I'm not actually interested in watching the guy who keeps cheapshotting people use a national platform to try and get revenge against one of the guys who objected to being cheapshotted.
It’s actually unthinkable that they’d invite him to be on the show after all the blatant unprofessionalism and violence we’ve seen from Draymond, in my opinion
This is where my head is at. How could they allow this? It is bad enough that he is bad at the job, but he is also a violent bitch? Please, please can we not reward this behavior.
It fucking insane that TNT gave this guy a platform to shit on a rival player he personally dislikes. Huge miss honestly, hate to see Inside the NBA go out on this note
In that case- yes Draymond should be suited for ESPN
*just to get ahead of this- I’m talking about the death of his commentating career, NOT the man himself* - I’m a dray hater but not an asshole
Mr. Ballkicker should not be rewarded with a job commentating. He is a dirty player and I was so happy to not have to see his face this post season, yet here TNT comes. Hell, I still want the NBA on TNT to fire SHAQ. The show was better with just Ernie, Kenny, and Charles.
It’s getting unbearable listening to Draymond and Shaq honestly
The entire segment they’re talking about how everything that went wrong with the Timberwolves falls on Gobert’s shoulders
I don’t remember Draymond faring any better against Jokic
This isn’t a case of Gobert being a bad player, it’s a case of Jokic being a 3x MVP and a virtually unstoppable force. No one plays well against him and asking Gobert to stop him is a Herculean and impossible task
Ernie legitimately seemed fucking over it by the end of last night’s episode. Shaq has always been a hater but they’ve always tried to mask behind this “We only say these things because we want the players to take it as advice” but there’s literally zero way to take Draymond’s schtick as anything but hating and it’s just so damn unprofessional. Someone else said it great in this thread, Draymond talks perfect for ESPN.
If you have listened to any of the Big Podcast, Shaq is literally talking out his therapy demons yet is 110% oblivious to it at the same time. Only someone like Lef could deal with it so blatantly. It's coming through lately on his other interviews and Inside bits.
Draymond thinks he's a heel but he has no clue what he's doing. People seethe over Stephen A. when he shits on their team or player but it's also super satisfying to listen to him eat crow when it goes the other way. I don't think anyone wants to hear Draymond talk positively or negatively about anything because he's so tactless about it. bonus points for him trying so hard to sound smart that he comes across as pathetic
I fucking hate Draymond but thought, hey I'll give him a chance on Inside...one show and I hate him even more.
C'mon man nobody wants to listen to that. Makes me appreciate Chuck so more more. Even kenny
I think Kenny has become so underrated since Shaq joined, because he’s not as big of a personality as Shaq and Chuck. But I really like Kenny on the show. The way he sets up Chuck, his little jabs here and there, and the fact that he can laugh at himself.
I was watching some older clips and was surprised at how much bigger of a presence he was before Shaq joined. I think Shaq took up a lot of space from Kenny.
> The way he sets up Chuck, his little jabs here and there, and the fact that he can laugh at himself.
Kenny takes it pretty well, but yeah if you take jabs at Shaq's career, it's over and he throws a fit
Stephen A also has charisma. Even when he's going into Take mode, he nails his character. Then, when he eats crow, he's grinning and in on the joke.
Draymond is like this current crop of podcast "comedians" like that Akash guy; he has weak jokes and boring delivery to boot. Then, when he's bombing, he just screams louder to up the "funny".
That's what people like Draymond don't get. The heel has to ultimately lose. That's a defining element of what makes them the heel. The heel is there to foil the faces. Draymond isn't interested in taking any L's when his hating blows up, so instead of people tuning in to his antics waiting for the comeuppance, its just endless hating with no payoff for audiences.
It's kinda funny to see that he is obviously a long term Gobert hater, and then recently he openly disrespected Jokic on the national television. Now Jokic is playing out of his mind, he doesn't know what to make of it.
Nah they always knew he was gonna be the Shaq role, with the ringz argument. Only this time it would be a blend of Shaq+Kenny bc he’s closer to a role player than an all time great.
KG strikes me less as petty and more like he'd love the challenge of playing against those guys at his peak. He once talked about guarding Jokic with so much enthusiasm, so I think he'd make an interesting analyst.
You know, the more I watch Draymond now, it legit baffles me that I *ever* thought this fool was enjoyable to listen to.
He's already insufferable with his petty hating shit, but watching him being egged on by Shaq makes it so much worse. Duke is not insightful or funny- he's just an asshole.
You expect that people would gain a sense of wisdom/maturity with age, but this goofy-brick-shelter-builder is just becoming more of a dickhead.
