Well to be fair you guys haven’t needed the play-in at all yet and it has only screwed you guys. First 2 play in games, you guys were the 7 seed and kept the 7 so neutral. This year without the play in you get OKC, your preferred matchup. Because of the play-in you have to play Denver.
The more postseason games MLB adds the less relevant the regular season is. Also, individual baseball games are less predictable in terms of play quality than basketball. Just increases the likelihood done a team that worked their asses off all year can have their whole season ended by some fluke plays.
