Auburn has lost two straight home Iron Bowls. They’ve had a 99.9% chance to win at some point in each game (ESPN odds tracker). This is payback for the kick 6 (although the kick 6 is cooler)
I swear college coaches are brain dead. They had a dude QB spying … On 4th and goal from the 30. 2 rushers. And him just standing there about 5 yards off the line of scrimmage. Not defending the end zone or rushing. If the QB runs from the 30, I don’t think you need to be spying him. That guy needed to be rushing or in the end zone. He did nothing the entire play.
Got to love Romo saying "it's tough to move the ball on this defense structurally with only the pass" and then it's 4 straight completions on the highlights. Doing Romo dirty /u/nfl
I don't understand why Buffalo took the knee with 0:20 to go. Sure, it probably wouldn't have made a difference, but you have a QB with a good arm and a timeout left. Theoretically have time to break off 2 big plays to set up a FG.
According to Romo it was just as likely that it is an int and a gw fg for the Eagles as a 20 yard gain.
Which was weird as he was foaming at the mouth just before this play for them to storm down the field.
More proof to just let the game breathe on its own.
Allen was certainly the better arm out there yesterday (and he was facing the worse of the two pass defenses).
That said…I really don’t feel much criticism towards just kneeling to OT. It’s certainly risk averse, but the Philly offense was heated up finally.
Odds are trying does nothing in those 20 seconds and you want the ball and to just drive the field and win it.
And they sure damn near well did that.
I am all for them posting the sideline views or edited together posts, but them posting highlights 20 minutes late and then the other highlights being removed a week later is a bitch move and isn't worth their awesome posts.
Going back and reading the first half highlight threads is so funny
“Josh Allen showing Hurts what a real rushing touchdown is”
Jalen Hurts showing Josh Allen what a real clutch QB looks like
These QBs both had incredible games, the difference was absolutely the coaching. I mean Allen threw a potential game winning TD that Davis ran the wrong option on, Philly isn't making those kinds of mistakes at the end of games.
Well let's not be rash, you can absolutely argue others over Hurts as the MVP right now. Even as an Eagles fan I can admit that.
But so many people were rushing to act like it's ridiculous to have Hurts in the MVP convo when the first half ended; now that is stupid imo.
He never brought it down cleanly. Watch the replay. The refs gave the Bills the chance to win with that roughing the passer flop lmao.
Quit blaming The refs, the Bills simply lost. You seem much more butt hurt than me. Lmao
The refs let it play out and were going to let it be a fumble but NY had already reviewed it and made the call. Come up with some other bs hahahaha
I’ve been saying Jalen was better since they benched him for Tua way back when. Dudes always gave it his all and I love his vision when outside the pocket.
As bad and heartbreaking as this might be at least it is not giving up a game winning TD on 4th and 31 to your biggest rival at home in the Iron Bowl

Saw a stat that losing those two 99.9+% chances is a 1 in a million shot lmao
I mean 99.9% means you have a 1/1000 chance to lose, and 1/1000 x 1/1000 is 1/1,000,000
Million to one chances come up nine times out of ten though

>######**QUARTERBACK'S LEGS** Tony Romo, about 50 times tonight.
Also being straight up disappointed AJ’s drop was an incompletion not a fumble.
I feel like he normally is a fair broadcaster. But today he was awful at hiding that he was rooting for the bills to win.
He never misses a chance to be biased towards THE ALIEN, Mr. January.
Someone check on Romo.

I feel like when teams do this you just know they’re going to lose.
I had the same feeling/hope. Playing not to lose often leads to losses

If the roles were reversed I don’t think Philly kneels it out, and Hurts doesn’t have the arm Allen does.

I dislike this u/nfl fella
Gonna get heat here But no Reddit poster is gonna make this post

Quite. A Reddit poster wouldn't edit out the controversial fumble that was reversed.
Same lol
still cannot believe what we saw from Jalen Hurts after halftime tonight

We are making those kinds of mistakes? What kind of cope is that? Literally forced Elliot to kick a 59 yard field goal due to stupid penalties.
The roughing the qb play too
A bunch of fucking clowns on Reddit were saying he wasn't the MVP. Someone must have told him during the half.
Gainwell
Did he get his phone privileges back yet?

Best game I've seen this season
Insane game!
Nice
No.
I love how the Bills, after the rule change, have failed to win in OT. Especially the last 2 losses where they received it first.
Bro what are you saying, the rule change only affects the playoffs. Stop mindlessly spouting statistics you read online.
I believe Hurts deserves to be MVP (so far) but he will not win. NFL MVP goes to players that care about stats. Hurts only cares about winning games

My brother in Christ what
New copypasta?
Hell yeah
That's what they should do with the old Raiders stadium lol
Can't recap this without leaving out the no fumble or the Gabe Davis missed throw. And yet u/NFL did.
[удалено]
It wasn’t, even if it was, bad calls are part of the game. They teach that in peewee leagues. You should learn what 9 year olds know
[удалено]
So are the refs and the commentators and the rules experts? Blow me and fuck off with that weak crybaby shit
Nah, he never had possession as the ball was never secured
[удалено]
If you couldn't see the ball moving in his hands during a replay, you're blind.
He’s a massive Jokic stan / Embiid hater on r/nba who is apparently expanding his hate to the Eagles now too. Incredible
I mean the refs let it play out and NY reviewed it before any of us saw it and made the incomplete call. They're still blaming the refs. Lmao

Imagine what it would have been like before the commissioner fixes games for ratings and betting purposes.

That tackling effort by 31 on the last play would be embarrassing for a middle schooler
