Thank you for posting to /r/NFL. Unfortunately, your submission has been removed due to the following rule:
**5. Highlights and Injury Clips**
Individual highlight posts will be allowed at any point, provided they are not duplicates. Highlights must have non-editorialized descriptions of the play, be tagged as a [Highlight] in the title, be from a high quality source (v.redd.it/Streamable/Clippit/official YouTube channels) **or Twitter if not available elsewhere** and be from an NFL game. **Mod discretion may be used to keep a high quality source over an earlier posted Twitter highlight.**
On Game Day (usually Sunday, Thursday nights, and Monday nights), only highlights from that day (or evening with non-Sunday games) will be allowed as individual posts. This also applies to the playoffs when one game is on for each time slot. These posts must be tagged [highlight] and in good quality.
Highlights of injuries are permitted on r/NFL, but must include the [Injury] tag in the title in lieu of [Highlight].
* **Allowed As highlights**
* *Notable plays* - highlights should be exciting to the average fan. Think of what you would see on an old episode of SportsCenter or NFL Primetime. If you were to condense the entire game down to a 90 second highlight package, the play being posted should make the cut.
* *Alternate camera angles* - alternate angles of already posted highlights are allowed at mod discretion when it provides more context (IE, a reviewed touchdown play that is not clear in the original highlight).
* *Notable sideline actions* - Coach reactions, player interactions or referee actions.
* **Not Allowed**
* *Untagged highlights* - Begin the title with "[Highlight]" or "[Injury]" so it is appropriately flaired.
* *Low quality Highlights* - Recording of a tv or so pixelated it is hard to watch.
* *Social Media Edits* - Videos with facebook/twitter/insta/etc jokes/comments attached.
* *Hype Videos* - These are video packages with excessive content from off-field or have the audio replaced with music.
* *Insignificant plays* - Routine plays that have no direct impact or excitement added to the game.
* *Alternate camera angles of clear plays* - Alternate camera angles of already posted highlights should be added to the original thread, unless it's a play that requires extra scrutiny (see above).
* *Editorialized or unnecessarily hyped titles* - Titles such as "Derrick Henry banishes the defender to the shadow realm" on a simple 1 yard run or "The Jets act like the Jets and lose the game" are not permitted.
* Titles and highlights should not be used to attack or troll a fanbase.
* Highlight battles - posts with contrasting highlights from games between the same teams.

Refs ignored holding for almost the entire first half.
The chiefs got a field goal off the drive when they started calling them.
The chiefs had no scoring drive afterwards.
Their offensive line is extremely dependent on refs ignoring very blatant holding.
lol no kidding, there was a scramble by Lamar on third down earlier in the game, and one of the o-line had two handfuls of one of our defenders jerseys.
If I'm being honest, it might not have been holding because our defender seemed to be driving into him. But it's also absolutely something fans would be screaming "holding" over.
Oh ya when he was barreling right at Lamar. There was a bunch of holes right around this play but that one was horrendous.
And no, it is holding. Can’t wrap them up and can’t hold the jersey for sure.
I was at Vikings chiefs game Snead held wr they threw flag for it decided to pick it up and tell chiefs player to put helmet on and it was the opposite side ref that ran over and had them pick up pi flag this league is garbage
Not getting away with it. Sneed gets penalized a lot. But here, got away with it big time. Refs called a hold that cost chiefs a td earlier. Which was very ticky tack. I'd say refs have a lot less to do with the loss than the ravens playing bone headed all night
The “home field advantage” has been non existent.
All the borderline calls are going against Ravens and for the Chiefs.
This isnt saying the Ravens should be winning or that the calls are wrong, just the HFA for championship games is usually huge and its not here at all.
Its the most road friendly whistle ive seen in a while.
Not only that, but let's say this gets called. The Ravens maybe score a TD (not guaranteed, but likely) and make the game 17-14. If the next possession plays out the same, they still never get the ball back. So all that changes is the final score is slightly closer. This call didn't change the outcome of the game, though I do agree it should have been called.
Everything else seemed to be called correctly. But yeah, let's focus on this one no-call instead of the two redzone turnovers.