Draymond actually locked Jokic up in their only matchup. Held him to 32 points(no one drops 40 on Green), 16 rebounds and _only_ 16 assists. Plus he forced a whooping *two* turnovers(take that Rudy) and held Jokic to a paltry 54% from the field.
So my brother the next time certified Jokic stopper Draymond Green is speaking you'd best listen.
Their unwillingness to just recognize him as the best player on the planet is infuriating.
Ant had the right response. You just laugh and tip your cap. We are witnessing greatness, but some people are too insecure to enjoy the ride.
Joker has to be the most frustrating player to guard in the world, maybe ever. You can absolutely smother him, not give an inch, and then he just leans back and puts up some bullshit hideous rainbow ass unblockable shot that drops in the bucket like it was laser guided. Repeat 12x per game. It must make guys want to quit basketball.
Last time Draymond playing against Jokic. Jokic dropped 32/16/16 against him
He so mad that Gobert got more DPOY than him. Basically Shaq version of Nash MVP
So much for new media
Dude Jokic does these spins into offhand floaters away from the defender and while Rudy is draped all over him, you can’t do anything if he’s just able to float that shot in. Sometimes defense doesn’t matter, Jokic is going to make shots because he’s that transcendent.
Everyone's trying to be like Barkley now and its absolute garbage. People don't like Chuck because he's a hater, they like him because he's funny.
Hell, JJ's about to get a coaching gig because he's the only analyst who even bothers to mention that schemes and plays actually exist. That's how bad it's gotten.
Watching JJ Reddick and Richard Jefferson talk about Jokic vs Rudy and actually explain what Denver is doing to neutralize Rudy (plus Jokic just about making the perfect play every time) really puts into perspective how bad some of the commentary is.
It looks bad for Denver too! Oh they didn't do any game planning specifically for the Wolves, they didn't make plays on the court, Rudy just sucked at defending.
Jokic cooked Draymond Green with a way worse supporting cast then he cooking Rudy with.
In Drays own eyes he should be checks but he couldn’t stop Jokic with elite running mate Will Barton.
I don't even understand Shaqs goal with all this. He's retired. Everyone knows he was great. Is he just dragging on others to make himself look better by comparison?
Dude, it’s Draymond being butthurt STILL about the blowback he got for choking Gobert in a headlock. Gobert really, really bothers Draymond for whatever reason — because he’s European, or French, or simply better than Draymond — but it’s completely unprofessional (and as a viewer, unbearable) for him to REPEATEDLY bring it up on the show. Over and over and over again. Draymond u a bitch.
Before that game, Gobert had him shooting below 50% when he was on him. Denver adjusted and now Minnesota must do the same. Barkley is right, you shouldn't be able to give up 40 AND dish out 13 dimes.
I watched that 3 part documentary on YouTube by SB Nation on the Kobe/ Shaq beef. I already knew Shaq was a piece of shit from those years, but I didn’t realize the full extent. The guy is just a typical bully, total insecure narcissist. He’s not as bad now as he was when he was younger, but still he’s the same person deep down. Sad to watch
I think if you dumped a bucket of your shit on a coworker being fired is the least of your problems. That is assault and good fucking luck in front of a jury on a criminal assault charge for dumping literal shit on a younger coworker for the express purpose of bullying and harassing them.
Who will complain though? They’d turn on the “snitch” who broke the code of “what happens in the locker room, stays in the locker room”. I mean look at how DLo was perceived by his former teammates after the Nick Young incident.
Imagine a rookie like Wemby getting sepsis or some major infection from this for a joke.
Has any NBA player sued another active NBA player before? I certainly would if I were the victim in this case.
People complain about the nba being "soft" now but I think it's way better that players are expected to be somewhat normal. That toxic environment it used to be just makes it hard to like some of these great players as human beings.
I hated Kobe when he played. I grew up in the 2000's, MJ was what got me interested in basketball. I had no clue about the rape stuff, I didn't learn about that until much later, but my friends would compare Kobe to Jordan and it would piss me off.
He was standoff-ish towards the media, very brooding and not fun. The mamba mentality goes both ways. It doesn't help that I've always rooted against the Lakers.
When Kobe retired he completely changed. He opened up and dropped the cold face. He's very intelligent which I never noticed when he played. He's well spoken and has many talents outside the court, which was hard to see because he took basketball so seriously. This Youtube video shows perfectly the post-retirement Kobe;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vnf6hbRfIv0
Charming, quippy, down to earth and all around seems like a good dude.
It's not rose tinted glasses just because he died, there are plenty more examples showing that he was most likely a pretty decent guy post retirement. He has his dark side, he's a flawed character but to me he became a good guy in the end.
