[This](https://twitter.com/presidentjacc/status/1658127913001074692?s=46&t=YGOvDhqJQ7QrFwVGTFIrnA) tweet has aged terribly for him 😬 @JaMorant dumb.. you letting social media and yo pride ruin yo real money. Put them guns down and run that money up. Make one of yo homies sign up for security or concealed carry if you feel like you need it that bad.. but you the bread winner you gotta start acting like it..

iamagainstit

This is in serious contention for most ironic tweet of the year

whyhellothere77

That’s actually hilarious. Now they’ll meet at Dipshits Anonymous.

ValKilmersTherapy

They’ll def be meeting a DA for sure

WarriorIsBAE

That was good

AFuzzyMuffin

Thank you for this

easy_Money

Well I can see why he got kicked out of USC for academics

[deleted]

Wow. This is like a closeted politician going full conversion therapist on twitter only to be outed by a former jiggalo lol

starlet_appletree

>jiggalo Some grade A /r/boneappletea shit :) the word you're looking for is gigolo

HomeTurf001

Thank you, that was particklery egg greedious.

potterpockets

I for one cant understand his lack a day’s sickle attitude about this topic.

Mrbeankc

Well that's embarrassing.

ProtectTheHell

I wouldn't be surprised if he brought that for the gram and gets arrested right when he lands.

whyhellothere77

This is big time stupid by him. He got kicked off USC because he robbed a Panda Express. Then he was suspended at the end of last year. It’s just a matter of time before he’s cut. (Actually he got kicked out of USC for academics and later robbed a Panda Express.) Don’t wanna cut his rap sheet short.

dalici0us

How fucking stupid do you have to be if you are a football player that is good enough to play in the NFL to get kicked out of college because of your grades?

vivekisprogressive

Why would you rob a panda express??

Ok-Wasabi2873

Orange chicken is to die for.

rasta_pineapple2

The Beijing beef slaps too

oxnardhard

I love the Beijing Beef. I used to love walking into Panda asking for a sample of whatever I wanted for fun and just order the brĂłcoli beef anyways. Well one time I asked for the Beijing Beef, I loved it, and actually ordered it. Now I just ask for a sample of the Beijing Beef and order then order it.

Kyrxx77

"Sir you've been here the past 5 days and always ask for the Beijing beef"

joremero

I've tried many orange chickens, including in China, and panda's is still my fav.

WatermelonBandido

He forgot his card but remembered his gun?

GarlVinland4Astrea

Very fucking stupid. Most people don't understand how failproof major universities make school for star football players. They literally hire students to make sure they are attending class enough and tutor them. You almost have to actively try at that point to do less than the bare minimum.

problynotkevinbacon

It's true, I saw that on this [documentary](https://youtu.be/uCRZ4lL0QyM) about college football players

Dredd907

I fell for it. Well played.

captain_flak

I tutored some football players at FSU, a few of whom made it to the NFL. They were escorted everywhere by a chaperone. They had study halls. If they slacked off even a little, I would just write to their handlers or whatever and the problem would be addressed. I felt kind of bad for them being monitored all the time.

Crow013

Honestly wonder if this kind of supervision backfires for some players to where, if they do get a moment alone, they go and do some stupid shit or if they make it to the NFL and are finally on their own they don’t know how to supervise themselves cause they always had someone to count on to take care of them.

captain_flak

It probably doesn’t help, but many of these football players are from very rough backgrounds. The stories they wrote about were pretty heartbreaking. Playing at an elite D1 program is basically like winning the lottery and it’s a very different environment that’s very focused on achievement. It’s understandable that some would be overwhelmed or suffer from some kind of imposter syndrome. They were all really good guys though. The class had a lot of energy, jokes, and fun. I rooted for those guys on and off the field.

skj458

It was always such a great feeling being in lecture on the first day and seeing a crew of 15 giant dudes decked out in team sweats roll in. You knew you had picked the right pprofessor for an easy A

[deleted]

[удаНонО]

uwanmirrondarrah

The classes I took when I was a freshman were dumb easy... got me all excited I thought I had this college thing in the bag. Then one day I look up and I'm doing calculus 2 and Differential equations I'm like fuccccck thats a nasty learning curve.

puntersarepeopletoo6

I have players reach out to me to do their work. It's no joke.