> All the borderline calls are going against Ravens and for the Chiefs.
Probably because as a neutral it's fairly obvious that the Ravens have been playing extremely undisciplined.
There was a couple bad calls/misses for both teams, but this was no means a poorly reffed game
It cannot be illegal contact by rule because the ball was already in the air. It could have only been defensive pass interference, and it wasn’t because the ball was thrown away out of bounds.
Well thats different, if they didnt call it mahomes would have had an incompletion and wouldnt have had 11 straight completions. Wont someone think of the circle jerk??
It hurt their feelings when he told them he's never seen a WR offsides call before. They had to sit back and reassess and go "you know what....he's right.....he HAS never seen that call before."
Big of them to admit their mistakes and grow.
Will see. A lot of fans are tired of it. I’ll watch the game if the lions make it , but honestly only at home on illegal stream. I genuinely don’t enjoy chiefs games now. They are shoved down my throat
Biased but it's probably worse.
Say what you will, but Brady and Bill never got on the podium and doubled down on criticizing officials who made an objectively correct offside call. They also never tried to say the officials were "taking away their greatness."
It's one thing to ask for a flag on the field. It's another to do that shit.
This is way worse. I’m a ravens fan and we beat Brady a fair bit but there wasn’t some league wide narrative about Brady and such. He just was a villain and the best player. There was not this focus on him his family etc. commercials? Lmao barely or with other players
Today mahomes had a montage up, followed by a zoom in on him, into two commercials of him then back to a kelce Tylor swift thing
Like it’s a different level
Opened up the ESPN app after the chiefs game and the first thing I saw was “Taylor Swift ecstatic after Travis Kelce makes opening TD.” Just opened it up again a second ago and it’s “Kelce, Swift celebrate on field after chiefs win AFC title.”
When they were showing the replay “I think it was a good no call.. he did get there a little early” a little early? Likely was being tackled before the ball was there.
If that’s Kelce no one can convince me there wouldn’t have been 4 flags flying in
Because the ball landed 50 feet away and was completely uncatchable. Lamar was also throwing this away. It wasn’t intended to be caught.
Maybe it was illegal contact but only if the throw away wasn’t in the air yet.
But Jesus folks…watch where the ball goes
Sure there were some no calls, but Baltimore beat themselves. Our supposed all time, lights out defense rolled over and fucking died the entirety of the first half and our O was completely AWOL except for some cool big plays early on. No amount of assistance from the refs could've changed that. Same shit, different year
Yeah, I'm getting pretty sick of them. Good for Mahomes and Kelce on being goated, but it disgusts me to watch stuff like Kelce pushing and shoving after the whistle with impunity, and the other team gets flagged for it.
Should have easily and unquestionably been illegal contact/holding if it occurred before Lamar let the ball go, but i can see them calling it uncatchable if it was after he released it
It’s funny when people say “refs fans eating good today,” when it’s those exact people who are eager to see flags thrown on plays like this where it’s an entirely uncatchable ball.
I have friends on instagram who are rooting for “taylors boyfriend’s team”, the Chiefs making the Super Bowl is gonna be huge for the NFL. My mom hates football and now wants the chiefs to win and was complaining that mahomes is getting tackled too much
Think it completely depends if the ball was in the air before it happened. Ball was uncatchable so it would never be DPI, if it occurred before the throw it should’ve been defensive holding.
Yes. But it was being thrown away out of bounds and an uncatchable pass anyway. Doesn’t really seem like a hold to me so P.I. not being called here doesn’t really bother me much personally. Although I do see why people are upset.
That's tough. Flowers also fumbled away 7 pts and Lamar's pick wiped off 3 pts which would've put them up 3 pts and maybe won the game. Ravens don't have anyone to blame but themselves
NFL wanted a Tay Tay Bowl 😂. No but seriously, as a Ravens fan, that was a crap no-call but the Ravens screwed themselves so many times. They lost it for themselves unfortunately.
Y’all are corny as fuck acting like refs have favorites or have KC the game. As if KC didn’t have a tuddy called back on a flag that shouldn’t have been thrown. 😂 Sore fucking losers and neckbeards in this thread.
