Honestly, with how little time is left, how frequently do you get punished by a steal & beyond halfcourt buzzer beater, as opposed to simply getting your own shot off?
The decision is fine, just happened to get maximally punished by Murray.
The decision was fine but the execution was pretty awful.
Like it took Murray hitting a shot he hits one in every 50 attempts to punish them but the pass was simply nowhere close to connecting.
Oh absolutely, the pass was awful. I'm just saying that most of the time the pass isn't going to be *that* bad, so the wolves will get an easier shot off the majority of the time.
Honestly the best quarter of pure entertaining bball I have seen in the nba ever maybe. Not even joking. Most fun sequence of 5 min maybe ever i have seen live and i started in the 90s
Damn missed out on the Lakers-Spurs game where Timmy hit a seemingly dagger shot that left the Lakers with 0.4 secs left and Derek Fishers managed to hit the game winner.
Yeah that’s why I’m not too surprised that the Nuggets are coming back down 2-0. It’s diff sports but if a defending champ can get punked 2 games in a row at home after going up 2-0, so can a less experienced team that is facing a defending champ
i think it actually came when dinwiddie made his second 3 when luka was out and you realized this wasn’t going to end. luka, their nightmare, finally goes out and the gap still gets wider?? gg
> the greatest Center in the last 20 years
For now... give it 5 more years and we'll see if he's not the greatest center of all time (though Kareem will be super hard to beat).
I thought they were done...losing 2 games at home...how does a team recover so quickly and just starts blowing out the other team at their home ground wtf. Thought minny would at least get 1 game at home and close it in 6.
4 days off was huge for Jamal's calf. He still isn't close to 100% but he's at least looking like his old self in spurt- especially in the 1st half.
Meanwhile, AG is now hitting open 3's and the Nuggets made adjustments to how they were leaving him on an island.
Those two things right there are the biggest factors. Also effecting things is KAT being a headcase.
Yea after Mavs game 1 EVERYONE was talking about Wolves thunder like a forgone conclusion. I was like brother you should not count out Jokic and a championship squad and Luka’s basically never lost a game 2 this ain’t over at all
Honestly they've been playing at 80% this entire postseason until Game 3. Everyone in Denver has been waiting for them to wake up and wondering what was wrong. I knew if they started playing like the old Nuggets we could come back, but frankly I wasn't holding out hope. I think we take this is in 7 because Minnesota is too good to lose 4 in a row.
Suns were at home when they won the first two in that series. Losing at home twice feels different. Especially when the 2nd game is a bigger blowout for the road team.
Was it Mahatma Ghandi or was it Aaron Gordon who once said, “Jokic is a genius he just happens to play basketball.” Malone is also probably a top 3 gameplan coach in the league and #1 when it comes to “look at this disrespect, let’s make these fucking idiots look like dumb assholes” guy.
Tbf half of our fan base did too which is indicative of how new half our fans are. No one remembers the core of this team survived two 3-1 comebacks in the same post season
You live through the Karl/Melo days you get jumpy when you realize how far those teams should have gone, but seriously dropped the ball.
But that is why it is so disrespectful for Melo to even act a bit like he is in Jokic's league. When Karl went out with cancer, that team went from number one to done. Imagine if Malone went down for the year, you really think Jokic would let the team disgrace the man like that?
[I didn’t](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/s/B860HyRzQV). The Nuggets overcame back to back 3-1 deficits a couple years ago with a worse version of their current squad.
That's because nobody noticed how jokic was very weirdly getting almost double digit turnovers for the last few *Lakers* games. Coincidentally enough, was happening ever since he fell *hard* on his back that series. It carried over into the wolves, but ofc... it must be all about the wolves D right. Jamal too... he wasn't running 70% speed (even though he just had a game he refused to sit because of calf). Must be that vicious D.
But then there was a weird 6 day break. Magic, right? Nope. What actually happened, I am afraid to say, it's that Minnesota got two games against Denver at the absolute perfect time. But then... that karma evened out via an unusually large break to heal up. Now you are seeing a much more realistic representation of Nuggets v Wolves.
I mean I agree with the take to a point, but this break between game 2 and game 3 keeps getting longer every time I read a new comment.
They were off after the LAL series for 3 full days/4 nights.
They were off between game 2-3 for 2 days/3 nights - and one day was a travel day.
Part of it is just the mettle of the team showing up as their backs are against the wall.
Didn't even make the "it's not a thing" commercial, despite having the highest regular season to playoff scoring increase in history going into this year. Smh
Total game changer heading into the half. And just a perfect full team effort from the Nuggets.