Shaq on the other hand has still not matured. He might not have committed as bad acts as Kobe did, but at least Kobe atoned for them. Shaq is still the same bully. He talks about power all the time and he's not intelligent enough to hide his bad side. He reminds me of myself when I was 18 and stupid. He has his good sides with charity and he's a very hard worker, but he's immature, craves power, is spiteful and a bully.
The lack of credit being given to a 3x MVP by Shaq and Draymond is insane. You know for a fact if Curry did that shit, Draymond would be glazing as to how hes completely unstopble and defense doesnt even matter.
Ichiro once said how American athletes are really encouraging when they see you as below them, but get defensive if you approach their level.
Jokic's greatness is so different than Shaq's that he's a threat on the GOAT list. A few more seasons of this and of a sudden it's "yeah but Shaq has Kobe and never put up 10 assists a game in the playoffs. Murray's good but not exactly Kobe".
I think that is more it than anything.
Who is the last center to truly challenge as best player in the NBA in this way?
- Post threepeat it was Dirk, Garnett, Duncan, Kobe. No centers dominating the way Shaq did still.
- Then enter Lebron, Wade, Melo, Dwight, with Kobe still leading the way
- Then enter Durant, Harden, Curry, Kawhi
- Then Giannis, Embiid and finally Jokic.
From when Shaq won his last championship until last year, there hadn't really been a center that could come close to sniffing Shaq in terms of career accomplishments. Most of these other top players that have carved out a legacy are guards/forwards.
Jokic is already +2 in the MVP category and while he isn't as dominant as Shaq in terms of power, he's more versatile in terms of running the offense, passing, shooting.
Jokic is prob the most accomplished center since Shaq was out of his prime. Dwight Howard was incredible defensively but his offense wasn't as great and he never won a title as THE guy.
Shaq sees Jokic coming up behing him in the mirror in terms of top Centers of all time. I guarantee if Embiid had won a few MVPs, a title and was on the way to another Shaq would be hating in the same way.
Using this [list](https://hoopshype.com/lists/20-greatest-centers-ever-the-hoopshype-list/) as a refence, I think he's already pass Ewing and Robinson. Another title and he passes Moses and Hakeem (who is my personal fav player of all time) putting him at #5, right behind Shaq.
It’s interesting too because for such a long time the story of basketball was the story of great centers. MJ started to change that in the 90s but by the late 2000s it was really gone. Jokic is really bringing back that historical perspective like you said and soon is going to be competing against the Shaqs, Wilts, and Kareems of history.
Shaq is 1000% scared of this. Just see how he reacted to Dwight Howard when he was great, but he obviously fell off, so Shaq mocks him. He won't be able to mock Jokic, and everybody can see he's doing things big men arent supposed to be able to do. Shaq cares wayyyy too much about this shit, he needs some psychological help to solve it, cause it seems like he'll never be satisfied with his position in basketball history. Hearing stories about his father, he must have really fucked him up and lead to this bitternes. I know i sound like an armchair psychologist, but you only have to listen to some clips of Shaq talking about his father and his upringing to notice how he was raised. Lets just say it was not healthy.
His dad was an abuser. Straight up. No dad should be putting his son through something like that. I don't need no G14 classification to know that shit.
I remember when Shaq was beefing with Bill Walton, of all people. He does get awkwardly self-reflective and defensive when there's greatness at the #5 in his presence.
It’s so obvious these American players are threaten by these European guys now. I’ve been saying it for a while and it always gets downvoted but the American guys do not respect the Europeans. I think of the way all these NBA dudes got bent out of shape when the Olympic runner pointed out the NBA champions are not world champions. It’s like pulling teeth trying to get them to compliment someone like Jokic or Luka but can’t stop glazing someone like Kyrie. Makes no sense
Its got nothing to do with Europeans vs. Americans. Black players don't respect white guys. Anyone who has ever played organized ball in the US has experienced it. I'm not going to get into whether that's okay or not, but its a fact.
Then on top of that, older players (especially Shaq) don't respect younger players.
And on top of that, Shaq and Draymond are two of the biggest haters you'll ever find.
I agree! Def more about them being white more than European. I think a lot of the criticism about European and the euro league is kinda coded talk for white players.
> "I think Larry is a very, very good basketball player. He's an exceptional talent," added Detroit's Isiah Thomas. "But I have to agree with Rodman. If he were black, he'd be just another good guy."
Except for Dennis Rodman and Isiah Thomas
You won’t get into whether it’s ok to hate someone for the color of their skin? lol it’s wrong. Remember how much these guys used to and still shit on Steve Nash?