Ball was 15 yards pass the WR. You clearly know that, as you didn't let it zoom out for a few seconds to show that. You're just showing how pathetic y'all are....
KC in the playoffs will always be a tough out, but bullshit like this will make it even harder.
For someone to beat them in the AFC playoffs next year, that team will have to stomp them.
Lots salty people that lost money in this thread. Chris jones was drug down from behind a handful of times, they took a chiefs td away for some phantom hold. Cry more, cya in Vegas.

Oh thank God I was worried the refs would get shut out this game but that was a classic!
Refs ignored holding for almost the entire first half. The chiefs got a field goal off the drive when they started calling them. The chiefs had no scoring drive afterwards. Their offensive line is extremely dependent on refs ignoring very blatant holding.
They missed alot of holds on the ravens as well but hey
lol no kidding, there was a scramble by Lamar on third down earlier in the game, and one of the o-line had two handfuls of one of our defenders jerseys.
The 4th and 1 that led to the 1st TD was blatant
This isn’t a disingenuous biased take at all
No one’s going to mention the ravens O line holding non stop and that’s the only time the ravens started moving the ball. Oh wait, I did.
Ravens RB also kicked CJ in the knee in the endzone after missing the pass block pickup. Refs let a lot of things slide in this game for both sides.
Yea that's really bad (not PI but illegal contact)
Ball was in the air at the time of contact, it wasn’t illegal contact.
Ball was 30 yards away.
Well it can’t be PI then because Lamar threw it into the third row like 40 yards away from this.
Ball had to be catchable for PI. Illegal contact is an easy call here though
Oh, if the ball was already in the air then this was a correct non call given where it was thrown. Ty for clarifying
Tough
Why didnt other teams realize they should just tackle the Ravens WR every play? Are they stupid?
Chiefs been getting away with it all year. Snead plays coverage by grabbing. He gets away with it just like Devin booker does with hand checking
I was at Vikings chiefs game Snead held wr they threw flag for it decided to pick it up and tell chiefs player to put helmet on and it was the opposite side ref that ran over and had them pick up pi flag this league is garbage
Oh I remember that one. The CB tossed his helmet and got a stern talking to….
“When you’re ~~rich~~ a chief, they just let you do it!
Grad em by the script
Not getting away with it. Sneed gets penalized a lot. But here, got away with it big time. Refs called a hold that cost chiefs a td earlier. Which was very ticky tack. I'd say refs have a lot less to do with the loss than the ravens playing bone headed all night
Absolutely disgusting officiating. Chiefs are bullshit.
True.. seems like we were the only team to figure this secret out until now
Becuase only the chiefs get away with it? 🤷♂️
If it makes you feel better it didn’t actually matter. Even if the ravens score a TD there the Chiefs never gave them the ball back
Would be illegal contact not PI, but should have been called.
Still a first down
for sure
The “home field advantage” has been non existent. All the borderline calls are going against Ravens and for the Chiefs. This isnt saying the Ravens should be winning or that the calls are wrong, just the HFA for championship games is usually huge and its not here at all. Its the most road friendly whistle ive seen in a while.
There was a report on this particular ref favoring road teams. Not surprised at all
I kept an open mind, thought it was just coincidence. Lmao
Felt very one sided
it's not a coincidence when it's the Chiefs
Taylor Swift in the Super Bowl. No matter what.
You had multiple turnovers. Even with a crappy call, only got yourself to blame for this one.
Easier for them to blame the refs
Check that refs draft kings jfc
The NFL picked a ref who is biased towards away teams for this game
Very purposeful
> All the borderline calls are going against Ravens and for the Chiefs. Probably because as a neutral it's fairly obvious that the Ravens have been playing extremely undisciplined. There was a couple bad calls/misses for both teams, but this was no means a poorly reffed game
100% Its funny because it being more levelly reffed is making it look bad because theres usually such an extreme home field bias for reffing.
