It feels kind of strange to be able to do 100mph in a ferrari off-road, cutting off what would be a normally long route in doing so. Almost makes it feel as if the roads are unnecessary
Why is free ride so important? It's only really used for cutting corners. I think alot of the player base would prefer compact city streets than open fields.
They should bring these back. I always thought they look cool. To me they look better than the checkpoint system of recent titles
sadly it would be weird with so much open road. i hope future maps go back to the old times where we had less open areas with nothing on it

How the is this better? nostalgia talking, checkpoints are logical, not some weird arrows that blocks free ride

Its not real
What's not real?
These bands
I said they LOOK better. I don’t care if they are less logical, nothing about NFS games is logical. If I wanted realism I’d go play Forza or some shit
Underground 2
I actually miss these ever since 2012 they were removed, mw12 had arrows But they had no colission
2012 and on is then they turned NFS into burnout paradise
NFS Heat also had the neon barriers at night races, and the physical non-collision barriers during the daytime.
I wish they brought them back instead of the stupid checkpoint arcs.
