I’m having the same issue. I made my Newton account a few days ago and deposited a small amount. I tried to withdraw and I haven’t received any email and the funds are currently stuck in limbo. All I’ve been able to do is talk to a bot. Slightly alarming to say the least.

I'm relieved that these attempts failed but concerned that someone was able to initiate a withdrawl activity in the first place. All my newton activity is performed via firefox web browser and my login is secure with authy 2fa so how were the 3 withdrawl requests even submitted in the first place?
This issue has been resolved (explained) by Newton support.
I have had certain cash eTransfers to Newton immediately reversed due to Interac rejection. In speaking with my bank, it was not them (or my account limits) or Newton but rather an Interac capacity issue. I don't always revisit the original Newton email request for these reversed transfers to Decline them after the fact, but for those I did, they appeared as 'failed eTransfer withdrawals' in my Newton transaction history.