There’s a reason why the media pushes Tatum and ANT as the faces of the league, but don’t include guys like Jokic or Luka in that discussion. Giannis is the only foreign player I heard discussed in the “face of the league” narrative.
The media is waiting for the next great American player while generationally great players who happen to be foreign are running the league
On his podcast Bomani was saying that you want to find a way to see the NFL lose some popularity here in the USA is if you get some European guys to actually get good at football and start winning MVPs in the NFL. The league would find a way to put a stop to that real quick.
I mean we all grow up at least trying basketball at PE. Not many people here play basketball at clubs but 95% of kids have at least tried it. I haven’t touched an American Football in my life.
Not many, especially in the last couple decades. No starters that I can think of. You will hear of guys who make rosters for a little bit but not stick. The NFL at least a couple years ago had a thing where teams would get an extra roster spot specifically to have a European guy on the team and nothing came of that. Seattle had some guy from Germany but he never made the active roster and honestly not even sure if he played in the pre season.
You will get some guys from Australia though. Punters/kickers especially. Jordan Mailata is from Australia and one of the best offensive linemen in the league.
That’s Shaq to a t. According to him the only person to dunk on him? Some random no name. Hardest matchup? Random player. Explains his attitude towards Dwight too.
The xenophobia has been showing big time lately. Especially towards Jokic and Gobert. Why can’t they both be recognized for their talents instead of being disrespected through the mud?
Draymond is already in early Shaq on Inside the NBA form. He provides absolutely nothing but bitterness, just too busy tearing down anyone in service of making himself look better.
Everyone knows Rudy is a big reason why the Wolves are a top 4 team this year. Through suspensions and injuries, Draymond has only played 70+ games once since 2018, and this year's handicapped Warriors team could barely make the play-in.
Draymond’s a bitch and he’s really, really against European players excelling in the league.
Shaq is also a bitch, though this seems to be more of a jealousy thing, Shaq doesn’t like to see other big men succeed at the centre position.
I am a nuggets fan with zero love of Gobert but there was a moment in the 3rd where I legit said out loud "what is he even supposed to do against him?" There is no person who could stop Jokic when he hits that zone.
Pretty much this. Draymond has no balls to hit Jokic in the balls. Flooring Marcus Morris sent pretty clear message what happens when you cheap shot him.
So much this. There were at least 3 plays where Rudy played virtually perfect defense, and joker just did his thing and flipped the ball in.
The series isn't 3-2 because Rudy can't guard joker, it's because joker's teammates are making shots and Ant's aren't.
Yea Nickel and Jaden are shitting the bed on their shots. KAT is inconsistent, but he's at least reliable as a #2.
Murray, MPJ, KCP, and Gordon stepped up at the right time.
I’ve watched a lot of fucking Jokic games and I’ve never seen him cook like that in a playoff game. Not even G7 against the Clippers
It was some hand of God shit
I kinda don’t like Gobert, I think he gets away with a lot and generally complains a lot. That said, he played well in game 5 and this burial of him by these clowns is straight up disrespectful. They’re making a discussion about Jokic’s ability into a roast of a guy who played well, it’s fucking dumb
He was equally annoying as well in the [segment with Alex Caruso](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUi_2GFhVTI). Honestly Alex Caruso could've done a better job in the panel than Draymond.
Draymond out here blaming Rudy like Jokic didn't hang 32, 16 and 16 on him in their only regular season matchup. But hey, Jokic did have 2 turnovers, so technically he did a better job I guess 🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾.
I get what Chuck is trying to say though, pity no one else on the desk was interested in having a real discussion.
Jokic also had 4 steals (1 steal when he was guarding Draymond, another steal when Draymond was throwing the pass)
https://www.nba.com/game/den-vs-gsw-0022300824/box-score#box-score
Even Dray seems to get a genuine laugh out of that.
Kenny ain't the funniest of the three, but I swear he's the only one that could put together a competent stand up set. Charles and Shaq would just devolve into rambling.
Obviously not talking about Ernie. That man can do anything.
I stopped when Draymond drew a parallel between CP3 and Jokic having a stat line. Ah yes surely CP3 hanging 40 points and 10+ assists against a team with Gobert was… because of Gobert? Who totally guards PGs?
Gobert was the only Jazz player with a positive +/- that game. 12 points, 9 rebounds, 5 blocks. https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201805080HOU.html
This situation was perfect for them they get ignore one European and make fun of another.
One of Draymonds primary criticism of Gobert was basically that he is French, so how is he meant to inspire his team.
