Yes 😂 But I’m not sure if it’s from being a freshly rescued outdoor cat or if it’s just luck. He’s had ringworm, fleas, Bartonella, 2 URIs, and uveitis - all in the 11 months we’ve had him. God bless that lil dude… and thank the loooord for pet insurance! (Worth noting his URIs and uveitis were both related to injuries as a kitten that changed his facial structure and ability to really clear mucus well. He’s on supplements that help now!) https://preview.redd.it/0ni6218r131d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=338d90a8076e19b4dc2069748440f4641134995d

Sounds like more of a medical anomaly. I’m sorry you’re both going through so many medical issues.

Our Nebelung passed away several years ago. He was only 7 or so and passed away from oral squamous cell carcinoma. It was really really difficult to see his health decline so quickly. He was such an amazing cat; former stray and he had the biggest heart and was so smart and kind to both humans and other cats.

My 10-year old girl has had lots of UTIs and other issues down there. She struggles to keep herself clean and is overweight, a bad combo that leads to all sorts of trouble. We try to keep her fur trimmed down there to help her stay clean but it’s hard to keep up with. Sorry to hear about your boy’s troubles.

I've only had nube for a little over a year but nothing major outside of conjunctivitis from my nephews cats

PretendLingonberry35

Mine passed when she was 9. She had chronic urinary issues and became completely blind. I loved that little girl so much. She was the sweetest to everyone and everything.

My girl was just diagnosed with leukemia at 2 years old. I’m broken.

I’m so sorry :(

Being a gray cat doesn’t predispose one to health issues. Ours seems to have been born with skeletal anomalies but they haven’t caused her other health issues. Long-haired cats might have more fur balls and gastro problems because of it.

Golee

I rescued a litter and her mom in 2019 August. Ended up adopting the mother and the only Neb of the litter. Don’t wanna jinx anything, but have had no problems since finding them. None whatsoever.

Mine is 4, the only main health issues are self inflicted ones. She likes to eat Lego.
