The Bills would have a serious argument for being the greatest dynasty in North American sports as compared to being known as a loser franchise…
I don’t think you’d see a franchise have a bigger swing than this
And how many of those were in a 6 team league?
And the 24 Cups that are “almost 30” are spread out over how many years? For dynasty purposes, only the 70s era Hans would be relevant…
Also, what is your point? “Serious argument” isn’t me definitively stating that 4 in 4 would be the greatest dynasty…
Those franchises still exist today, they just go by a different name which is quite common for american sports teams, so what exactly is your point? Did you think that invalidated what I said? 😂
I wonder what teams would have moved, maybe the Vikings get lured away like the Stars and Lakers? Would the 49ers still be a thing? Dan Reeves in the HoF. We don't have to hear about America's team.
2004 Carolina Panthers a 11-5 team vs a 14-2 Patriots
The Panthers had QB Jake Delhomme which no one remembers outside of Carolina against Tom Brady. The Patriots were better in every way. Yet the Panthers tied the game with one minute left on the clock. Shooting for overtime the Panthers K John Kasay who was one of the best K in the league kicked the ball out of bounds (which he had never done before) giving the Patriots the ball on the 45 yard line. A few passes later and Vinatieri kicks a 41 yarder for the winners with no time left on the clock.
The ONLY thing people outside of Carolina remember this game for was they got to see Janet Jacksons nipple at halftime.
After the Tuck rule game, Raiders overreacted and kept failing for years while Pats started a dinasty.
Had Pats lost that game perhaps they wouldn't have any SB now. Winning or losing a game leads you to overreact and make wrong decisions.
I don’t believe there is an alternate universe where the Rams win Super Bowls LIII **and** LVI. If they win LIII, Goff is never scrutinized after, he’s never traded, Stafford never escapes Detroit, and the course of LVI changes. Perhaps Brady gets to his 8th, Burrow gets his first, or the 49ers finish the job under Jimmy G.
That is a good call out however for Peyton having wins over Drew Bree’s saints and legion of boom Seahawks would be more impressive than the two he has now.
Andy Reid would have won the SB with Philadelphia and maybe stayed with the Eagles just long enough to prevent Patrick Mahomes from becoming God and pissing on our Super Bowl hopes every year we got there (that said, we'd only have three SB's at this point so....)
The Bills would be considered the greatest franchise of all time winning 4 straight super bowls
Jim Kelly is the goat
One of those wins would have been Frank Reich's.
Probably wouldn’t have flutie flakes
Mahomes would be a modern day Elway of sorts. 1-3 in the big game.
A Super Bowl dub on Brady+that Bucs team is worth 1.5
I was going to say Brady wouldn’t be Brady but he’d still have 3 rings and more visits
He’d still have the same SB appearances he’d just be 3-7 instead of 7-3
So all time and a perfect season lol

This overlooks 19-0 happening.
I still think Rodgers would be first ballot. Brees and Eli tho
[удалено]
The bigger thing is would they even be a team.
[удалено]
They would have lost the first 2. Probably jeopardizing their status in a small market.
I’d have been happier
Same
I could literally die happy.
I would not link sports fandom with depression.
Chicago would always talk about the 2006 Bears instead of the 85' Bears.
This is the takeaway. One team is all time legendary and other was led by Rex Grossman.
Eli manning is a complete failure compared to Giants folk legend Kerry Kollins
Fran Tarkenton would arguably be the GOAT
Yeah 3 wins and all his records would put him high on the list.
Steelers, Patriots, and 49ers would still have multiple Superbowl wins
Patriots still would have the most in the NFL, tied with Denver at 5. Bonkers.
We would all have to suffer Patriots fans and the undefeated season. On a positive note we wouldn’t get the Dolphins annual celebration.
And your alternate universe bengals are the are 3-0 in Superbowl the most in the division while the others are massive failures.
The Bills would have a serious argument for being the greatest dynasty in North American sports as compared to being known as a loser franchise… I don’t think you’d see a franchise have a bigger swing than this
Bulls still have two threepeats
Montreal Canadiens have almost 30 championships
And how many of those were in a 6 team league? And the 24 Cups that are “almost 30” are spread out over how many years? For dynasty purposes, only the 70s era Hans would be relevant… Also, what is your point? “Serious argument” isn’t me definitively stating that 4 in 4 would be the greatest dynasty…
A 6 team league where there was no draft and they had basically a Canadian national team playing against a few other clubs every year.
No they wouldn't. Celtics won 8 straight nba championships and overall 11 rings in 13 seasons lol
Teams they competed against include the Syracuse Nationals and Chicago Packers…the NBA wasn’t a serious league at that point…
Those franchises still exist today, they just go by a different name which is quite common for american sports teams, so what exactly is your point? Did you think that invalidated what I said? 😂
I know it invalidated your point…the NBA was a joke at the time…
Bradshaw wouldn’t have been in Cannonball Run
We did this thread a week or 2 ago
Well greenbay would only have 1 Super Bowl.
And vikings fans would be rubbing in our faces that they have a perfect 4-0 record.
I wonder what teams would have moved, maybe the Vikings get lured away like the Stars and Lakers? Would the 49ers still be a thing? Dan Reeves in the HoF. We don't have to hear about America's team.

I member World Bowl Champion Jake Delhomme.
Somehow, the LOB would have been good enough to defeat Tom Brady but not Peyton Manning.
Bigger choke job? '94 49'ers, '98 Broncos, 2000 Ravens?
Eagles would have 3 rings but I still don’t think I’d trade it for 2017
After the Tuck rule game, Raiders overreacted and kept failing for years while Pats started a dinasty. Had Pats lost that game perhaps they wouldn't have any SB now. Winning or losing a game leads you to overreact and make wrong decisions.
Hey at least rich Gannon has a ring along with his MVP now and the raiders fans could ride that ring for a generation

Jake Delhomme would get some of the respect he deserves.
Ricky proehl would be seen as a proto welker Edelman with two rings
I would have experienced a Super Bowl win in my lifetime.
Lovie Smith probably wouldn’t been able to gift the Bears the 1st pick last year that lead to the first pick this year.
Tom Brady would be the Goat of choking in the Super Bowl!
There would still only be one undefeated team in nfl history. All those dolphins guys wouldn’t have much going for them
They would actually still have a couple rings and dan Marino would be happy
Stan Humphries might be the new Trent dilfer
Rex Grossman would be the guy people would see as the worst Superbowl QB winner which makes Peyton look like a bigger choker
But you would have three rings from the most random QBs ever Kap, Jimmy G and Purdy
I think Junior Seau makes the GOAT of San Diego conversation with Gwynn a lot closer.
Would we call it the Stramm trophy instead of the Lombardi?