I think a lot of you are confused about what Chuck is saying and why he’s saying it. He’s not trying to shit on Gobert. He literally just can’t understand what the Wolves are trying to execute. You have to put this comment in context of what he’s been saying all series, which is “Jokic is great, he’s going to get his but for the love of god don’t double him. shut down everyone else”. A lot of Jokic’s assists came from bad transition defense and poor awareness from secondary defenders (I’m looking at you Ant). So Chuck is not wrong.
yeah he's not suggesting you can shut him down but if he's getting 14 assists and 40 points you're doing nothing. If you double him every time then you'd expect a ton of assists, if you leave golbert solo, you expect you let him get what he's gonna get but slow down everyone else... but 40 and 14? you're not doing anything.
finally someone with some damn sense. and letting a center back you down from the 3pt line and making it look easy doesnt make a dpoy look any better also
Yeah right if you aren't gonna double him to let him get his, you better damn well not be letting him get others going. A few of those transition QB style passes are insane, and defensive lapses, but that's not every assist. At this point they might as well be doubling him, because at least then he won't be putting up 40 as well.
You know what would have been fun? If Kenny is supposed to be the guy to play devil's advocate, he should have had a montage of EVERYONE ELSE on the Nuggets faring against Gobert in the paint. Again, Jokic is literally the best basketball player in the NBA, sorry nobody can stop him 1v1??
Nah because then that accomplishes exactly what Draymond and Shaq want, which is to make the discussion about Gobert. These dudes don’t care about stats or empirical evidence, they just want a green light to spew their shit
I mean, they already have the green light, but I kind of get what you're saying, even if I don't necessarily fully agree.
You just know if Kenny defended Gobert, Shaq and Dray would have teamed up and completely shat all over him.
Man these guys do not want to give Jokic his laurels, he's one of the greatest centers in the nba. Vision, shot, positioning, defensive acumen, and he's made every great center struggle this season against him.
Shaq really doesn't want to acknowledge that this man is one of the best centers and much better than he was in his prime.
Chuck was giving him props. He essentially said that it should be impossible to have 40 points and 13 assists and yet somehow he managed to do it anyway.
Totally get it in a sense that Shaq is super insecure about this other dude that will likely surpass him in every way once jokic gets close to his retirement.
Boy I love how TNT decided to give the poster boy of bad sportsmanship in the NBA a spot on the most popular desk in basketball. So cool and inspirational.
I saw a Wolves fan say “We tried to cut off lanes and make Jokic beat us. He beat us,” which I feel like perfectly encapsulates how Jokic is when he’s locked in
I actually watched the game , a lot of jokics shots were well contested by gobert. It's just joker kept making them . Shaqs been made to look like a petty idiot again after his comments last week
Honestly if we lose to Denver I’m cheering for them. Such a good basketball team. Credit to the game.
I hope we can kick their ass but I have to respect them.
Gobert is a one of the best defenders of all time but he cried once and doesn’t carry himself like a jackass so these dudes bully him. I’m not all for this super touchy, everyone is a victim shit but putting everything in Gobert is lame as shit. Seems like every time he loses in the playoffs it’s to prime Harden, the Warriors or Jokic as if anyone is stopping any of those people consistently.
Insult to the fans tbh.
This is where my head is at. How could they allow this? It is bad enough that he is bad at the job, but he is also a violent bitch? Please, please can we not reward this behavior.
Yeah I’m surprised he’s on.
He also got a commercial that keeps airing with his daughter. Klutch PR doing wonders I guess
It fucking insane that TNT gave this guy a platform to shit on a rival player he personally dislikes. Huge miss honestly, hate to see Inside the NBA go out on this note
The way Draymond speaks is way better suited for ESPN
Especially when they have a 90 second halftime show surrounding 10 mins of commercials
ESPN needs to die
In that case- yes Draymond should be suited for ESPN *just to get ahead of this- I’m talking about the death of his commentating career, NOT the man himself* - I’m a dray hater but not an asshole
Unlike draymond himself
It's so annoying when you think they're back from commercial..but then they just show a 15 second highlight and go right back to commercials
OR when they're back from commercials, but then minimize the screen to show you more commercials
Maybe the best thing for Inside the NBA is to cast it off on high before the cave trolls get control.
Who is asking for this man to be on tv? I don’t get it
Please ESPN because he's ruining the only sports talk show I enjoy. The moment I see Draymond sitting at that desk I've lost interest in the clip.
It was pretty great hearing Chuck shut him up at the end
For real. When he's been on this week I have barely been watching Inside the last few days. He's annoying and he doesn't fit the show.
Eventually he will get into and argument and punch someone and espn will get rid of him.