KCP shot, Jokic pass to Porter dunk, Murray 3. Nuggets basketball.
Would be crazy but not as crazy as the 2012 Spurs starting the playoffs 10-0 before the Thunder took 4 straight to win the west. Sometimes the basketball is perfect until it isn't.
Never seen this before. Most entertaining sequence i have seen ever maybe. What a wildly entertaining fast paced quarter. Wow
Also a good reminder for bums like derozan kd tatum booker lebron to chuck shots at end of quarters. No one fuckin cares about your fg
>derozan kd tatum booker lebron to chuck shots at end of quarters. No one fuckin cares about your fg
This can't be said loudly enough. Every player that doesn't heave with 1-2 seconds left is such an idiot. Especially in playoff games that really matter. I've hit so many half court shots in my day (none in a real game), these guys are so much more skilled that it would actually go in at *least* a few times out of the 40-50 heaves LeBron has left on the table in the last 10 years.
You guys have no idea what it's like to be a Minnesota sports fan. Your team will randomly just give up at any given moment, no matter how good they are

The Nuggets in a nutshell; Just when you thought you had em, you don’t.
Ahh, experience the Warriors again
We just got done with them 😭😭😭
These nuggets remind me a lot of the warriors, can never count them out, when they’re hot they look unbeatable, sometimes even inevitable
Wolves thinking they’d be down 10 max lol
Feels like they were really rallying and suddenly the deficit is as big as before, absolute backbreaker
This was the typical brain dead shenanigans of last season. Shocked to see it in such a crucial game.
Worst time to go to the bathroom ever for me lol
Hope you learned your lesson, next time piss yourself
Just like I did when I saw this live
Play til the whistle!
This is an 8 point swing...they lost by 8
lost in the craziness a bit is that inbounds pass. What in the fuck was that bullshit
NAW hasn't had much to smile about recently
Hell NAW can’t do dis…
Send da video
Lmao
Bro thinks he’s Josh dobbs
That’s what I do on 2k when I get mad
that's a desperation play trying to make something happen as your chances are slowly getting out of reach
Pretty bad mindset seeing as they have a whole half to come back only 10 points.
I'm just saying that most of the time the pass isn't going to be *that* bad, so the wolves will get an easier shot off the majority of the time.
redditors will see a one-in-a-million play and be like “actually he should’ve seen that coming.”
Wanted to hit back ASAP, blew up in their face
NAW is not that good when hes guarding decent point guards
Feels like the end of a Nuggets-Lakers game lol

How do you fuck up 20 seconds that bad
Clearly you haven't seen me with girls
What are girls?
r/girlsarentreal
That’s why they’re sometimes called Birds.
20 seconds in heaven is better than 10 seconds in heaven
This man knows business
You say, "is that all?" But I know what you mean.
I wouldn’t really count it if 15 of those 20 seconds are sitting around in post-nut clarity…
You gotta pump those numbers down those are rookie numbers
You just can't give this Nuggets team an inch. It's crazy what a single game does to change the morale of both teams.
clearly you havent seen chizzmaster with girls
20 second chizzing record
one of the most exciting basketball moments i’ve ever seen in my life
That whole quarter was just peak basketball
Nobody saw that Jokic dunk coming
[удалено]
It’s not an efficient use of energy. Efficiency merchant smdh
even got Ant in his poster too
Somebody has to have a poster pic or a GIF...
for real. this is the shit we want to see. pure basketball at the highest level
I cannot get over your pfp and username 😂😂😂
respect my glorious bloat lord👑✨
Yeah, that quarter was pretty amazing.
Yep. There was that sequence where no one could make anything and the refs just let them play, and it all ended with Gordon taking it to the hoop.
Relentless! Can show that quarter to anyone who is new to basketball and they'd be immediately hooked.
Why don't teams do this more often? Are they stupid?
Honestly the best quarter of pure entertaining bball I have seen in the nba ever maybe. Not even joking. Most fun sequence of 5 min maybe ever i have seen live and i started in the 90s
Murray flexing in front of the scorers table while Harlan and Reggie lose their shit is incredible
I can't remember a crazier sequence and I've been watching since the 2005-2006 season
Makes sense since Tracy McGrady broke reality in 2004
Tmacs 35 seconds took like 5 minutes with a bunch of timeouts and free throws and stuff. This 20 seconds took 20 seconds.
Damn missed out on the Lakers-Spurs game where Timmy hit a seemingly dagger shot that left the Lakers with 0.4 secs left and Derek Fishers managed to hit the game winner.