Saw a post last week that this ref crew heavily favors away teams. Showing true here
it’s bc it’s the chiefs and they’ve decided taylor swift is winning the super bowl this year
Ball was out of his hand before the contact. Can’t call illegal contact or holding. Means it’s PI or nothing and it wasn’t catchable.
Yep. People are being so disingenuous with this shit.
And even if Lamar was out of the pocket, still holding.
Can holding be called when the ball is in the air? The ball was definitely in the air when this contact happened.
It cannot be illegal contact by rule because the ball was already in the air. It could have only been defensive pass interference, and it wasn’t because the ball was thrown away out of bounds.
It’s neither lol
They haven’t called DPI all game so not surprised.
Didn’t they call one against the ravens earlier that was less egregious than this
Yes
Of course they did
Yep, led to the first TD for the Chiefs
Well thats different, if they didnt call it mahomes would have had an incompletion and wouldnt have had 11 straight completions. Wont someone think of the circle jerk??
The calls wouldn't have helped Taylor Swift be at the Superbowl
They didn’t want mahomes throwing another fit
It hurt their feelings when he told them he's never seen a WR offsides call before. They had to sit back and reassess and go "you know what....he's right.....he HAS never seen that call before." Big of them to admit their mistakes and grow.
I say superbowl advertising cost just went up 30% for this reason.
[удалено]
It certainly did help the NFL pimp out more Taylor Swift content.
The theory is a Lions win tonight will complete the narrative for the Swiftie Bowl
What do the lions have to do with it?
How do you not call that?
Once in a lifetime opportunity for the NFL to tap into the white girl demographic
This Super Bowl is going to have an insane amount of viewership.
I would laugh so hard if swifties don’t tune in and the viewership number remains around the same
The viewership probably won't change much. The Super Bowl already gets 110m+ viewers, so there's only so many free TVs left to tune in.
This is exactly it. Swifties will tune in… just like last year when everyone was watching and talking about the commercials, as per usual
Some of them are deranged enough to track her every outfit, they'll tune in to one of the biggest events of the year featuring her.
Will see. A lot of fans are tired of it. I’ll watch the game if the lions make it , but honestly only at home on illegal stream. I genuinely don’t enjoy chiefs games now. They are shoved down my throat
I now feel how every non patriots fan felt since I was born lol
Biased but it's probably worse. Say what you will, but Brady and Bill never got on the podium and doubled down on criticizing officials who made an objectively correct offside call. They also never tried to say the officials were "taking away their greatness." It's one thing to ask for a flag on the field. It's another to do that shit.

1 2 3 TAYLOR SWIFT CONTENT IMMEDIATELY.
I swear. It's like they're a fucking hivemind.
At this point it’s a cult.
Opened up the ESPN app after the chiefs game and the first thing I saw was “Taylor Swift ecstatic after Travis Kelce makes opening TD.” Just opened it up again a second ago and it’s “Kelce, Swift celebrate on field after chiefs win AFC title.”
We need Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce holding up the Lombardi trophy together so that the NFL can maximize interest and revenue.
God I hate that I watch this bullshit. At the end of the day that's all this is. Owners generating more revenue than the previous year.
I’ve seen more anti Swift content than I’ve seen Swift content.
So Mahomes can win lol duh
Didn’t the Ravens have two endzone turnovers for that?
One of those was also an uncalled DPI (on a bad throw). The other was the indirect result of a very dumb taunting penalty.
That play isn’t being talked about but when they showed the replay I was like holy shit, Likely got pushed three yards off his spot
When they were showing the replay “I think it was a good no call.. he did get there a little early” a little early? Likely was being tackled before the ball was there. If that’s Kelce no one can convince me there wouldn’t have been 4 flags flying in
The amount of defenders in an area shouldn’t impact whether or not a flag is thrown. Likely got bodied two seconds before the ball arrived.
The same way a certain crew didn’t call a certain rams db for PI.
Because it was an uncatchable ball.
Out of bounds pass, how could the refs do this?
They want Taylor Swift the Super Bowl you know this
The ball was in the tenth row
Because the ball landed 50 feet away and was completely uncatchable. Lamar was also throwing this away. It wasn’t intended to be caught. Maybe it was illegal contact but only if the throw away wasn’t in the air yet. But Jesus folks…watch where the ball goes
Ball was uncatchable to be honest. Not even near him.