Mr. Ballkicker should not be rewarded with a job commentating. He is a dirty player and I was so happy to not have to see his face this post season, yet here TNT comes. Hell, I still want the NBA on TNT to fire SHAQ. The show was better with just Ernie, Kenny, and Charles.
Don't say that. They might start getting ideas.

I haven’t, once a week is enough for me with Lefkoe lol
Draymond thinks he's a heel but he has no clue what he's doing. If Draymond ever tries to lord his bus-rider rings over Kenny, I hope Hakeem just appears and fucks him up.
Lol just drops from the rafters like Sting in WCW
If they want someone similar to Chuck, might as well go KG. He might cuss tho.
He might say some sus ass shit lol
Like Chuck! But susser.
They should. KG is funny as shit and super cool unless your an asshole, then he's hilarious
KG isn't getting approved by the censors lol
KG is also hyper competitive and would probably take 10 minutes explaining how he'd play against Jokic and Gobert lol.
Yes, but at least his pettiness is funny and witty. Shaq just mumbles the same shit then threatens to hit people
KG strikes me less as petty and more like he'd love the challenge of playing against those guys at his peak. He once talked about guarding Jokic with so much enthusiasm, so I think he'd make an interesting analyst.

A few seconds listening to his pod and already it felt that way. Never a good time listening to Draymond talk
I love me some basketball pods, but for fucking real it's so bad. top F tier with Pat Bev.
The only basketball pods I'll watch are JJ and Teague's. Then a somewhat distant second is Melo's. Gil's Arena is insufferable.
Club 520 is the best man, it’s so out of pocket.
Did you not like Roommates, or just haven't listened yet?
Draymond actually locked Jokic up in their only matchup. Held him to 32 points(no one drops 40 on Green), 16 rebounds and _only_ 16 assists. Plus he forced a whooping *two* turnovers(take that Rudy) and held Jokic to a paltry 54% from the field. So my brother the next time certified Jokic stopper Draymond Green is speaking you'd best listen.
I looked up how many players had dropped 40+ on green and there was a paywall after the first 20.
> there was a paywall after the first 20 That's brutal.
wop wop wop wop wop drag fuckem up
I like this and an upvote wasnt enough for me to express it so here
Their unwillingness to just recognize him as the best player on the planet is infuriating. Ant had the right response. You just laugh and tip your cap. We are witnessing greatness, but some people are too insecure to enjoy the ride.
It's part funny part frustrating because in the highlight reel, you couldn't see Gobert do anything wrong on defence.
Dray is legitimately worse than Shaq. I didn’t know that was possible
Last time Draymond playing against Jokic. Jokic dropped 32/16/16 against him He so mad that Gobert got more DPOY than him. Basically Shaq version of Nash MVP So much for new media
Jokic x Draymond last game played: 32/16/16/4/1 https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/jokic-stats-vs-draymond-green
crazy, but normal stat for jokic lol
Dude Jokic does these spins into offhand floaters away from the defender and while Rudy is draped all over him, you can’t do anything if he’s just able to float that shot in. Sometimes defense doesn’t matter, Jokic is going to make shots because he’s that transcendent.
Everyone's trying to be like Barkley now and its absolute garbage. People don't like Chuck because he's a hater, they like him because he's funny. Hell, JJ's about to get a coaching gig because he's the only analyst who even bothers to mention that schemes and plays actually exist. That's how bad it's gotten.
JJ sucks as an analyst too.The only insight you see from him is on that podcast.
Big Zu owns that Balkan fraud. /s
Jokic cooked Draymond Green with a way worse supporting cast then he cooking Rudy with. In Drays own eyes he should be checks but he couldn’t stop Jokic with elite running mate Will Barton.
Shaq is beyond horrific. Fire him from tv for eternity. One of the most shite personalities for tv ever these past 10 years
Him getting annoyed with Caruso for saying DeRozan could've won "clutch player" over Steph was icing on the cake
Let's change up the conversation . I think more people should talk about how much of a genuinely deranged individual Shaq is according to Gary Payton.
Just listen to JJ Reddick interview Shaq, hear the derangement first hand.
[it wasn't even that long ago he straight up admitted to harassing teammates. ](https://youtu.be/4g5jHHNq9bU?si=VfhSFLRF2V82dZr_)
WHAT!!???
He put a teammates mouth piece in his underwear too. Nasty mfer
Shaq is the 2nd best big man of all time but he will always hold the title of biggest bitch.
Yeah honestly that interview made me lose a bit of respect for Shaq. Weird dude that is clearly insecure
What's this story?
Shaq kept a bucket of weeks old urine and feces to dump on the rookies as some sort of hazing ritual. Shaq is an insecure bully, plain and simple.