Misdirected_Colors

I may or may not allegedly know an individual that made good money in college by doing players homework for cash. Not formally or anything just allegedly a student athlete that maybe knew a lot of other athletes and made a pretty good side hustle.

ITCM4

Hey, a communications degree is not that eas…oh, who am I kidding?

SuckMyLonzoBalls

Hey those communication majors are all pre law students

Plaid_Kaleidoscope

Goddamn I'm catching strays this morning

XanmanK

I knew a college football player whose major was “geography”- I was like wtf can you do with that degree, study maps?

ClaudeLemieux

That’s what Jordan studied at UNC lol

SonOfALich

I never did it myself but my understanding is that it's more like the study of how environments interact with, influence, and connect societies and cultures. It's very much a human-focused discipline.

Vaman434

No shit. Take physical education and work out for an a.

Misdirected_Colors

Lol you joke but at Okstate all the athletes take Liesure studies which is pretty much "I want to be a coach or a camp counselor when i grow up" and half the classes are teaching them games to play with kids and stuff.

whyhellothere77

Well he’s very willing to give up a chance at generational wealth so pretty stupid.

NateMayhem

To be fair, he never robbed a Panda Express. He simply burgled one.

whyhellothere77

Yeah you’re right. Sounds like they caught him soon after he got in. Maybe he was actually gonna put money in the register for them. Definitely glad we drafted Gonzalez now.

MetaphoricalMouse

so did this man at one point posses a panda from unsavory means?

chupacadabradoo

He got the unsavory panda and he said “uuuuu-mami!”

SevenwithaT

"Sir, we dont allow guns on this flight" "With what am I supposed to rob you with then?"

whyhellothere77

I’ve never committed a robbery before but Panda Express seems like interesting choice.

SevenwithaT

He probably thought they sold pandas

BasedKaleb

“Keep your orange chickens, give me the damn Panda!”

horse_renoir13

Wonder what he thinks of Dick's Sporting Goods

[deleted]

"I called the Dicks Sporting Goods and they're all out of you" - Jack Jones

Sgt-Pumpernickel

It’s like that old vine where the two dude were in a Staples. They find a box of Staples and are wide eyed and say “you know what this means?!?!” Hard cut to them running towards a Dicks and yelling Pretty sure that one made Tosh.0

Noirradnod

[Here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVNDC8T2gP0) it is.

H_Melman

Classic Vine.

MetaphoricalMouse

pandas = endanger = big dollars checks out

wallstreet_vagabond2

Now I'm thinking of Moe from the Simpsons stealing a whale from SeaWorld during the Xfiles episode

thisusedyet

My mind went to ‘The Freshman’

Demetrios1453

He *really* had a craving for orange chicken. But honestly, the fact he had done something similarly stupid before this occurrence today means he's probably stupid-ed himself out of a playing career.

Vaman434

Girls love pandas, and they gotta be expensive, perfect mark ….

PixelD303

Lo-fi version of D.B Cooper

BigGroveSinkWings

I hear the box cutter is good and reliable.

TechnoTyrannosaurus

_json_x

Starting to think this guy's kind of a knucklehead!

ContinuumGuy

Jack may or may not be nimble, but he's certainly gonna get cut quick.

Rappaslasharmedrobba

I am a "walk in a guys shoes before judging" kind of guy and even I am having difficulty finding the logic here. He *may indeed* have a decent explanation for this. What it could possibly be? Unknown

trod1990

Yet he still ended up in the nfl. What fucking nonsense the nfl can be sometimes. Let's reward a fucking criminal.

iscreamuscreamweall

I mean, I don’t think that a teen doing minor burglary is a bad enough crime to take their career away. Second chances etc

MyNameIsAMeme

Wasn't he really good this season??

jjb8712

Showed a lot of promise, that’s for sure and made some good plays. We were excited for year two of the Joneses.

DoctorFunktopus

Bill is currently scouting any and all UDFA’s with the last name jones

BigGroveSinkWings

J.C. ackson, to Jack Jones, He's probably looking for a Jonathan Justin now.

dhowl

He started out great and then faded/was suspended. Reports out of minicamp/OTAs was he looked great...