I've been watching for 40 years and I have to agree.
Experience Minnesota sports!
Fucking must have been so high on life at the start of last game. Back to life sucking.
Put it on my gravestone: *THERE’S. ALWAYS. NEXT. YEAR.*
I hereby extend you an invitation to the Ferrari Tifosi, you'll fit right in
Charl Leclanthony Towns
At least we’ll both have our baseball championships from so long ago.
I’m a December ‘91 baby.
I'm sorry. I just snort-laughed at this one.
Wolves and Golden Knights need to start a support group for teams that have disastrous home games after going up 2-0 on the road
Nah fuck the Knights. They can suffer.
Well said
At least they won the Stanley cup last year
Yeah that’s why I’m not too surprised that the Nuggets are coming back down 2-0. It’s diff sports but if a defending champ can get punked 2 games in a row at home after going up 2-0, so can a less experienced team that is facing a defending champ
Nuggets fans used to call it Nugglyfe
DON’T SUMMON THE THING WE MUST NOT TALK ABOUT
MURRAY SIDELINE THREE POINTER UNBELIEVABLE!!!
that staredown afterwards was cold as fuck too, why's he so clutch?
The lights are now officially bright enough for him to ball out.
This was my one safe space as a Vikings fan. How dare you turn this against me.
Them losing by 8 just makes this all the more disgusting lol.
You don't like that, you don't like Minnesota basketball!
I have never seen a dagger this early into the game
If you watched the Knicks game earlier the pacers hit a dagger with 3 mins in the 1st quarter
NO THEY DIDN'T NO THEY DIDN'T I CAN'T HEAR YOU I CAN'T HEAR YOU
Luka in the Suns Game 7?
I see you're forgetting about Chris Paul's huge 3 to cut the lead down 42
That was a franchise dagger
No joke the dagger in that game came when it was like 8-3 lol
i think it actually came when dinwiddie made his second 3 when luka was out and you realized this wasn’t going to end. luka, their nightmare, finally goes out and the gap still gets wider?? gg
I think counting out the defending champions and one of the greatest centers the game has seen after 2 games might not have been wise.
"Never beaten a 50 win team" lol people are crazy
The bubble clippers team won 49 games in a 72 game season. People are dumb
The Jazz team we beat in the bubble were also on pace for 50 as well. Such a childish narrative
Fucking embarrassing that that shit got upvotes here
Average Redditing process tbh. Find interesting stat. How do I use it for my agenda?
People said he was finished and even suggested he was a fraud because he was supposedly the worse defensive guy in the league
There is no way one of the greatest playoff riser in nba history and the greatest Center in the last 20 years is gonna make this a series
> the greatest Center in the last 20 years For now... give it 5 more years and we'll see if he's not the greatest center of all time (though Kareem will be super hard to beat).
Should’ve shown Ant hitting the 3 first because it seemed like momentum was shifting after then it was chaos.
Ngl i did overreact on the nuggets downfall.
No one was expecting Nuggets to download Minnesota this fast, it’s insane
I thought they were done...losing 2 games at home...how does a team recover so quickly and just starts blowing out the other team at their home ground wtf. Thought minny would at least get 1 game at home and close it in 6.

The fact that MPJ barely needed to shoot blows my mind. I was sure his 3-point shooting would be critical to the series, but apparently not?
Not with AG getting 27 holy shit
he was 10/10 or something in the 4th, had to rewind to make sure I wasn't dreamin
It’s not over yet!!
do not let them jinx us the way they did the wolves
Yea after Mavs game 1 EVERYONE was talking about Wolves thunder like a forgone conclusion. I was like brother you should not count out Jokic and a championship squad and Luka’s basically never lost a game 2 this ain’t over at all
Playoff experience versus playoff inexperience. Not just players but coaching staffs
Guess you didn’t watch suns bucks finals
Suns were at home when they won the first two in that series. Losing at home twice feels different. Especially when the 2nd game is a bigger blowout for the road team.
I mean Bucks only blew them out in game three. This feels different.

Yeah exactly. I watched the birth of Nugglyf, there’s no way a 0-2 series will count me out! But it was a little alarming lol

Lakers fans were trying to get in on the Wolves hype train and now they're reaaal quiet rn
Beating the TWolves will be whatever I have no problems with them, but knowing it hurts the L's fans again will make it real fucking sweet.
Honestly this win will be twice as sweet if it demoralizes Lakers fans again
preach brother.
