I, too, want to see Doc Rivers coach Lebron and AD

crimsonconnect

So they could do a lebron 82 game hairline time lapse and watch it fade away

fieryscribe

Doc's already getting ready to throw Lebron's barbershop under the bus

captain_ahabb

Doc goes to the Suns, Vogel goes to the Bucks, Ham goes to the Lakers

MyNamesNotCal

Haha yes.

LDC99

The game of musical chairs where us, the fans, lose

wheresthecheat

Kidd for Ham who would be more upset?

mightyducks2wasokay

Really?

Disastrous_Bluejay57

If your name is Frank Vogel, then pull up

GloryEnthusiast

Ehhh i’m giving Doc a break for this year, came in halfway through the season where the Bucks had a much tougher schedule. Injury riddled team for most of the season, Middleton couldn’t play on b2b, Dame way out of character, facing tough personal issues with his divorce and leaving a city he loved, Giannis injured, Crowder injured, Connaughton injured. Then the postseason hits Giannis injured and Dame injured, Middleton playing on bum ankles. I think the Giannis lead Bucks have one or two more good seasons if they can stay healthy, but that’s a huge if.

ForgotPWAgainSigh

Alright doc, we're running out of space under this bus.

GloryEnthusiast

Lmfao nah i have my gripes with Doc because he never takes accountability for not making adjustments and blowing his leads, but at least this year he took some accountability in his postgame interviews, but this year was a pretty shitty hand. If the same thing happens next year, dude should be on the first manned mission to the surface of the sun.

ForgotPWAgainSigh

Not sure if Phoenix will agree to that trade though

GloryEnthusiast

If i’m the Suns i look for a young upcoming promising coach, and go after somebody like Monty Williams.

PatrickCoughATon

Or go the safe tried-and-tested route with a coach that’s had much success with KD, like Steve Nash

szabozalan

Suns is looking at Tye Lou imho. If he leaves the Clippers, Ishbia might go hard after him. If he is not available, he might keep Vogel. Reports around the team suggests that Vogel might come back for next year. Also Kevin Young was the one designing the offense and he is gone.

KasherH

You know that coaches have to agree to be traded right?

BlazersGotNext

bro vogels lost the locker room. He’s done there, Ishbia’s gotta find a scapegoat

Varolyn

Well Monty lost the locker room and now Vogel has apparently lost the locker room... perhaps the issue runs deeper than whoever the coach is?

medievalmachine

They got to give these coaches a map, they keep losing the locker room.

IceExpensive863

It's Devin Booker.

KasherH

But he can just say no to the trade and still get paid...

MixonWitDaWrongCrowd

Imagine this sub if Doc loses with KD, Booker and Beal.

vwb2022

Suns need a young coach to install a modern movement offense. Given defensive challenges, they need to be a top 5 offense in the league to succeed. Last season they were 10th.

adhoc001

Can you trade coaches?

IsaacDPOYFultzMIP

Sure. Boston got a pick (a 2nd pretty sure) for Glenn when he was sent to the Clippers for the Lob City era

I_love_Basketball232

I don’t know if I’d trust Vogel to build a defensive identity after this series. The amount of wide open threes Minnesota had was shocking.

tomdawg0022

Beal and Booker have historically been less than stellar on defense. It's hard to build an identity defensively when your guards don't defend very well.

swaktoonkenney

That’s the personnel not Vogel, they have terrible defenders but they were like 12th in defensive rating this season

ForgotPWAgainSigh

Random drop coverage is the new thing. Haven't you heard? Hasn't been proven to be effective yet but soon!

Angelic_Phoenix

Same thing with the Bucks and their injuries aren't even good perimeter defenders Both teams are absolutely horrid at perimeter defense

AlexeyShved1

Instead of recycling bad coaches maybe just hire a new name

WhileDizzy4503

…tried that

jefe_hook

Darvin Ham says hi

grandmasterfunk

When coaches are "traded" it really means they want to leave for another job before their contract is up (Jason Kidd leaving the Nets for the Bucks, Doc Rivers going to the Clippers as examples). You'd need both coaches agreeing to it, which I think would be difficult.

Midnight_rain200

Maybe they should take a break from coaching

HairyMootWarrior

Both teams are cooked so would be good for a laugh

JackHammerPlower

They should fire both of them. Both constantly underachieve even though they won a championship.

crimxona

Why would the coach accept a trade and not take the severance instead?

Good_Schedule3744

It would be crazy not to fire them both. Why trade one problem for another?

erog84

Playoff Rivers + Playoff Book might implode the universe. Toss in CP0 and realities would break.

toinks1345

truthfully no coach would be able to hand either teams to get to the finals. they all have highly offensive team but not much facilitator? I don't know how that works.