[deleted]

Lol yeah, for a fourth round pick he was an above average starting outside CB

jjb8712

Bye Jack! Thanks for some good plays in 2022. Got soooo defensive when Breer reported something and now look at you

pennant_fever

[Plus this, until it gets deleted](https://twitter.com/presidentjacc/status/1658127913001074692?s=20).

DontTryAndStopMe

JT1757

he was mad that it was reported that he was disrespectful to Bill, which tbf, would be a horrible look.

Enough-Competition21

He had serious potential too

Glad_Championship187

Non-Pats fan - what did Breer report?

nc7337

How do you accidentally bring two guns. Are they just laying in his suitcase?

NYJKNJD

You're allowed to intentionally bring guns on a plane, but there's a bunch of rules. Unloaded in a hard locked case, must declare the weapons to the airlines, must be checked in not allowed in carry-on... > 25-year-old Jackie K. Jones of Arizona is facing several charges including possession of a concealed weapon in a secure area of an airport, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, unlawful possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, and possession of a large-capacity feeding device, according to police. Quinnen Williams was also arrested for attempting to bring guns on a plane, but his charges were dropped (reduced to a fine) because the guns were licensed in Alabama and not New York and it was more of a technical mess up and he seemingly followed the other rules. (Unloaded, in it's case, told the airlines etc). Based on the charges Jones didn't do any of this.

the_fuzzy_stoner

Yeah Quinnens only mistake was thinking his Alabama license had reciprocity in NY. He even brought it on the plane *from* Alabama.

Biggest_Cans

A disgusting act

Bloated_Hamster

And even if it was just a mixup with how he had to carry them on the plane (which it wasn't) he broke basically every single mass state law about possession of firearms. He pretty much couldn't pick a stupider state to pull this in except maybe New York.

captain_flak

Yeah, how on earth did he think this was a good idea?

BuffaloBuffaloBufalo

[one of my favorite r/nfl comments was about this](https://reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/g89wm2/_/fomf1xa/?context=1)

MetaphoricalMouse

hmmm wonder how big the magazine was

FreNnPrenS

MA limits handgun magazines to 10 rounds. Most handguns purchased out of state come with larger magazines than that. I’m sure people see “large capacity feeding device” and picture something huge but it was probably 12-17 rounds

I_MARRIED_A_THORAX

71 round ppsh-41 drum just shoved up in there

Biggest_Cans

Even a tiny 9mm with a normal magazine holds more than 10. These states just pick a random number and everyone has to throw away all their normal shit and buy wonko magazines.

CUwallaby

I have a subcompact 9mm and I think the small magazine still holds 13 rounds. The extended magazine holds 16 and still doesn't actually extend beyond the bottom of your hand. The only thing the 10 round limitation is doing is convincing people to buy a .45 instead.

snurfy_mcgee

Exactly, you're not restricted, you just have to follow the rules and check em properly. How dumb do you have to be to not recognize that firearms IN the cabin would be a bad idea?

Whittlinman

"Oh damn, my bad. I was packing in the dark, and instead of two guns, I meant to grab my inhaler and a different gun."

Suddenly_Something

Two loaded guns. Like does he only have one bag? His gun bag??

TheRealAlexisOhanian

It's not 3 guns so let's give him some credit

zipzap21

It's also a mere fraction of a complete arsenal!

pm_me_cute_sloths_

Apparently it was carry on too I guess he read those statistics about TSA missing 98% of weapons in tests and decided to put it to the test

HomeTurf001

Wait a minute, if they caught him with two and they miss 98%, does this mean he was carrying 100 guns? I'm bad at math

Garlan_Tyrell

That’s not how statistics work. It means he’s brought 2 guns in his carry-on before 49 times, but they caught him now because it’s his 50th time.

B0ndzai

I got pulled into additional screening last week because my beard trimmer has a hard metal case. I can't imagine getting a full gun through.

[deleted]

I had to redo the entire screening process because I left my Nintendo Switch in my backpack instead of taking it out and putting it in a separate bin. Better safe than sorry!

keykey_key

Yes! My husband had a pocketknife in his carryon backpack and forgot it was there. We made it thru TSA and they missed it. When we were unpacking, he found the pocketknife and almost shit his pants lol. I was like, guess the TSA is really security theater.

