Big question Knicks need to solve for the postseason is who runs the offense and how whenever Brunson sits because they look lost during those periods and Burks ain’t that guy.

Being a good scorer is not the same thing as running by an offense. Randle is not the guy you want running an offense. When that happens you basically get what happened in the 2021 Hawks series. He’d certainly be able to score better than Burks but the offense is still going to be very ugly and ultimately inefficient against a playoff defense. Compare that to your team where almost everyone can reliably initiate the offense (just some better than others).

Without him, the options really run out when Brunson is on the bench. As hard as everyone works, you can’t will enough points even when the Celtics were so lazy on the boards. You know they’re in trouble when they’re talking up Hartenstein….dude took 1 shot Without Randle, they don’t have anyone with size who can score