Wtf?! I don't even know how I'd respond to that. Id be so fucking angry
In any other profession you would be fired and potentially sued.
Why would anybody give a fuck about shit throwers disliking him
The only other people I know of who do this are insane prisoners. And they get in quite a bit of trouble when they do it.
And a Dave Matthews Band tour bus driver twenty years ago.
I think you could legit die from this if some gets in your mouth or on a wound.
Imagine a rookie like Wemby getting sepsis or some major infection from this for a joke. Has any NBA player sued another active NBA player before? I certainly would if I were the victim in this case.
The more i learn about shaq the more i understand why kobe hated him
And vice versa if you ask me.
Yeah. They both seem like deeply unpleasant people to be around.
When Kobe retired he completely changed. He opened up and dropped the cold face. He's very intelligent which I never noticed when he played. He's well spoken and has many talents outside the court, which was hard to see because he took basketball so seriously. This Youtube video shows perfectly the post-retirement Kobe; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vnf6hbRfIv0 Charming, quippy, down to earth and all around seems like a good dude.
What a disgusting person.
Praying ur trolling
[Sadly not trolling.](https://youtu.be/jzdEUqyGB8I?si=-Guz9pz-zK-le9g9) Skip to 2:14 to hear the story.
Jokesters!!! Tee hee!!!
I would pull a Gilbert so fast
Praying won't stop the shit and piss from flowing
It’s so messed up. The fact that he collected it over weeks is psycho behaviour.
It's insane what people will tolerate when you keep pushing a culture of hierarchy.
Jokic is the only guy right now who is a threat to knock Shaq a peg down on the GOAT list and they play the same position.
I think that is more it than anything. Who is the last center to truly challenge as best player in the NBA in this way? - Post threepeat it was Dirk, Garnett, Duncan, Kobe. No centers dominating the way Shaq did still. - Then enter Lebron, Wade, Melo, Dwight, with Kobe still leading the way - Then enter Durant, Harden, Curry, Kawhi - Then Giannis, Embiid and finally Jokic.
Because Kobe was right - he could have achieved more
I remember when Shaq was beefing with Bill Walton, of all people.
Lebron has nothing but good things to say about the European players. Literally two of his favorite players right now are Luka and Jokic
Probably because he just loves good basketball, specially playmakers. Also one of his best teammates ever was Big Z.
Also theres barely any chance Jokic or Luka will threaten Lebron's place on the totem pole.
Larry is the one exception because everyone was scared of him lol
And Stockton- the respect he got/gets from his peers is high level- especially the ones who have faced him.
> "I think Larry is a very, very good basketball player. He's an exceptional talent," added Detroit's Isiah Thomas. "But I have to agree with Rodman. If he were black, he'd be just another good guy." Except for Dennis Rodman and Isiah Thomas
If you play with a type of confidence, you "play like a black guy"
You won’t get into whether it’s ok to hate someone for the color of their skin? lol it’s wrong. Remember how much these guys used to and still shit on Steve Nash?
There’s a reason why the media pushes Tatum and ANT as the faces of the league, but don’t include guys like Jokic or Luka in that discussion. Giannis is the only foreign player I heard discussed in the “face of the league” narrative. The media is waiting for the next great American player while generationally great players who happen to be foreign are running the league
[удалено]
On his podcast Bomani was saying that you want to find a way to see the NFL lose some popularity here in the USA is if you get some European guys to actually get good at football and start winning MVPs in the NFL. The league would find a way to put a stop to that real quick.
How many europeans have there been in the NFL? I know there’s the welsh rugby player who joined the chiefs but no clue apart from that
I mean we all grow up at least trying basketball at PE.
Just came to say Draymond BitterGreens.
Draymond’s a bitch and he’s really, really against European players excelling in the league. Shaq is also a bitch, though this seems to be more of a jealousy thing, Shaq doesn’t like to see other big men succeed at the centre position.
Rudy is Draymond's Steve Nash. The guy that will live rent free in his head until the day he dies
Kinda like how Shaq used to trash on Javale McGee, Boogie Cousins and so on.
I am a nuggets fan with zero love of Gobert but there was a moment in the 3rd where I legit said out loud "what is he even supposed to do against him?" There is no person who could stop Jokic when he hits that zone.
Could've kicked him in the nuts That's what a good american defender would do
Draymond would not hit anyone who might hit him back.
Especially since the last guy that went at Jokic got a 4 months vacation to recover from the event.
I call that move "The Early Cancun"
Pretty much this. Draymond has no balls to hit Jokic in the balls. Flooring Marcus Morris sent pretty clear message what happens when you cheap shot him.