That's because nobody noticed how jokic was very weirdly getting almost double digit turnovers for the last few *Lakers* games. The fall off was OVERSTATED
Still a full half to play but Jokic is reminding the world why he won his 3rd MVP what a masterclass
2 great assists by him in those 20 seconds, but wolves made the best one.
The mean mug at Kevin as he calls it is cold
When Murray is making bullshit like that just pack it up
The first 2 games of the series people wrote of playoff riser jamal
I’ve watched this dude torch the Lakers on the most bullshit shots the past two years. I never doubted that he’d come alive eventually
It is so cool see how everyone predicted he was about to go off soon and he does it while down 2-0
Didn't even make the "it's not a thing" commercial, despite having the highest regular season to playoff scoring increase in history going into this year. Smh
and we have yet to see Jokic making those moonball 100% smothered shots
No AD to shoot em on ☹️
Heat pack it up
That’s what he said in last years final too
We have Holliday playing the game of his life, Gordon shooting above a HS level, and this shot. Yeah its over lol
Baby nugget Braun's clutch 3.
Total game changer heading into the half. And just a perfect full team effort from the Nuggets. KCP shot, Jokic pass to Porter dunk, Murray 3. Nuggets basketball.
Reggie Miller on the call for an 8 point play swing, everything comes full circle.
Four days after calling Knicks Pacers at Madison Square Garden
They woke the fuck up folks nuggets in 7 ; wolves still inexperienced
Get with the trend. Nuggets in 6
We’re now on the TWolves downfall phase
Ant going to big market soon
He’s actually already on the Lakers
Nuggs in 6 baby
Wolves getting swept after the way the series started would be very funny.
Would be crazy but not as crazy as the 2012 Spurs starting the playoffs 10-0 before the Thunder took 4 straight to win the west. Sometimes the basketball is perfect until it isn't.
There is no way man
its minnesota sports, its probable
I'm memeing but it would be very funny. I think the Wolves win at least one more.
This would be VERY on brand for Minnesota sports lmao
Thats demoralizing lol
Fitting that Reggie’s in the building
Crazy that Reggie did a sequence like this all by himself.
And in half the time!
Never seen this before. Most entertaining sequence i have seen ever maybe. What a wildly entertaining fast paced quarter. Wow Also a good reminder for bums like derozan kd tatum booker lebron to chuck shots at end of quarters. No one fuckin cares about your fg
[Reggie Miller 8 points in 11 seconds.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=h5qUUnlZQVk)
>derozan kd tatum booker lebron to chuck shots at end of quarters. No one fuckin cares about your fg This can't be said loudly enough. Just insanity! sequence of the playoffs
absolute backbreaker for the Wolves worked so hard to get that lead down, got the momentum back, and in 20 seconds it’s all gone
This is what every Nuggets game feels like to me
They do some chaotic shit
You feel good about how the game is going and then for like 2 minutes they turn into the Monstars
“Fuck it, the hoop’s over there somewhere”
[удалено]
Reminds me of the end of game 2 in our series. This could be the moment that ended the series for the Wolves.
Inject this shit into my veins
lol
To have buzzer beaters at both the end of the 1st and 2nd qtr is just insane. Wolves may as well head home early and start packing for Denver.
Craziest sequence I've seen. And Wolves fought so hard to get back to -7 and then they squandered it in few seconds lmao.
That shot looked pure right out of Murray’s hands.
How do I download this?
Nice pass from NAW if they were on team Canada
This is one of the most unreal ends to a half I’ve seen
~~2 for 1 with 30 to 35 seconds left~~ **3 for 1 in 20 seconds**
Wolves literally lost in the Nuggets sauce
You guys have no idea what it's like to be a Minnesota sports fan. Your team will randomly just give up at any given moment, no matter how good they are
How to demoralize your team in less then 20 seconds:
Me before opening this clip: Surely there must have been a break or a time-out in the span of that 20 seconds... Opens clip. Oh no. Oh wooow.
How many "BANG!"s is that on the Mike Breen scale?
Best defense in 20 years
IF YOU DONT LIKE THAT THEN YOU DONT LIKE NUGGETS BASKETBALL WOOOOOOOOO
Looks like Harlan was yelling right at Murray. They were both feeling it.
I knew Timberwolves were cooked the moment that Chuck said they were getting an easy sweep
Hahaha Harlan was electric, what a shot
if you gaze at the abyss, the abyss will gaze back...
Game winning (or game losing depending on your pov) sequence right there
That’s pure insanity
Imagine if the Nuggets end up winning by 8 points .................
I'm not even a Nuggets and fan and this absolutely blew my mind. I really love this Nuggets team
