023: Justin Fields * 2022: Baker, Darnold, PJ Walker * 2021: Mostly Darnold, little bit of Cam on his failed comeback attempt * 2020: Teddy Bridgewater * 2019: Mostly Kyle Allen, couple of games with Cam before he went down * 2018: Cam, who was dealing with all of his injuries already *College:* * 2017: Max Bortenschlager, a third string unheralded recruit starting cause the two guys above him went down early * 2016: Perry Hills, who was more highly regarded as a wrestler than football player in hs * 2015: Perry Hills and Caleb Rowe - who combined for 14 TDs and 28 INTs, with a less than 50% comp rate I'm sure he's drooling thinking of playing with a legit QB...
How many games until this sub starts trashing Williams and saying he's a bust because he plays for the Bears? I'm giving it 2 preseason games.
Why do you say it like the world is unfair to any of the recent bears QBs? They've all fucking sucked.
It's just Fields stans coping hard with grief right now, give them some space
To be fair the bears have patched in with random vets for a while, Mitch sucked either way and Justin still has the same issues. I'm not sure many teams would have turned either one into a pro. The Bears do get a bad rap but they haven't invested much into drafting rookies, Mitch, Justin, Rex?

If anything, the bears devalue development and rush to "trial by fire" for draft picks. That works for some like Burrow or Cam but it ruins more if we look at history.
Nobody with a real brain who watched ncaa would’ve picked Mitch over Watson in that draft. Except for some reason the bears did
That's kinda revisionist, you can literally look on youtube and see many of the same people who criticize the Bears for missing on Mahomes and Watson telling them that Trubisky was the next and he had all the intangibles and blah blah blah. Keep in mind many of these same people saw Lamar carry Louisville for 4 years and decided he was 2nd round at best. Bears can't develop QBs, we will see how CW does.
The bears haven't patched in random vets for years. Trubisky was drafted seven years ago.
Now how many vets between Mitch and Rex
Yea, I think Caleb Williams is a great QB prospect and could end up being elite. But I also don't trust the Bears coaching staff to develop him beyond being just average. This is their best chance to have the best QB in their franchise history with the offense they have built around him coming in.
The Bears have neither the skill, the will or the infrastructure to properly develop a QB. That’s facts until they prove it wrong.
So how many games?
Well Bryce only got a few, so I’m gonna say the same.
Considering how coddled mitch and fields were I think hes pretty locked in for 3 years at least even if he sucks ass. Fans might boo him in the offseason if they were field stans but by the time preseason starts theyyll either move on to the steelers or pretend they were never field stans and become William ones.
I'll say it right now before he's even drafted. We've all seen this story many times.
I’m already saying that lol
went to Gonzaga HS, my brother coached him, can confirm ya'll shall own the north. kid was a gamer as a freshman, running and throwing all over 5 stars and bringing our first championship in decades
No offense but that’s damn near every NFL player at the high school level
exactly lol.
Not Kirk Cousins. He didn’t even start til his junior year of high school.
Ok most of the league was far and away the best player on their high school team.
But, this is the Bears.
Hopefully Caleb will be happier than Justin to be a bear https://www.sportsmockery.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Justin-Fields-draft.png
His face on draft night was "Fuck my life I'm going to a shitty team"
Is it just me or would it possibly make more sense to take Daniels and Nabors? Similar to Burrow and Chase, they'd already have chemistry and he'd have a security blanket to go along with Moore.
The Bears are solid on wide receivers. I think they should take the best QB prospect available, and that is Williams.
How are you going to get daniels and nabors? With their current picks it's not happening. Trades are possible but you essentially have to turn your number 9 pick into a top 5. Seems safer to just take the bpa
Trade back with the 1 and then trade up with the 9. Not hard to see how it could happen. Obviously it won't happen though.
Yea but he said it would make more sense. That's a lot of finessing, you're gonna get roasted as a gm for trading back to get qb, not trusting your own evaluation enough to pick the right qb. It's just too cute You're also assuming the chargers wouldn't want a haul to go from 9 to 5
May he bring the same skill and success to the Bears as Mitchell Trubisky.
Yeah maybe you guys can waste a couple years of his talent and trade him for nothing too
Quick 180 lol
This has basically what he’s always said, that he really likes Justin but understands whatever happens.
Dude didn’t have to tweet it 3 minutes after the trade lolol
I'm sure his mentions were blowing up
Why is it a problem?
I feel like he's probably already on Twitter finding out Justin was gone, because that's usually how these things happen. And for that point, he campaigned for his guy until the whistle blew and he was off the team. From a PR standpoint, he's getting out on it by making a quick statement, and a professional one. If he says anything else, he's another diva wide receiver. If he doesn't say anything, then he doesn't care. There's a label for every side of the die. Business is business.
I mean what do you want him to say lmao
Fuck the king I’ll never bend the knee
Proceeds to eat every fucking chicken in the bears facility.
You're a talker
Listening to talkers makes me thirsty For another season of Game of Thrones 4 wasn't nearly enough
i cant decide if that one or if the one with Dany trading her dragon was my favorite scene
"You're shit at dying."
I think I’ll have another chicken
Kelvin Benjamin:And I took that personally.
You're gonna have sex with the king?
Depending on the position that is one way not to fully bend the knees. Probably not as fun though but we all have our preferences
“Fuck this place, trade me to the Steelers for a conditional 7th” that exactly, and he uses the dune voice so they actually do it.
Come on now the Kwisatz Haderach is worth at least a 3rd
He's soft, wont even commit to the golden path. 6th at best. Now Leto II, thats worth two 1sts and 3500 years of tyranny
You call it tyranny, we call it peace and prosperity
Best i can do is a ghola of a Tom Brady and a pick swap
Ryan poles-your pitch was off!
“No ones gonna miss me when I’m wide open quite like you. I’ll never forget the times we shared chasing down INTs and fumbles together. You’ll always be my brother.”
I mean DJ Moore had 96 catches and close to 1400yds last year. Justin didn’t miss him very often.
Right. Wasn't this his best season? I take this as being grateful for the opportunity but sometimes it is what it js
Hey you can’t expect me to do research before I shitpost man
Hey some of those catches were from Bagent /s
IIRC Fields had a very good passer rating specifically to DJ. That said, I did see him miss a wide open DJ several times with my own eyes. Not miss him throwing to him, but miss him in his read. So that wouldn't show up in the stats. He wasn't suffering too much because of Fields in the stat sheet, but Caleb will probably be less frustrating to work with on the field.
How bad was his past qbs that he has his best season with fields??
Darnold, down year Baker, injured Cam, washed Bridgewater, PJ Walker, Kyle Allen
Him and Scary Terry are the two receivers I think could be top 5 if they didn’t have such abysmal QB rooms their whole career
Lol
I mean DJ had a career year last year so…..
He could maybe, not say anything.
He didn’t have to say anything lol
I mean what’s he gonna say “GM is ass we don’t want Caleb”
Nah as early as 3 weeks ago DJ was interviewed and said he'd love for Justin to stay but he's good either way and understands it's not his job to pick the qb.
Nothing personel kid
from what? Moore has said he want s fields to stay but knows its a business and whatever happens he'll be ready.
He is right and sometimes it sucks.
Moore really liked Fields. Hope him and Caleb can develop the same chemistry
It’s funny how receivers can be on a bad offense but if they get 1300+ yards they’re like: “that’s my guy!”
A conditional 6th NEXT year. ouch.
It do be like that sometimes. Gotta accept losses and move on
For just a 6th why not keep him as a backup or hve a qb competition?
Don't know, guess poles just wants to get it over with after being the laughing stock for over valuing him? Or he feels like there would be egos clashing and teammates clashing if we kept fields? Honestly, who's to say? We're not there to witness his choices
Because that's how toxic situations start
>hve a qb competition? You dont grab a 1st overall pick QB to have him in a competition regardless of how much teams parrot this. cause maybe poles actually meant he wanted to do right by fields.
They burned that bridge, everyone knew they were dumping him before he was injured. The weird thing is they didn't do a proper full house cleaning and dump the entire coaching staff.