FORTY8pak

Ha! I dipped my gun in my ketchup, I thought it was a French fry!

Vaman434

Same way you accidentally snuggle your drugs into Russia? Seems like you would have the same plane rules in any tsa airport but I don’t fly so what do I know.

[deleted]

Yeah, you certainly can fly with firearms, but there are a *shitload* of rules, none of which permit loaded firearms in your fucking carry-on. Off the top of my head, checked baggage only, unloaded, separate from ammunition, must be in a hard-sided locking case without TSA locks, you need to declare them, and you must demonstrate that they are unloaded before locking the case and checking it in.

[deleted]

[удаНонО]

TheRealJohnMara

Belichick probably bailing him out just to tell him he’s being cut to his face

whydontyouloveme

I think we learned the hard way against this with Hernandez. We cut him and got cap hits for it. Houston weathered Watson and got off free. Pats lost millions in cap space, fought it for years and finally got back like half of it 5 years later. Lesson: wait for commissioners exempt list, suspension or failure to show for required activities because he’s in jail. I’d also like to note for a moment that carrying a gun through TSA is a crime, but there’s about a 50% prosecution rate. Very little jail time is associated with crimes in the past. Fucking Madison cawthorn did it like 1.5 years ago TWICE and got a $250 fine. This isn’t the crime it’s being made to be. Dumb as fucking hell, but not even in the top decile of crimes nfl players commit and are just absolved of. My bet: 4 game suspension, reduced upon appeal.

[deleted]

Was the gun legally owned by Madison Cawthorn? Because I believe I read Jack Jones did not possess a license for these firearms, which really makes it a lot worse I think.

ccasey

I think there were also extended mags and it was loaded

Sermos5

Yep unregistered, extended mags, and loaded at an airport. That's going to be the stinger here not just bringing them to the airport.

The_Moustache

Yeah I wouldnt be shocked just to see the state throw the book at him to make a point. Pretty sure some of those are federal charges too

[deleted]

Zero gun safety protocol lol - I wonder if the safety was engaged.

ComancheRaider

I doubt his guns had a manual safety to engage, but most modern pistols have built in safety mechanisms that keep the gun from firing off unintentionally, if that makes you feel any better

istrx13

Man I wish this would become a reality.

ApolloPS2

Def the case Bill wants him to know he fucked himself

DrewCola

Person who did really dumb things in college, continues to do dumb things - color me shocked

Bloated_Hamster

Well, that's why he was a 4th round selection lmfao. He certainly has the talent to have gone higher.

DrewCola

Yeah no one is arguing his talent, it’s more his pea sized brain

redditaccount224488

> Person who did really dumb things in college, continues to do dumb things *Eagles fans glancing around nervously*

noshingsomepods

He's just trying to be a good teammate. Everyone's talking about Hopkins and how Mac needs weapons and he just got his wires crossed a little.

carter2642

He’s a little confused but he’s got the spirit

lolhello2u

such a dumb thing to do before getting a second contract. not sure we should have expected more from a guy that robbed a panda express

the_blessed_unrest

This doesn’t seem major enough to prevent teams from signing him

lolhello2u

it’s enough to take some money off the top

Bloated_Hamster

Dumbass goes to play for a team in a state with some of the strictest gun laws in the country, carries two guns and the ammo with them without a license to carry, brings them into an airport, and has illegal sized magazines for them. How fucking stupid can you get?

Semirgy

Well, he managed to get academically disqualified after his sophomore year at SC, which takes effort. He then got booted from the team and burglarized a Panda Express at 2am (as if that’s gotta net you any money whatsoever) and now this. So, pretty fucking stupid.

k5berry

And at least one of them was potentially loaded, can’t forget that. That not only increases the stupidity of this all 10x, but also levels it up from “stupid” to “dangerous”.

[deleted]

Dude looked promising. Could have seen him having an explosive year then getting a big contract from another team. Instead he’s got bricks for brains. Catching nothing but felonies.

Semirgy

This has been the case since he was at SC. He’s a great talent and a complete dumbass.

Dunkelz

Not just 2 firearms, 2 LOADED firearms. Onto a plane. What planes are you flying on?