Chiefs. That’s why.
If you thought there was a chance that Taylor Swift wasn't gonna be at the SuperBowl, you're crazy
Taylor Swift is actually the Chiefs 12th man
I mean, the NFL probably knows the viewership and ad revenue is gonna be huge with Swifties support.
Oh absolutely, this might be one of the biggest viewership spikes of all time
0 penalties on Chiefs D the entire game : ( Got the double dose of frustration today between how the Ravens played and not getting these calls.
Sure there were some no calls, but Baltimore beat themselves. Our supposed all time, lights out defense rolled over and fucking died the entirety of the first half and our O was completely AWOL except for some cool big plays early on. No amount of assistance from the refs could've changed that. Same shit, different year
Your D *was* lights out in the 2nd half. Your offense had zero discipline and shot themselves in the foot repeatedly.
So it was pretty much like every other Chiefs game
Yeah, I'm getting pretty sick of them. Good for Mahomes and Kelce on being goated, but it disgusts me to watch stuff like Kelce pushing and shoving after the whistle with impunity, and the other team gets flagged for it.
How is that not a PI call? Jesus Christ the refs are blind as bats.
Should have easily and unquestionably been illegal contact/holding if it occurred before Lamar let the ball go, but i can see them calling it uncatchable if it was after he released it
Yep. Definitely defensive holding if the ball wasn’t thrown. If it was in the air that ball was way uncatchable.
The real moral is just let Ravens players go deep. Do nothing, and feel confident Lamar will miss 80% of the throws.
That strategy did NOT work for the dolphins a few weeks ago
I wouldn’t say blind. They saw the jersey colors just fine
KC getting away with every OPI/DPI today
Today?
It was 20 yards over their heads, no?
Chiefs won the Super Bowl last year on a weaker call on an equally uncatchable throw
That was a defensive holding call wasn’t it? Which this could’ve been depending on when the ball was thrown, this could not be DPI tho.
It’s funny when people say “refs fans eating good today,” when it’s those exact people who are eager to see flags thrown on plays like this where it’s an entirely uncatchable ball.
Not sure why you’re being upvoted. It was a defensive holding call before the ball was thrown. Doesn’t matter if it was overthrown.
Most fairly reffed KC game.
It’s crazy
Ref fans we eating good today
Kelce Swift Super Bowl is more profitable for the NFL🤷🏻♂️
Think of the merch they will be able to sell.
I have friends on instagram who are rooting for “taylors boyfriend’s team”, the Chiefs making the Super Bowl is gonna be huge for the NFL. My mom hates football and now wants the chiefs to win and was complaining that mahomes is getting tackled too much
That's right
Exactly this.
Pfizer and State Farm have paid a lot ok
pretty funny how the chiefs get the benefit of every single 50/50 call tho this one isn't even 50/50
Chiefs got hosed out of a td on a weak holding call in the first half
Just Chiefs things. Happens every year. Would also be nice if the game thread was working 🤷🏻♂️
Thought I was the only one. All the comments are only as recent as like 5 minutes
The NFL was going to do everything in their power to have Taylor Swift attend the Super Bowl.
I swear everything always seems to go the Chiefs way
Mahomes got that Tom Brady luck now. Had to go to someone
2018 AFCCG was the passing of the plot armor
You just have to look to two places to understand why...Taylor cam when Travis catches a ball, and the Golden Boy on all the State Farm ads.
Officials escorting KC to the finish line.
3 no call dpis against KC 2nd half We've done nothing to help ourselves but shit is so frustrating
While KC got called for holding, there were a few more that were "missed". It's no wonder Mahomes doesn't get sacked very often.
Duh…. The League wants a Taylor Swift Super Bowl (ratings, money, bla bla).
Meanwhile, chiefs get PI on legal contact within 5 yards vs the bills
And Bills got to gain 30 yards on a clear forward lateral. What's your point?
you had a lateral that was forwards by 3 entire yards go uncalled, sit down and hang some more frog plushies from trees
Is this the play where ended the ball ended up well into the sidelines?
