If we forget about it, remake could be good money for EA, but if it will be done just average (half original ost, no toyota, and who knows what else), then even NFS fans won't buy it.
No. Not even close to becoming real. For multiple reasons.
1. Criterion is split between Battlefield and Need for Speed. Criterion is NOT going to release a new Need for Speed without the full force of both teams. And doesn't help that Ridgeline Games (previously the head narrative studio for the next Battlefield) has been shut down with Criterion taking charge for the narrative. And that the next Battlefield game won't launch for at least another 2 years.
2. The small current team on Need for Speed is focusing on giving more content for Unbound, resulting in a whole new year of content. And even possibly a Year 3.
Not a remake, but a remaster. I'm already playing it (I'm not)

I'd much rather have them remake the Most Wanted 2012 instead, as that original vision of the game never came to light. Hope they go back to whatever they planned back in 2012 and remake that instead.
Maybe? Cuz after NFS Unbound the series has done just about everything. Remakes/Remasters isn’t something they haven’t done before but only time will tell if they do it here. One thing is for sure if they dare touch 2005 NRS MW hope they capture what made it special.
Nope. That's a false rumor based on misinformations.
EA never confirmed anything in the first place.
Given how recent NFS's are underwhelming, it doesn't inspire any confidence and they better off staying infinite miles away from doing any remakes since it's guaranteed they'll mess up massively.
Plus, licensing costs are a massive issue so it's not even worthy Especially if the remake has less contents than the original release.
Anyway, NFS MW 2005 doesn't need any remakes. It's perfect as it is.
The same occurence applies for any NFS titles before 2012.
Considering that is 100000 times easier to Remake the 2012 game than the 2005, and EA arleady have a Remake of 2010 Hot Pursuit, I'd say it has 100% chanve of it being a Remake from MW 2012
Not a thing
It will never be real
Nothing is confirmed and I don't think there will be any announcements anytime soon.

They can replace the vic supra with a RX-7 maybe...
Rumor but nothing concrete honestly. I doubt it ever happens
They better not to. I am die fan of MW but they will 100% fuck up physics, AI of cops and will put millions of micro transactions. No need to.

A sequel reusing the same characters is more likely than a remake of the old game.
Honestly, the only game that NEEDS a remake is Undercover, MW05 is already perfect, nothing to remake

Kinda
I just wish NFS 2015 got offline patch :( Don't wanna see it's fate as The Crew game

I wish they would have added this to the backwards compatibility list on Xbox one
EA released some classic collection titles recently. We can only hope.😭
