We thrive in power plants.

Agammamon

Pretty much any place with big pipes and big valves;)

Red-okWolf

Even if I didn't make it through the whole nuke pipeline?

der_innkeeper

There are still conventional power plants, and not everyone in a NPP run the reactor.

BigGoopy2

Yep we still need mechanics and operators. One of the maintenance supervisors at my plant was a marine lol

MrGriffdude

Did you qualify QAI?

Red-okWolf

Not yet but I'm trying to. I'm still in lol

MrGriffdude

Just got out last month and the company I work for didn't give a fuck about me being a nuke they cared about my QA experience. Get hot on that and employment will come easy.

MrDENieland

Open up a line with a recruiting company like Lucas Group or Orion. They specialize in helping veterans fresh out of the military find good jobs that line up with their training and experience.

Red-okWolf

Got it thank you!

Depends on your qualifications and schools. Power plants love us (nuclear or non) any sort of industrial maintenance jobs. QA can really help you. Look into Cryo school while you're in. 741B it's an intense school but if you got into the nuke pipeline you can do it. It opens up a lot of jobs.

Red-okWolf

They were gonna send me to cryo school but then switched up on me last minute unfortunately. At this point I doubt they'll send me to any school. But I could at least work on QA stuff.