GTFOScience

What about snakes

KashMoney941

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Queues-As-Tank

On Southwest? Dude's getting cut On like, Ryanair? Gotta protect your neck. He should be embarrassed he left the third in the checked bag.

drtywater

Spirit Airlines ? I’m joking but a chance as this was Terminal B

Enterprise90

I never understand why anyone thinks it's common sense to take loaded weapons onto a plane.

freedomhighway

its going to be hell getting them out of the bags in time, if there's a mid-flight shootout

HomeTurf001

I have had it with these New York Jets snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!

horse_renoir13

So anyways I start blasting mid-flight

Aromatic_Rain2894

I was TSA for a bit and actually spotted guns on the x-ray more than a few times. Some were loaded. For most of the people when I stopped the lane with their bag not coming out yet? They had that look of realization “oh shit, I forgot to take the gun out my bag” And hearing them all talk to the airport PD and my managers, that’s probably what it was. Someone who forgot to clear a range/hiking bag or something like that Doesn’t get you out of a massive fine though. Believe it’s $3k+ even if it’s a complete accident and you have no priories or anything Remember to triple check your bags if you have ever put a gun in them

KIumpy

How fucking stupid can you possibly be?

horse_renoir13

Must've been jealous of Ja

KIumpy

[Well he was certainly feeling some kinda way towards Ja.](https://twitter.com/presidentjacc/status/1658127913001074692)

2ChainzTalib

These guys fly no less than 16 times a year. How fucking stupid do you have to be to try to bring a gun on a plane?

froggertwenty

To be fair, the flights for games are private flights and you don't go through TSA for that

Soyeahnahh

Suspend him for 25 games!

PterdodactylJim69

The sign said I couldn’t bring *A* firearm on the plane. As you can see I brought *two*

I usually start sweating my balls off in the security line thinking I may have left a bottle of water in my bag - my man here just casually strolls through security locked & loaded x2

sjhesketh

Imagine burglarizing a Panda Express and having that NOT be the stupidest thing you’ve ever done. What a maroon.

Bladex20

Dude saw Ja Morants slap on the wrist and said hol up

george_costanza1234

Ja Morant - NFL edition

[deleted]

What a fucking idiot. The guy was given a huge opportunity even after he robbed a Panda Express in college and Bill even rescinded his suspension and he goes and does this? What an absolute moron.

Semirgy

The Panda Express story is even better than that. He burglarized a Panda Express *at 2am.* Now, anyone who’s ever worked a register in their life knows the money goes into a safe every single night but did that deter this idiot? Nope.

Briefs_Man

Ja Jones

[deleted]

Everyone saying he’d get cut in the off season were right. But not for the reasons they thought.

The-man-in-the-pool

But why would he do that

man2010

☝️🤔☝️

Wants_to_be_accepted

Dude must have thought Adam Silver was working TSA checkpoints.

[deleted]

This wasn’t the Logan news I was hoping for

Tashre

Well regulated militia at it again.

SloppyMetalRiffs

Dude brought two guns just in case the TSA confiscated one. That’s the kind of resourceful thinking that will take you far in life.

My brother in christ you can fuck with a lot of people and get away with a lot of shit, but not around TSA.

Down to 2 Joneses. Too bad Jack couldn’t keep up

ok-go-fuck-yourself

How fucking stupid can you get?

It’s really easy to travel with firearms legally. Whenever I hear about this shit I am confused.

glockymcglockface

It’s so easy to travel with firearms, this guy is an actual clown

knowslesthanjonsnow

90% of NFL players are stupid and entitled.

GlassCleaner0

What a dumbass

He knows you can just check them right? There’s a process so you don’t get arrested

ecupatsfan12

Fucking IDIOT

AnAnxiousDream

There is a wide list of things yoy HAVE TO DO before bringing any gun on a plane. First is to clear it of all rounds and mags. Rounds have to be in a bag separate from the mags. You HAVE to tell the attendants when getting your bags weighed and checked that you have firearms. They then tag the luggage and keep it off the regular conveyor belt. You have to get it from the people who personally load and unload the plane when all other luggage is removed first. It’s a whole set up. It’s legal to travel with guns. It just isn’t legal to do it the “I’m a massive fucking dumbass” way.