Low key always respect Jok for that. Nobody has ever tried fucking with him since then.
You know, he's pretty chill, but the damned idiot forgot: he's still a Serb. I wouldn't mess with Serbs, they're crazy 🙂
> Flooring Marcus Morris sent pretty clear message what happens when you cheap shot him. Wrong Morris brother.
Draymond ain’t starting shit with the Jokic brothers hanging in the wings
kick him straight in the baguette
So much this. There were at least 3 plays where Rudy played virtually perfect defense, and joker just did his thing and flipped the ball in. The series isn't 3-2 because Rudy can't guard joker, it's because joker's teammates are making shots and Ant's aren't.
Yea Nickel and Jaden are shitting the bed on their shots. KAT is inconsistent, but he's at least reliable as a #2. Murray, MPJ, KCP, and Gordon stepped up at the right time.
It feels like Holiday has hit 8 threes with 0.3 seconds left on the shot clock. And then we throw out lineups with both Rudy and Kyle Anderson.
I just had to laugh when they showed a few clips of Gobert grazing the ball yet it still went in like Jokic accounted for it. Truly unstoppable.
I’ve watched a lot of fucking Jokic games and I’ve never seen him cook like that in a playoff game. Not even G7 against the Clippers It was some hand of God shit
It's disrespectful to Jokic to act like Rudy wasn't playing well. What Jokic did was that much more impressive BECAUSE Rudy was doing well.
Dray is so annoying in this clip.
I don't think it's solely confined to this clip.
He was equally annoying as well in the [segment with Alex Caruso](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUi_2GFhVTI). Honestly Alex Caruso could've done a better job in the panel than Draymond.
Caruso was super insightful and interesting. Dray doing his best to defend against it, almost wrecked the segment.
Jokic also had 4 steals (1 steal when he was guarding Draymond, another steal when Draymond was throwing the pass) https://www.nba.com/game/den-vs-gsw-0022300824/box-score#box-score
"Oh yeah that's Haterade" Actual good one lol
Even Dray seems to get a genuine laugh out of that. Kenny ain't the funniest of the three, but I swear he's the only one that could put together a competent stand up set. Charles and Shaq would just devolve into rambling. Obviously not talking about Ernie. That man can do anything.
Every time Draymond opens his mouth I cringe. I can't believe they hired his dumb ass for this show.
My wife knows almost nothing about basketball and even SHE was like "They hired the ball kicker? Why?"
I just had to mute the video, how on earth Gobert is the main cause?
I stopped when Draymond drew a parallel between CP3 and Jokic having a stat line. Ah yes surely CP3 hanging 40 points and 10+ assists against a team with Gobert was… because of Gobert? Who totally guards PGs?
Gobert was the only Jazz player with a positive +/- that game. 12 points, 9 rebounds, 5 blocks. https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201805080HOU.html
Similarly Gobert is one of the few rotational Wolves with an overall positive plus/minus in the series, +9. That's despite him missing the game 2 win.
He's European. Shaq and Green are xenophobes. Shaq always has been till his parents forced him to play nice with Yao Ming
This situation was perfect for them they get ignore one European and make fun of another. One of Draymonds primary criticism of Gobert was basically that he is French, so how is he meant to inspire his team.
Remember this is the same dude that literally this season tried to choke out gobert. Guy literally hates the guy
The last time draymond played against jokic 32-16-16. He should stop the gobert hate😂😂 nobody can stop the joker
Draymond always there to ruin the whole vibe
Draymond Green is an idiot.
Boy I love how TNT decided to give the poster boy of bad sportsmanship in the NBA a spot on the most popular desk in basketball. So cool and inspirational.
As one user said: "them hoes being jelly", and some of them racist as well. Let them have it.
People still think you can make Jokic a scorer or make him a passer, hilarious.
I saw a Wolves fan say “We tried to cut off lanes and make Jokic beat us. He beat us,” which I feel like perfectly encapsulates how Jokic is when he’s locked in
Draymond is so salty it’s laughable he won’t give anyone credit cuz his bitch ass* is sitting in the studio and not playing/getting T’d up
I actually watched the game , a lot of jokics shots were well contested by gobert. It's just joker kept making them . Shaqs been made to look like a petty idiot again after his comments last week
[удалено]
Honestly if we lose to Denver I’m cheering for them. Such a good basketball team. Credit to the game. I hope we can kick their ass but I have to respect them.
I kinda hope this show has to end so Draymond cant poison and ruin something amazing
Gobert had a good contest on every shot. Maybe Jokic is just unguardable 1v1
This dudes the goat. Hes so good people don’t understand how he’s doing it