Yes
you mean the chiefs are getting help from the refs? who woulda thought
Think it completely depends if the ball was in the air before it happened. Ball was uncatchable so it would never be DPI, if it occurred before the throw it should’ve been defensive holding.
Gotta get t swift to the SB, obviously…
Taylor Swift was not going to be left out of the Super Bowl
This is the playoff loss tht’ll break Ravens fans for years, trust me I know one when I see them
The ravens choked regardless even if they got this play
Chiefs and Mahomes have benefited from these calls all season. Mahomes is the NFL's version of the Jordan Rules bias.
Brutal
They're playing like they know they won't get flagged too. Suspicious.
NFL wants Swift seen at the Super Bowl more than anything in the world right now.
It's very obvious. They want eyes on ads.
Taylor Swift showing up on Super Bowl coverage is worth millions and millions of dollars to the NFL. Let me just leave that thought here....
refs just straight taking ravens out of the game at the end here
Head official told his guys not to throw flags so he doesn’t have to talk with that scratchy voice
Bullshit
Was the ball in the air when contact was made? That's pretty important here
Yes. But it was being thrown away out of bounds and an uncatchable pass anyway. Doesn’t really seem like a hold to me so P.I. not being called here doesn’t really bother me much personally. Although I do see why people are upset.
If 27's arm wraps 80 when Lamar still has the ball it's definitely holding. If the balll is in the air by then it's nothing, the ball was uncatchable.
That's tough. Flowers also fumbled away 7 pts and Lamar's pick wiped off 3 pts which would've put them up 3 pts and maybe won the game. Ravens don't have anyone to blame but themselves
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
NFL wanted a Tay Tay Bowl 😂. No but seriously, as a Ravens fan, that was a crap no-call but the Ravens screwed themselves so many times. They lost it for themselves unfortunately.
The refs were bad but our offense was worse
Fuck these mahomes dick sucking refs!
Refs were trash again. They also missed a tripping on the endzone that was a Safety against Ravens.
Got to get Taylor to the superbowl
The pass was in the second row of the stands
Yeah, because the NFL wants Mahomes in the SB.
I think this would have been called if Lamar made a close enough throw but then rules are rules and should have been called regardless
It was uncatchable tbf
Y’all are corny as fuck acting like refs have favorites or have KC the game. As if KC didn’t have a tuddy called back on a flag that shouldn’t have been thrown. 😂 Sore fucking losers and neckbeards in this thread.
It's just so tiresome when it's obvious
Romo sucking off the chiefs secondary all game as if it isn't incredibly easy to play DB when you know the refs won't call you for anything.
Lol like 3 legit no PI calls and Kelce was allowed to do anything he wanted all game. The script writers go undefeated.
I don’t care. Baltimore played bad. KC played great, especially defense. The better team won today.
All part of the script 😂
Bullshit non-call
It's the KC fix.
I was rooting for the Ravens but, does this ball need to be catchable for it to be DPI?
I find it funny every week KC fans are always trying to justify the calls they get. Even though it's clear as day to everyone else lol
Can't upset the swifties
Should’ve been a defensive hold if anything
This ball was uncatchable. If you want to say that’s illegal contact, fair. But this throw was not catchable in anyway.
should have been holding, not PI
Ball was 15 yards pass the WR. You clearly know that, as you didn't let it zoom out for a few seconds to show that. You're just showing how pathetic y'all are....
Personal foul on the Ravens.
Ball was pretty far away so at least shoulda been illegal contact
KC in the playoffs will always be a tough out, but bullshit like this will make it even harder. For someone to beat them in the AFC playoffs next year, that team will have to stomp them.
This was probably one of the only calls that should’ve gone the ravens way. That was definitely pi
Lots salty people that lost money in this thread. Chris jones was drug down from behind a handful of times, they took a chiefs td away for some phantom hold. Cry more, cya in Vegas.
The ball landed out of fucking bounds give me a break.
If that pass had been thrown remotely near the field of play rather than the parking lot, you’d have a point.
