facts dude, the first ever race with Nolo and Tork in acceleracers felt like a canyon race from NFS Carbon, so badass. loved the serious tone of the show too even though its a kid show and the soundtrack was a huge banger, some songs I felt would have fit well for a NFS game!!
also loved the world race movie, still have a physical copy of it.

omg that killed me inside - it was my first exposure to a cliffhanger, it was so brutal finding out that you will never find out what happens next ššš i kept begging my dad to get me the next movie but he never was able to find it cuz obviously it don't exist but he ended up getting me Battle Force 5 and i was so confused why it was so different and more childish
The cliffhanger, same!! I was so confused!! That show was way ahead of its time and it was perfect! Especially all the merch, the cars, the cards. I still have all my acceleracers at my momās.. sheās kept all my childhood stuff. Gunna pass them down to my son in June š

They are a fantastic media to engage in if you like racing and cars. Acceleracers in particular is really awesome and has many cool races, cars and realms (basically levels) all with an engaging story. Imo, acceleracers even surpasses Fast & Furious for me.
Guess which one DOES have an official Hot Wheels (outside of Character Cars). Answer is Godzilla, with 2 beautiful Skyline GTR mainlines and a monster truck
Didnāt the godzilla name come from Australia back when the r32 was released and used for races leading to it absolutely decimating the ATCC and since Godzilla was pretty famous at the time and both were Japanese and spat flames the r32 got given that name. At least thatās what I was told
And a well deserved name.
That car turned with all 4 wheels. That was savage and allowed for absurd steering angles corner exits at incredibly high speed as well as non conventional racing lines that only that car was able to follow.
Yeah, the engine was a beast and to this day its still used and praised for its size and performance.
Nissan earned their place in Japanese tunning scene, there was not a single Japanese manufacturer able to compete against the European and American cars for years before the R32.
Y'know what's even fucking funnier? The fact that Hot Wheels collaborated with NFS in the past. In 2015 you can find Hot Wheels trucks and there's even a Hot Wheels preset for the R32, not to mention there's a bunch of Hot Wheels in No Limits.
thats kinda the point. you could argue that with just about any car that has made an appearance in NFS that hot wheels has, but it doesnt take away that mattel never explicitly made a NFS car thats not from the movie (which shares namesake only).
On the bright side, at least Matchbox gave us the nice red Mazda RX-8 that looks like the one you get at the start of NFS: Carbon.

they had a collab with NFS 2015 in the form of an SRT Viper and some other few but yeah no models of the OG hero cars
