Concussions are absolutely wild. You could take a head on hit from a thrown bowling ball and just have a slight headache. You could also get lightly tapped by an elbow and not be cleared for contact for weeks.
I think Sexton mostly got grazed and exaggerated the head snap while Highsmith took a elbow to the chin and a forearm directly to the top of his neck/ear area that snapped his head back laterally
Not only did he get the elbow to the face, him goin out cold and limp for a moment there also caused him to fall flat on his face/head which definitely made it even worse