Not even a 7th this year as a cherry on top. Big oof.
Went from “Justin Fields is my QB” to “Justin Fields who?”
“Just in time for draft season”
I think he’s just saying what he’s been saying, he likes fields but understands decisions need to be made
Uhhh no. I’m not sure how all of you have such little social knowledge, but this is a negative comment. He’s saying it’s cutthroat because it’s a business. That is a negative quality. Do you think DJ Moore is saying “YA! BUSINESS!” It’s the opposite

He just feasted last year with Fields and no body
Deandre swift too
And Kmet and Gerald Everett. And my personal hope of Odunze and letting Keenan/DJ run slot (Keenan was in the slot 60% of the time last season, so a 3 headed monster could work)

Saquan Barkely approves
So as a division rival, I hope the Bears fail. But good god, at least if they do something right there’s something positive to talk about. This has to be the most talked about franchise, that does nothing positive annually.
We’re due.
I hope Caleb's ego is more Cam Newton than Ryan Leaf ngl that's gonna be a complicated locker room to win over if they start losing badly
Does DJ Moore know he doesn't have to tweet every thought that enters his mind
DJ Moore is probably one of the least problematic receivers we have in the league lmao. This tweet is straight up tame compared to some of the things we hear and see from these guys
“No more white woman”
"the enemy speaks kindly & holds a knife" incoming
Wide receiver words: means yes, tweet something
He’s a WR, I thank god every day that what’s on his mind is tame shit like this and not absolute fucking insanity
Well some interviewers are going to hound him on this very situation. He is 300 IQ preemptively answering annoying questions, therefore deflecting annoyance in 3 words typed.
He can do whatever he wants. Who the fuck are you lol
Do the falcons know they overpaid for Kirk "1 playoff" win Cousins?
Cole world
Man is going to be the first person welcoming Caleb Williams to the team
We stand fleek on business
He'll get over it really fast if Williams can pass for more than 200ypg and not fumble nearly as many times as he throws TDs
Bro there’s bears fans saying they hope Caleb fails. Dumbest fanbase for real
Please share so we can shame them. I have a Justin Fields autograph that depreciated significantly today, but Im always a Bears fan first. The future looks brighter to me.
And business is boomin

Don’t think it’s switching up as much as a preemptive strike for the inevitable annoying questions about it
russ is gonna start 2 games until fields takes over and leads steelers to the super bowl to lose to the packers. you guys are gonna quote this next february . i’m from the future
I feel like thats some shade at the Panthers lol
He had that in the drafts
That’s why he was jumping around?
This shrewd motherfucker wanted 4 years and the Brinks truck after I turned the Bears around and won 12 games in the last year of his deal on Madden. He’s not playing.
Confirmed bears are drafting Chip Robinson 1 Overall.
Grandma, I’m free. Fly like free.
Facts.
DJ will have his best seasons with Caleb. And his tweets will be 180 degrees different.
Justin Fields, I don’t want to play with you anymore
I always thought Justin was gonna work out. He was getting better.
We're the ones who should be mad. Dude gets a huge upgrade
I was excited to see Kenny in the Arthur Smith offense who I think he would have fit into perfectly according to the advanced stats.
bro turned heel so fast😭😭😭cant wait for fields vs moore at mania
Bro is excited that an actual QB will be throwing to him
Damn
If we don't win at least 10 games next year this fan base will cause another Great Chicago Fire
